I ordered product online which was available next day. Turned out they didn't have the inventory, but they waisted so much time looking for it I spent more than an hour in the store. Jaunita was the customer service person who "helped" me, but honestly it was a bunch of blank stares and no answers. I watched her click on the screen in poops over and over again. She walked away from me several times, and I had to keep asking for an update. At the end of the day I only was able to get part of my order. She couldn't tell me when they would have the rest. Lowe's used ARS Rescue Rooter to install our hot water heater. This is a huge disservice to their customers! ARS charged twice as much as the norm. Then when I asked them about replacing the PRV, they quoted $1400+. I ended up having Carroll Plumbing doing it for $375. Lowe's should drop ARS as their installer. read more

We had a staff member named Tim cut glass for us to a certain size and we were so grateful this service is offered here!! It takes a lot of time to measure and cut, so it was incredibly awesome he got it done the same day we walked in. The staff here are all friendly and look for ways to help guests. We are here for the kids workshop....the staff are very nice..they are making a birdhouse today. The only problem we have here, is that the tables that the kids are working shake when they use the hammer....they have to move to the floor when they need to use the hammer. What do you know, Lowes has a 2 and a half star rating. I wonder why. Honestly, that's a much higher rating than I would give them. I went to Lowes two times to try to get help with a plumbing issue and couldn't get anyone to help me. I walked in and ask the guy at returns to send someone to help me in plumbing and after twenty minutes wondering the plumbing aisle, I decided to leave. I OVERCHARGED $254.29, AND THEY WILL NOT FIX IT!! On July 20th, 2024, I walked into Lowes Escondido to purchase 200 16-inch blocks for a retaining wall. I walked to customer service and was greeted very nicely. I conveyed that I needed qty 200 units, which I had purchased 500 units before, and it was shipped out of the Marietta location. She confirmed that the area had 900 units, then confirmed that a flatbed was needed and that there was a $79.00 delivery fee. We finalized the transaction of $770 for the block, $79.00 for the shipping, and tax of $ 65.80, and the total was $914.80. Delivery was set for Monday the 22nd; Lowes will call with a time to schedule. I received a phone call. Saturday, I thought it was for scheduling at 7:46 pm, and the shipping department was confused. They did not have the block at the Escondido location. I told them it was being pulled from the Marietta location. They stated they would figure it out. I received another phone call from the Escondido Location on Sunday at 8:42 am, and they couldn't figure it out, so I talked with a manager. I told them why dont you back out of the transaction and resubmit it for the Marietta location. They stated they could do that, that I would need to call Marietta and schedule, and that they canceled my order. I called the Marrietta location to remake the purchase at 9:15 am on the 21st. They set up the transaction, but I was told the price was more than just a little bit, but by $254.29. I asked why, and they stated that the block is sold for more through their location, and the delivery fee posted for $79.00 is now $99.00. I needed the block to match the last order, so I purchased it. I was then told that My order would show up 5 days longer than what was originally scheduled; I made arrangements for help that day. I then called Lowes corporate to see if they would help fix the price and was told no. I then looked on the web to see if anyone else had the same block, as I was disheartened by the poor runaround and service. I found out that the same Marietta location had a lower price posted via Google compared to the original lower price I paid for from the Escondido location. This was not a sale price, it wasn't on special! I will think long and hard if I EVER need anything again from lowes. In addition to feeling screwed over by Lowes, they violated California Law with this issue, code 12024.2 BPC. They charged more for the item posted on the web tied to their location. The original order was sold to me at a lower price, then canceled and then charged me more. I do not recommend Lowes! read more

Jose at Lowes Escondido went way above and beyond the call in helping us in so many ways.I am handicapped with knee problems so Jose took the time to help was out with our purchases and loaded up all of our purchases into our carin the safest and best way possible. When we returned home, I discovered I had lost my card and immediately called our Lowes Store and it was Jose who answered the phone! We told him of our problem and he immediately inquired at each check out stand and then went outside to the parking lot in the dark and checked the entire lot! Unfortunately, we could not find our card and immediately took action. In this day of poor service increasing at an alarming rate, it's so wonderful to experience a employee such as Jose who went above and beyond the call for us. This review is ONLY regarding the service co they use for extended warranty issues. The word service should not be anywhere in their name. It takes at least 2 weeks to get an appt. I was scheduled 12-23 from 12-5. Tech showed up at my door at 11:15 calling me to install part on my dishwasher. I was at the hospital with my mother. I asked him to please come back and he never did. It took another 2 weeks to reschedule. Most unprofessional company I have ever had to use. My Samsung dishwasher broke after 1 1/2 years. read more

