I don't know how this place is rated 4.4 on here. DO NOT come here! Save your time and money. Find your tree somewhere else! We had a horrible experience while trying to find our annual Christmas tree given the birth of our son earlier this year. We arrived on their first opening day this season very excited to buy a real tree. There was ZERO customer service when husband and I were trying to inquire about tree selection or delivery process. There were plenty of people at the cashier booth and lot. All seemed eager to NOT help. It was painfully obvious that the temp seasonal staff just wanted to do the bare minimum and get their hourly pay. We waited 15-30 minutes in line just to get a run around with staff members on tree selection. This was even before we were able to pay the cashier the $120 worth of tree we picked out. We then asked about a portapotty on the lot in which the cashier answered "I don't know, I just got here." Seriously, find another Christmas tree lot for your annual Christmas tree or buy an artificial tree to save yourself from this sour experience. I took the time to send an email on our horrible experience on their website. No human response at all. They don't care. read more

Some good quality trees here but they all are a little more expensive than they should be. They sent me a coupon in the mail for $10 off $50 or more. The problem is I only wanted a little tree and they are cleverly priced at $45. Last year I was able to get one for $40 because they were normally $50. Now they appear to be less but ironically not if you have a coupon. Not a huge deal but worth pointing out the clever inflation. read more

I stopped by to see my mother this morning. We got to talking about Christmas and what day we were going to get our trees. We always do it together because my dad turns into the grinch come middle of November. The trees we get are monsters, at least ten feet and we're small women. Every year it's kind of a hassle, cavernous ceilings be damned! We love it and hate it. So we were sitting there talking and I found this place on the beloved Yelp app. It did not disappoint. I spoke to Rick, who is low-key hilarious. I told him what we wanted and how particular my lovey mother is about her Christmas trees. He made it so easy. The tree came the same day (today), and it's beautiful! The perfect tree. Almost touches the ceiling, it's full bodied and has great shape. It came pre-soaked, in the holder and they placed it exactly where we asked them to. The delivery guys were awesome as well. We will be ordering my parent's tree there every year. There is not a single negative thing I could pick out of this place. If I lived in North County, that's where I would buy/order my tree. Happy holidays to all! read more

Given the current climate, I wanted a tree delivered. I ordered a 5-6' Noble with a base, and requested a delivery window on my specific date. The tree was delivered as promised, and is beautiful! Not only that, but they went the extra mile, and put cardboard under each of the feet to protect my hardwood floor! I will definitely be using them again! What a great place! Not all commercial like those other joints. Not a rode in sight unless you count the hay ride. They had a real life corn maze that I thought we would have to spend the night in as my 6 year old "totally knew the way." Only $1 person for that. They also had a bin of 2 for $1 pumpkins. Deal!! Best of all, they had a huge sunflower patch that served as a beautiful backdrop for pictures. If you live in a 10 mile radius, this is where you should go. read more

Excellent location. Cute, quaint, & perfect country ambience for a family fun outing to select a tree. What I was a little bummed out about is that I presented here to seek a less than, "Charlie Brown-size" christmas tree as I am temporarily in a tiny-home living situation. So I headed over to what appeared to be their clippings and throw-away pile. I made the inference that this tree/clipping (if you could even call it that) that was not quality enough to sell anyway (hence the reason it was next to this pile). I inquired about it- also told him why I wasn't in need of one of their beautiful standard trees. He quoted me over $30 for this clipping that was likely to be tossed anyway. I went to the pumpkin patch here and it was very eventful. They have lots of photo opportunities and a very country feel. It was my first pumpkin patch experience and I do not think my "first time" could have been better. There was a corn maze, a hay ride, and the pumpkin field to wander through. Besides Christmas Trees, they also do a pumpkin patch in the fall. This is how I came to find this place. I really like buying produce and other goods directly from growers. Its cheaper, fresher and I like to support the local economy. They grow their pumpkins, gourds and other fall selections. AND you get to go out in the field and pick your pumpkin which I enjoy! When I brought my pumpkins and other decorative items, the lady behind the counter said that she picked the pumpkins and stuffed the hay that morning. She also proceeded to give me really great advice on baking pumpkin seeds and drying the gourds. I love places like this. Bonus, when I bought my pumpkins they gave me a coupon for $$$ off a Christmas Tree when the season comes :-) read more

Our family loves this place! This is our 5th year buying a tree from Pinery right after Thanksgiving. The trees are all very nice and we always find the perfect tree for a reasonable price. The staff provide full service, shaking out the tree, netting it, putting on a stand, and helping it attach to the roof of our minivan. This year we discovered a stand we bought was leaking when we got the tree up and they sent someone out the same day to replace the stand for us for free. You can't get much better than that!! Really disappointed this year. My tree died in 2 weeks. I sent an email and heard no response. I called and finally got a hold of a human and was told that I couldn't get a refund. And he wasn't very nice. Maybe they have a sign up stating that they don't give refunds. If so, then my bad. We've been going there forever. Made sure the yr they got to reopen after the Witch Creek fire that we bought from them to show our support. I liked going there because of the memories for the kids. Next yr it will be a $25 tree from Home Depot. read more

A great little pumpkin patch without the drive out to Bate's! Lots of great photo ops for little ones, tractor rides, corn mazes, etc. Did not experience any grumpy staff like the last reviewer mentioned- everyone was very friendly and extremely tolerant of us running around snapping a million pics of our baby's first trip to a pumpkin patch. read more
