We've bought simpler plants like lavender plants as well as a Japanese maple. They have a frequent shopper account that you can accumulate rewards for too. The one thing that's nice is they have a plant guarantee where you can get reimbursed for a plant that doesn't make it, which is great if you don't have a really green thumb. We did use that once for a smaller/cheaper plant and it was no problem. Luckily, the pricier tree has done well. Service is always friendly and responsive. They can recommend suitable plants that fit certain sunlight or water requirements that you might have. Prices are higher than non-nurseries like hardware stores, but the plant quality seems overall higher and the survival guarantee of course is worth a fair amount if you're more of a beginner gardener like us.

There are ample of trees available to look around and browse. They have a wide selection of different types. Our favorite in the noble as they smell sooo good. Students and parents volunteer here at the local MV school and they are always so kind and helpful! You chose your tree and they cut it, trim it, net it and wrap it on your car ready to go. Super convenient! The trees are reasonably priced as well and I love that the profiles go to the school. One thing I learned this year is if you do the turkey trot on Thanksgiving you get a discount on your tree! I will remember that for next year. Highly recommend for a smooth, simple Christmas tree selection place! It does tend to get pretty busy in weekends so I recommend going on the earlier side when it opens!

Then I moved to the Santa Cruz mountains and it was about 30 minutes from my house now I live up near San Francisco an hour away, but I still find my way back to this nursery. That's how great it is. All the trees are kept in water so they stay fresh, and the staff will make a fresh cut, trim the lower branches, net the tree and tie it to your car. Much cheaper than a tree lot, and the place is decorated so it's still festive. We get our tree here every year, and before that at the Summerwinds in Campbell. I like to put my tree up Thanksgiving weekend and keep it up until after New Year's and our trees from here always last and last. This year we got a handsome 7-foot Douglas fir for $29.99. Christmas is in the air! I also come here for gardening supplies in the spring. Terrific service, friendly staff and good prices. Not quite as cheap as a garden center at a hardware store, but still very reasonable. The quality of the plants and the service is worth it.

When it's not a pumpkin patch, the lot gets used for other things - such as Xmas trees. I've been here a few times over the years with various groups. Entrance prices are relatively decent, but ride prices can rack up quickly - especially if you have multiple kids. There are plenty of things to see/do even if not participating in the rides. Staff is usually very friendly. I think they've added on some games for the kids over the years, such as the water ball one. The maze is always fun to get lost in and the hayride offers views within the corn fields. The petting zoo has some cute animals. There's a small cafe area in the middle of everything where you can grab some snacks/food. If you're here on a weekday expecting less of a crowd, there are school tours going around and may be more packed than expected.
