We ordered 2 new ones, Butter Chicken, and Goat Biryani. This will be a definite regular stop. WE LOVED OUR FOOD. I was intimidated by my inability just to order by the posted food number. She understood butter chicken but not my pronunciation of biryani. She also was way up there in the food truck so we had trouble understanding each other. I would have liked to ask more about her favorites and what these 2 men speaking a foreign language were eating. Their selection looked delicious and they clearly were enjoying their meal. Expect a 15 minute wait as your food is freshly prepared and there are alot of yellow jackets. I would like to see posted prices at the truck. I only saw my order total when I used my credit card and there was no separate receipt. Still out the door with around $32. As with most things that I enjoy, I like to stretch it out. Hubby and I shared the butter chicken for dinner. It was packaged in 3 separate containers, rice, yogurt and the chicken. I guessed at how to prepare it for reheating putting rice on the bottom, then chicken, microwave then out yogurt on top. We are saving the goat for tonight although we each sampled a big spoonful when we got home...spicy and so good. All in have to do with that one is reheat. I can't tell you how happy I am with this affordable find. There are two small seating areas but with those yellow jackets, I would eat at home. I will definitely be back but I will research their menu and maybe write down my choices because she didn't not understand #13 &18. I have a big chunk of Costco paneer here. I'd like to try some of the Taste of Punjab's paneer dishes. I've had paneer with spinach in Pittsburgh but didnt see anything like that here. I am definitely happy. Incidentally, it is at the Shell Station at 71 and Route 95 (Mount Gilead) on the southwest side of the intersection, behind the gas pumps. Red Food Truck.

We got there and there were two nice Indian ladies who waited on us. A lot of more people came while we were waiting for our food. We noticed that they were kneading and making their own bread to order. Soooooo good! We got a lot of food and it was so good. We just kept eating it. Quite possibly some of the best Indian food we've ever had. The samosas were amazing and had some kind of dusting on the outside that was extra delicious. Most definitely the best Paneer I've ever had. Anyway, if you're passing between Cleveland and Columbus, seek this place out.

Taste Of Punjab - We split the Butter Chicken. This is how I did it putting yogurt on after reheating. Yum.

I'll divide this review up into 4 sections to make this easier to read!…read more Food: I ordered the Curry Leaf Chicken, Butter Chicken, water, and the Apricot Delight! The Curry Leaf Chicken, even if it was a little out of my spice range at mild, was absolutely delicious with so many nice earthy, warm flavors and was really filling so if you're going to order this, make sure you have a very empty stomach to eat your entrée as well! Unfortunately, the Butter Chicken wasn't to my liking, not because I thought it was bad since this is a very popular Indian dish that would be very hard to mess up, but because I wanted to try something new and found out I simply didn't like sweet chicken, which is what this tasted like. So if you like those mixes this could be for you! There wasn't anything to note of about the rice I actually got for free but that honestly makes sense since it's meant to be eaten with their other, much more flavorful foods. The real star of the show however, was the Apricot Delight, do not miss out on this if you ever come! Not only was the presentation of this so cute (unfortunately I forgot to catch a pic) but after taking a bite to see how it tasted, I couldn't stop myself from taking a few more before leaving (I planning on taking it to-go to save for when I got home) because of how perfectly sweet, spongy, and milky it was! Service: Even though there was only 1 lady present, she really made me feel welcomed and even gave me a whole experience by putting on some of her favorite songs for me to listen to! She also is a great person to get recommendations from since she helped me pick my Curry Leaf Chicken as my appetizer! Not only that, but because I told her about my experience with my Butter Chicken, she paid for an extra order of my Appetizer to-go for me to take home! Overall she was a really sweet and pleasant person to be around! Interior: As you can see from my pictures, not only was the interior extremely clean and well-kept but the design was so beautiful in my opinion and I could really tell the restaurant put a lot of love and thought into their design! Who I'd Recommend this Place To: If you're looking to take a partner to a date in a restaurant where it's cozy, private, and not too loud, and you both have a love for spicy foods bursting with many flavors, then this place is for you! If you are an introvert that'd like to eat without feeling too crowded or feels too claustrophobic with a very accommodating server, then this place is for you! Finally, if you're looking for a new local business to support instead of another billion-dollar company then this place is definitely for you! Last Thing: This isn't a buffet, it's just a humble restaurant like any other, so please do not be misled when you come!
