After the ownership change, we decided to stop bringing our dog here after she had a full-blown panic attack during a visit. I do want to be clear that I'm not trying to dissuade anyone else from coming here. If you've had a positive experience, that may simply be your experience and your dog's experience. For us personally, our dog became extremely anxious. She would shake and pant uncontrollably just pulling into the parking lot, and based on her reaction, we no longer felt comfortable continuing to bring her here. I also want to share that I was uncomfortable seeing my previous five-star review displayed on the business website after the ownership change. That review was written based on my experience with the previous owners, not the current ownership, so I don't feel it accurately represents the experience someone would have under the current business. To me, using a review from a previous ownership period as current marketing feels misleading. Another concern for me was not being able to see what was happening behind the wall or observe the grooming process. We have since switched to a different grooming facility where our dog no longer shows this level of anxiety. They have windows where you can see the groomers working, and they are much more transparent about the process, which has given us peace of mind. This is simply my personal experience, and I recognize others may have had a different one. However, for our dog and our family, we do not feel comfortable returning. read more

The transition in ownership from Becca went smoothly until we had a grooming appointment on Friday and they shaved our dog since they were struggling with matting (our dog comes in every seven weeks and it was our normal seven week cadence). This is despite my husband brushing our dog two nights before and I the weekend previously. When my mum picked her up the groomer mentioned we didn't come in last month (thinking we were monthly clients) and she was struggling handling her. We have always been generous tippers and have come here for six years (our dog is seven) and this has never happened, Need to find another groomer but never coming back here--grateful they didn't injure our dog but apparent the groomer had no patience with her. read more

We have used these guys a few times now after our past groomer in Seattle left. We have really enjoyed coming here. They are quick with booking and you dont have to battle the months and weeks of waiting like you do at some of the Seattle groomers! Alex and his staff were kind and friendly! We have taken our Shih-Tzu here three times and every time he has done great, and come back with a great haircut! Never a problem nor an issue! Their prices are reasonable, and even if somewhat higher than other groomers, being flexible and able to book on the fly makes it worth that extra cost and not having to book months in advance is a huuuuuuge relief! I previously was a pet groomer for the last 12 years, & I get being selective with my clientele, even I was. My problem is that this salon was DISHONEST and that bothers me. I emailed them regarding a quote for my Chihuahua, since I quit grooming a month ago, sold all my stuff & took a different career path. However, I'm moving to the area & I'm being proactive about finding a groomer since I know groomers can book out, and I ACTUALLY need a groomer now since I no longer do so. I gave them a completely honest disclosure about how my dog can act, he is 10 years old & can be aggressive for his bath but otherwise he is really good for table work, no health issues etc. I let them know in the email that I would have to bathe him & dry him before he came in, and they would just have to do the haircut, and I asked if they could accommodate this. They emailed me back and said they currently are not accepting new senior clients. That's great, no problem totally understand. What I DON'T appreciate is that my friend who was also in the same boat as me is looking for a new groomer also reached out to this place and she also has a 10 year old dog and an 8 year old dog. They offered her an appointment for her dogs upon her asking what their availability looked like, so CLEARLY they are take new senior clients. I told her that they told me they weren't accepting seniors, so this left a sore taste in both of our mouths & she will not be taking her dogs there. The craziest part is in their email back to her, they said they do not accept aggressive dogs. While I would definitely be doing the part that makes him "aggressive" before he came in, they could have easily told me that they do not accept aggressive dogs or that they can't accommodate me bathing him first, which I would have totally respected, every business has their own rules! I think that they did not want to deal with either a client that previously has been a groomer in the fear that I would be too picky (no, I'm not) or they just didn't want to deal with me dog. Either way, I would have respected this business a lot more if they were just honest, and I think people should know that. read more

Our elderly pup has been groomed at Puppy Bubbles 2 or 3 times now and they have been great every time! She always is in good spirits and looks so pretty! I took her back again today and she wasn't being a good girl, trying to bite! The owner was so kind in explaining all they tried to do (multiple groomers, calming her, etc) and he expressed concern that she might be in pain when he picked her up. This level of care is so wonderful, even if grooming today didn't work out. The owner advised some things to check and ask our vet. I appreciate so much their kindness and the intuitive nature the groomers have with the pups. Not a perfect outcome today but they handled the situation perfectly. I truly do not understand how this place has such good reviews when they lack any semblance of professionalism. When I dropped off my 5 month old puppy, Leo, to get groomed, I was told that it would take a couple hours. It was around 11am when I dropped him off so I expected for him to be done by around 1pm. I was running some errands and around 1:50pm, almost 3 hours later, I went back to see if he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived, the employee said "oh he's not done yet! What're you doing here??" This confused me because it had almost been 3 hours, when I was originally told "a couple hours". I asked how much longer it would be, so I know whether to go home or stay and wait (I live 20 min away) and he said it'd be an additional 45-50 min and that he'll give me a call once he's 15 min from being done. I decided to go pick up food for Leo, since he hadn't eaten yet and come back at the 15-minutes-remaining mark. Not even 10 min later, I get a TEXT (not a call like I was advised before). When I arrived at the grooming place, I was greeted by a scared and trembling puppy. I asked how Leo was and one of the employees very rudely called him "a pain in the a**". I was extremely taken aback from her nasty comment. She is supposed to be a professional and know how to deal with a puppy in a completely new environment surrounded by strangers. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and consideration the employees really let me down. I just hope it doesn't traumatize him too much. Needless to say, I would not recommend coming here. read more

