I was with an Indian friend who is vegan AND gluten free - they accommodated his diet and made it sufficiently spicy for him. They managed my no cilantro/coriander request just fine AND made it sufficiently mild for my delicate sensibilities. The food was flavorful and quality and good portions at good prices! Excellent experience while attending a trade show in Atlantic City.

Just Wow. And we ordered naan and got it ten minutes after our dinners came out. The owner greeted us and was friendly but didn't help with the bad service. We were all so thirsty the whole time... we clocked that we were there for 2 hours and 15 min. Spin the wheel?!!! Can I get a soda? How can anyone be that bad of a server? And no, they were not busy!!! The check was soooooo high. Will never go back. I do not mind paying 200 plus tip for 4 people... but you need to actually have good service and quality dining to do so. I still tipped the 20 percent but was pretty ticked off that we were basically ignored the entire time... and why is it called fusion? And why does every new restaurant add this word to their name- it makes me laugh now and refuse to FUSION- it means you think you are fine dining. Um NO .. fine dining is superb service, I didn't even get acceptable service. Its Indian food with a little section of Thai Food.... See You! Will not be back.

Family Owned - Highly Recommend…read more The food at this place is very very authentic. The area where the store is located is kindly of sketchy and also in inside of the store - you will think no works here. But just call for someone. All the food that we ordered was very very tasty. We ordered: Chicken Chapli Kabab: too too good. Especially the ingredients - we were able to relish everything it was made of. Chicken sheekh kabab: honestly, we didn't like then too much as first of all they were little cold and it tasted like they were not fresh. Lamb Chops: OMG, lamb chops were super. I had the best lamb chops in my life. Highly recommend trying them if you are here. Goat Korma: And the last thing we ordered was Goat Korma with Garlic Naan. Awesome awesome awesome. Definitely, this food made my trip worth to Atlantic City. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is a food lover.

You also have an access point from the broad walk. The food is delicious and more North Indian. We ordered the Kabab Platter - all of them were perfectly done and served four. We ordered butter chicken and lamb curry along with Naan and some fried rice (the chef accommodated our requests to cook along with eggs). Overall, the food was worth going back. He staff was very friendly and took good care of us from our entry, getting seated, making sure we enjoyed our food and got rid of the mango lassi we didn't like. So overall, a good catch for an Indian stop on the Broadwalk.

The food is excellent across the board, but a few dishes truly stand out. Their Pani Puri Bomb! is a must-order--bright, punchy, and perfectly balanced, with a burst of flavor that lives up to the name. The Punjabi samosa is everything you want it to be: crisp, well-seasoned, and generously filled. For mains, the kitchen really shines. The lamb rogan josh and vindaloo are deeply flavorful and expertly spiced, with tender meat and rich, layered sauces. On the milder side, the chicken korma and butter chicken are beautifully done--creamy without being heavy, aromatic, and incredibly comforting. Pair any of these with the Kashmiri naan, which is soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. Their signature chicken dum biryani deserves special praise: fragrant basmati rice, well-marinated chicken, and balanced spices all brought together with care and precision. It's hearty, satisfying, and clearly made with attention to detail. Service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which makes the experience even better. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Jalsa Indian Kitchen delivers both quality and consistency. Highly recommended for anyone craving excellent Indian food done right.

Dessert we got the Dubai chocolate cake which is a must! We ended the evening with fresh Paan!

The service was great, the food was amazing, and the space had a clean, modern vibe with stylish decor. The atmosphere was fantastic. Overall Ratings Restaurant 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Parking: Free Atmosphere The restaurant feels very open. The lighting and decor are thoughtfully done and truly impressive. Cleanliness also stood out--it was spotless. Service This place delivers five-star service at less than half the price. When they brought out new plates after we finished our appetizer, I was shocked--in the best way. Wow, wow, wow. And the owner lived up to everything my friend said--personable, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Since it was my first time, he even offered to play one of my favorite songs over the speaker. They genuinely make you feel like a guest in their home. What We Ordered -Chili Garlic Naan (Very good--not overly spicy at all. It's more of a mild to medium heat, very manageable.) -Vegetable Samosa (Very fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful.) -Goat Curry (Absolutely delicious--not overly oily like at some other places.) -Chicken Tikka Masala (Another standout dish, rich and flavorful.) Every dish blew me away. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. One note: if you don't want any spice, order mild. If you want mild to medium heat, go with medium. They're more than happy to accommodate your preference. Final Thoughts This is by far the BEST Indian restaurant I've been to in NJ. I just wish it was closer to where I live. I'd have no problem eating here every day--there are so many great options on the menu. At other Indian restaurants, I sometimes deal with heartburn or indigestion, but I didn't experience that here at all. The service is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the space is beautiful.
