When you walk in, there's a strong incense smell but don't let that put you off (kind of reminds you of a foreign country). There are many dry, fresh, and frozen goods a person could look for. I'd say the only weird thing is that it's located in the "back" of the plaza. It's not a bad thing though because that entire back parking lot is theirs alone. Anyways, the workers there are very friendly and knowledgeable about the product and they will not haggle you with anything. The place is clean and well stocked! My go to place for Indian cooking items!

I was craving it since home, especially when our days here have been sweltering. I had no idea where to get it locally, so I asked in a local Facebook group. I was turned on to Super Tehran, which is right by Costco. How convenient! The staff member behind the counter so friendly and helpful! Someone in the group mentioned which brand to get, but I could only see a tiny bottle that said Ayran. They had bigger sizes, but it said yogurt instead. The staff member was happy to help, and confirmed it's Ayran and mentioned there's a mint one as well. I also spotted a variety of Labne, and he shared with me which one was his favorite of that as well. The store is petite, but was quite busy with people. There were numerous things I wanted to try, but I had a fussy baby in tow, so we had to get home. I will most definitely be back and can't wait to try more! The store was clean, had a wide variety of products, plus everything was well in date (sometimes, with international stores, you find that the products have expired or are close to expiration, but this was not the case here, at least in the dairy products I was looking at). There was no way we were going to leave without picking up other groceries - the variety & quality of produce is better than most stores in Concord, and definitely at better prices. It was nice seeing so many seasonal fruits & veggies. A very relaxed shopping scene - not too crowded & pretty easy to navigate with a personal shopping bag. A great place to go to mix things up from our typical Food Maxx, Safeway & Trader Joe's.