This is the worst Lowe's location I have ever visited. Yesterday, I went to buy medium boxes, and I noticed that other Lowe's locations had it at a cheaper price. So, I went to the customer service desk to ask if they could price match. The guy said they could, but they needed to make sure the item numbers matched. I checked, and they did match. When I went to the cashier, he checked and confirmed it was the same item, but then said they wouldn't price match. I went back to customer service, and the person there, with a bad attitude, said they had changed their mind and wouldn't price match anymore. Can you please be more professional? If you can't do the price match, you should have said so the first time instead of wasting my time. This is ridiculous. There was another time I tried to make a return. I arrived at 7 PM, and they close at 8 PM. The customer service person said I couldn't make the return because the manager had already taken the money away. You close at 8 PM, not 7 PM! 2021 update. Pro Center review. This summer I had another large yard project planned.. We used Lowe's for a backyard project last year and their shipping was very reasonable for heavy material delivery ($79). This year we needed another large order shipped to our house.. Jesus was our pro rep and suggested I sign up for their credit card because it drops the truck shipping to $20 forever and you get and instant $200 off your bill. We don't really use credit cards, but we use Lowe's often and love that $20 shipping perk.. By comparison, there's a local rock yard that wanted to charge us $175 (plus other fees) to ship a heavy load! But regardless of offers, their large order process is spot on. The main negative here are the homeless in the paking lot and in large encampments on all sides of this store. This past month Lowe's hired security guards to patrol both inside and outside of the store to protect employees and customers. NOTES- You simply can't trust their "x number of items available in store" when browsing from their web page or app. Either they're not in the location where the app says it is, or they were "stolen" as I often hear from employees that can't find what I'm looking for. It's also tough to find or get help from staff walking the floor. - I like the garden center here over Hone Depot. - Lowe's doesn't rent tools and equipment. - Better power tools are found at Home Depot. - Better quality wood at Lowe's than at Home Depot. - Lowe's is cleaner and more organized than Home Depot. - More focused on decor at Lowe's read more

I was so impressed with the service from the plumbing, blinds and check out representative. I was welcomed when I entered the store. When I asked where plumbing was they escorted me to the department and introduced me to the representative thier. He listened to my need and helped me understand the different sizes and brands. I didn't have a cart he went and got one for me. While their a checkout rep was introduced to me and shared what discount I would receive if I purchased the item on a Lowe's card. She actual took my cart to the front and asked if I needed other items as I would receive a 20% discount on all items the day I apply for the card. I said yes I needed blinds and she took me over to the isle and introduced me to the rep there. Both reps I spoke with there were fantastic. They saved me money by Shari g I only need verticals blind canes and the whole header. I'm both departments I baited they were great listeners and ask great question to make sure I had all the items I needed to complete my projects so that I would not have to make return trips. That the best customer I have received in years. I saved money, got everything I needed and did not have to return to the store. I will always choose Lowe's for my projects and recommend them highly. I decided to return items purchased at Lowe's the other day to end supporting Lowe's . While at the store decided to speak Georgia who called me to let me know the four batteries were in. I asked Georgia if any status change on the four pack batt 15-20 boxes that came in a day ago. Georgia called the her assistant manager Enrique if okay to release the battery pack. Enrique had Georgia cancel the order and charge me the price of the Black Friday day sale. Compared to the decision of the other store manager Carly S., left customer hanging and Inconvenienced. I was happy with the Assistant manager Enrique decision and specially with Georgia was always there to help customers out and do her due diligence to server her customers. With this outcome, changing 1 star rating to three, not five since there still need training within Lowe's specially Carly S how to treat customers first and not herself. Also, changes within Lowe's toll free customer care not able assist customer when requested and resolving issue due to their policy they don't handle in store order pick up. If I could give less than 1, I would. I ordered a TerxDeck kit in May for a June install by my contractor. I explained to the service desk that I needed a kit for stairs. When it came time to install the sent kit, it was not for steps but for a horizontal railing system. The contractor confirmed it would not work and to return it to Lowes. Upon contacting Lowes, I was told there would be a restocking fee of 20% (I was never told that when the order was placed). That is a $600 charge to put something on a shelf or return it to a warehouse. Really, I do you justify $600. The ProDesk was nasty and no help. They can't explain to me why I am paying $600 restocking fee for an order that was incorrect? I have been a customer for decades and for $600 they lost a customer.
