    The very clean salad station.

Given my pigging out the night before, I decided to go for a healthy-ish option. I took the beaten path between Harrahs and Barona and headed here. Side rant: Since Harrahs, Barona, and Golden Nugget are off the Boardwalk, you'd think they'd make an easier way to get to the different properties w/o risking life or limb since there are no sidewalks. But I guess each property wants to keep their guests captive. End of side rant. Lol Hemingway I was impressed with Chop & Toss's presentation. Granted I went here a little after 10 and I'm sure not many people order salads for breakfast. There was one lady working the counter and I was impressed with how carefully she was picking out the individual ingredients for my Chicken Bistro so she wouldn't make a mess. Everything looked so good. I opted for a light dressing which was perfect. The lettuce was not soggy like it would be if I had heavy sauce. The salad seemed pretty large too. Overall it was a good light meal.

Fresh salads! You can make your own or pick from a set menu. They have a variety of dressings to choose from. A little on the pricey side ($12-$15 for a salad). Wish the portion was a little larger for the price.

For a food court choice, this place delivered. Fresh salad tossed right in front of you with gorgeous fresh ingredients. My Cobb salad was awesome but pricey. $18 for salad and bottled water... however the size of the salad and freshness made up for it.. for a casino quick spot to eat, it was perfect.

    Yum!

This place was amazing. I got the quinoa salad and added avocado. The food was fresh and delicious. The portion was very large and came with some whole wheat pita bread. Very clean place with friendly employees. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a salad or wrap!

I ended up eating here because EVERYTHING at Harrah's Resort is ridiculous and overpriced. The good part about the restaurant is that you can get a salad with chicken that isn't fried. I ended up eating that 5 days in a row but I don't think it was with $15.99. On the last day, I ordered chicken tenders (not fried), to my surprise it was 3 chicken tenderloins or a fairly nice size. Still not quite worth the price but it wasn't salad! These Master Chefs and celebrity chefs have a great thing going at Harrah's resort. If you for it there and sunny have a car, you're forced to pay abnormally ridiculous prices for food at the quality of McDonald's. I don't like McDonald's. I abhor paying 5-star prices for 2-star food just because somebody famous has their name or picture on the wall! Good food is worth his money but drek is drek!! Shame on the stars who may not know what's being served at their own restaurants while they profit enough to travel around the world judging and fixing other people's fare!!!

I opted for outdoor seating on a perfect late evening, and it set the tone beautifully. There's something special about this spot - it sits away from the boardwalk's noise and chaos, offering a much more relaxed, genuine dining experience. I tend to gravitate toward the same order here, and for good reason. The crab cakes are outstanding - generous with the crab meat, full of flavor, and absolutely worth the price. I paired them with a Caesar salad, a solid combination. I also ordered the fried shrimp platter - the batter was spot-on, the portion was generous enough that we couldn't finish it, and, impressively, it held up well into the next morning. That's always a good sign. Don't skip the jar drinks. I went with the cucumber basil, and it was wonderfully refreshing - the kind of drink that just fits the vibe of the place perfectly. The service was prompt and on point. If you're in Atlantic City and looking for a break from the loud, touristy strip, Back Bay Ale House is where you want to be. One of my absolute favorites in AC - I'll keep coming back.

Deliciously seasoned with old bay and butter. Service from Jose was fast and friendly. Biscuits were banging .. they were cheddar and old bay! Manhattan clam chowder was the chowder of the day and it was okay, a bit watery. My fiancé doesn't eat fish and he enjoyed his rack of ribs. There are other non fish options as well. Make a reservation in advance .. the place isn't that big. They do have a bar area you can eat at. The views from the tables are amazing - of the bay! Definitely stop by for the crabs!

We were a party of 4 on a Saturday night, celebrating my best friend's birthday. We started out with what was the worst mojito we've ever had. We ordered a pitcher, and upon first sip, we realized something was terribly awry. It was bitter as hell. Like licking an orange rind kind of bitter. Our server confirmed that they actually put bitters in their mojitos. What? We sent the (warm) pitcher of mojito back (zero ice in it) and our server removed it from our tab. I have NEVER, ever sent a drink back, ANYWHERE. I would have deemed that as being "alcohol abuse", but drinking that nasty-ass mojito would have been abusive to my taste buds! The oysters were fishy, and the overcooked calamari had so much glaze on it (balsamic? motor oil?) that it was drowning. Three of us ordered the snow crabs (water-logged and "bendy") and my friend's husband ordered the ribs. He said the ribs were good, but he changed his tune when it revisited him a few hours later via barfing profusely. I mentioned on Open Table that we were celebrating a birthday (they asked) bur there was no mention of the occasion by the restaurant. A dessert there would have likely been underwhelming and not worth the calories anyway. I must say that our server was lovely and seemed to know that this place is a sinking ship. There's a reason for so many 2 star reviews. Run Forrest, run!
