My friend and I had so much fun at the Pumpkin Station! We enjoyed the lovely sunflower fields, a tricky corn maze, a hay ride, the pumpkin patch, and a petting zoo with several goats, some bunnies, and one sheep! Prices were reasonable and affordable. The patch sold Dippin' Dots and water bottles. Outside was a tasty taco truck. The only downfall is that no dogs are allowed. I would highly recommend the Pumpkin Station for some October fun! read more

This is a huge and fun place for the children and adult as well! Went to ride the hay truck, bought pumpkins, took pictures, saw the farm animals and sat down in their picnic area to eat and rest before heading back home. We will definitely come back next year! read more

Went here only 5 days before Halloween and there were still plenty of pumpkin options! The woman who rang me up was very sweet! The corn maze wasn't as tall as I had hoped but it was still a great maze and to see beautiful sunflowers was a pleasant surprise! If you're like me and pumpkin patches bring up images of farmlands, animals, and picturesque scenery, then this is the pumpkin patch to visit! Unlike some other pumpkin patches in SD, the Pumpkin Station has a very relaxed vibe that I totally dig. There's no rides or prize games but in place of that, there is a corn maze, sunflower field, trails, pumpkin fields.. and much more! Overall, I love this place so much and I've only been here once. This is city-owned and I love how they put an emphasis on nature; the pumpkins and sun flowers are all organic and hand picked! The Pumpkin Station is located right off the I 15 N, with free admission and parking. Once I walked in, there was a worker who greeted us with a smile and explained to us what the Station has to offer! PRO TIP: Since it was the last weekend before Halloween, the pumpkins are heavily discounted, with large pumpkins that would usually sell for $40-$50 being sold at $20! WHAT I DID: 1. CORN MAZE: Tickets are $2 per person and they go on an honor system since there's no one really keeping track of tickets/who is going in. However, I had no problem paying for the tickets since I love supporting places like these. The corn maze is very kid-friendly and not very difficult at all. 2. HAY RIDE: Love the hay ride! Again, $2 per person. Our "tour-guide", Danny, was a sweet country guy from Alabama. He gives you the run-down on the history of this pumpkin patch and you go on a hay ride around the premises. It's pretty short but he points out the sun flower fields and trails to do! 3. PETTING ZOO: These are the happiest petting zoo goats I have ever seen! Bring your own carrots to feed them or you can buy little baggies full of carrots for $1. The goats aren't interested in you unless you have food, hahaha. 4. OTHER STUFF: There are so many places to take photos! Including photo cut outs, a big tractor you can sit on, sunflowers... Recommend this place so much if you're planning on to pick up a pumpkin. read more

I've always loved pumpkin patches, but I was extra excited this year to bring my one year old to do all the fun fall activities. Pumpkin Station did not disappoint. This pumpkin patch is located off the W Bernardo exit on the 15. It's free to go in and you pay for each activity you do (tractor ride, corn maze, sunflower picking, pumpkins, petting zoo, etc). They of course had plenty of pumpkins of different sizes and varieties. There was a petting zoo with sheep and goats. There was a tractor that kids could climb into and plenty of cute photo opportunities on hay bales with mounds of pumpkins. I absolutely loved the sunflower field. You get shears and pick however many flowers you'd like ($2 per stem). The field is beautiful for taking photos in as well. There are different varieties of sunflowers and it was so cool bringing my freshly picked sunflowers home and admiring them leading up to Halloween. I didn't get to do the corn maze or tractor ride but definitely will next year! This is a great place for the family or to enjoy as a couple or with friends. You can bring your dog too as long as they stay on their leash. This will definitely become part of my fall traditions each year-- can't wait to come back! read more

Cute and small little pumpkin patch. No admission or parking fees. Hay ride and corn maze is $2/person. No matter the age... our tickets were collected for the hay ride but not the corn maze, so I ended up giving my 5 tickets to another family walking in. It wasn't a bad place buy there aren't rides or slides here. Has a little petting zoo and picture props your little ones can take photos with. Pumpkins in field are cute but they're a little pale. Otherwise you can just pick the prettier individually priced ones .. starting from $3- $23. The employees were very nice also. read more

This pumpkin patch is picturesque with 360 views of the valley, mountains and sky. The tractor ride is only $1 per person and long enough for little tykes to get their thrills. (Forgot how prickly hay can be. Maybe bring a blanket to sit on or wear jeans, if you know what I mean.) Pumpkins are more expensive than the grocery store, but it's the experience and photo ops that most folks are after. Bate's Nut Farm is great, but with this so close, it's a no-brainer. Also fun stuff here are shady picnic tables, a corn maze, and a few farm animals to admire. read more

We have visited this pumpkin patch for many years. I love that it's not crowded and everyone is super friendly. The man on the hay ride offered to take pictures for us and also stopped several times on the ride for selfie opportunities. He made some jokes along the way and pointed-out things to watch for along the way. The lady at the register was sweet and took the time to make my son feel special by asking him questions and talking to him. Awesome people! read more

I buy pumpkins here every year for my first grade students who come from low income households. The staff and service is always great and I LOVE the sunflowers, they're so beautiful. Customer service is not the greatest! While I was making line to turn in an item I found, the lady from the counter Mary turned away and she returns and says go to the other side to pay I have to make a phone call! She saw me standing and never said anything till I was next. I go to the other side just to turn in a camera lens cover that I found and the cashier said thanks and just tossed it to the side. read more

If you live in RB and have small kids this is a must do. Lots of space for the kids to run around and animals to feed :). As stated in the other posts...great picture taking opportunities. Very friendly staff and good prices on the pumpkins. We'll be back next year. read more