Long-term client of Puppy Bubbles (3+ years) with a older Pomeranian (Hiro). Puppy Bubbles is under new management however you can still expect the same easy to access location, friendly service, consistent cuts, great-quality and care, efficient scheduling and the prices align with area standards. The talented groomers & staff give a consistent cut, the quality is great and his groomer takes care to make the experience as stress free for Hiro as possible! The new owners are doing right by their clients and staff. They retained the groomers from previous ownership so Hiro still has the same stylist he's had for the past few years - which is a relief because he does not adjust to change very well and it's a pain to establish with a new groomer and hope they fit. Responses to email and calls are quick (emails I sometimes get back within an hour). The front desk staff policy is "communication forward" and texted me during the severe winter weather advisory ahead of my appointment letting me know they were still operating and offering to reschedule if needed. This was very appreciated. We loved Becca so much and are sad she's no longer the owner but am satisfied with the service and experience of the new owners. Left my 8 month old golden retriever at Puppy Bubbles for a shampoo and grooming appointment. They called me just 20 minutes later to report my puppy was injured and bleeding on her upper back leg. They said the bleeding would not stop. I returned immediately. They showed the area where she was bleeding, and absurdly suggested that she could have had some kind of cyst that burst, but that was not true. They never explained what actually happened. The puppy had no previous injury before she went there. How it happened while in their care remains unexplained. We definitely won't go back. read more

I've been taking my Havanese to Puppy Bubles for 6 months. I love them! They're experienced, do great haircuts, and always check for problems. They even informed me about my dog's early ear infection! Our vet confirmed this! They're also good with time management. The only downsides are that they don't work weekends or afternoons, but it's worth it for the quality of service. I highly recommend them! read more

Went there with my golden doodle 3 times. First two times were great. The third time was very upsetting. They called and said she had matts and needed to cut her 1/4 inch. I said ok but had no idea what that really meant. They shaved her and when I went to pick her up I was shocked. She was brushed daily but as she's a young puppy and I'm a new dog owner I would have appreciated some warning about what to expect. They weren't very apologetic in fact somewhat rude and said they warned me.. but really all they said was 1/4 inch. Not enough warning for new pet owner. Now looking for another groomer. Great service for my fur babies!!! Unfortunately one of them has been banned for life because she didn't behave very well and they won't take her back even with a puppy xanax prescribed by the vet. :( They are really hard to get ahold of too. You can call and leave a message with your number but they take forever to get back with you. However the staff is very nice when you go in and they are GREAT with pomeranians because the owner has them herself. They always come back so soft and fluffy read more

Puppy Bubbles is under new ownership. Nothing was mentioned on the facebook page or when I emailed for an appointment. There was nothing on the door either. Normally something like that is announced. That is not why I am giving a negative review though (but the lack of disclosure is a pet peeve of mine). The inside was bare walls and all new staff. Nothing homey or comforting about the place anymore. I decided to give them an opportunity in any case. They were quicker than estimated but things with my dog were different and unsettling. I have a 114 pound Great Bernese and they had trimmed her fur around her ears/crown and shoulders. A light trim but not welcome and had never been done before there, additionally She did not have the same smell to her. The conditioner they have always used in the past was remarkable. It smelled great and made the grooming last 6 weeks or so. I can't tell if it was not used at all or just sparingly but the result is not the same. The most unsettling thing was how my dog was acting when I arrived to pick her up. She was almost frantic. Barking and repeatedly rushing the gate. Even though I was plainly in sight and was talking to her. She has NEVER acted like that before. We will not be returning. read more

"When are you going to get your dog neutered." At 9AM in a Monday morning, after dropping off our dog Kody at 7AM, this is the question I was asked by the owner of the salon. Our 10-month old Samoyed is still very much a puppy, and yes, he barks and is very social and gets overwhelmed in situations when there are many other dogs. We had gone 5-6 times, and just about every time there would be some snarky, indirect remark. "Your dog sure barks a lot". "We have neighbors and I don't want them to complain". So every time I ended up dreading the next time, and finally this morning when Rebecca, the owner, asked - "when are you going to get him neutered" - I told her that we would not come back, and asked her to give us the name of another groomer, which she did. This was very poorly handled on their part, from my perspective. Yes, our dog is a puppy, is social, and is active. But - you just don't chastise the dog and the client and make your clients feel "guilty" every time they come see you. You suggest something, even maybe tell them - "look, I'm sorry but we can't handle Kody, we love him and he's a sweet dog, but we are just not set up for a dog like him". But to ask a dog owner when they are going to neuter their dog? At a place that claims to take care of dogs? Seriously? We will not be going back. I regret it, and it took four or five times of repeated indirect complaints on the part of the owner - but this morning is the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back. read more

I took Maple in for a bath and cut the other day and was super happy (as always) with the results. I will never use this place ever again. I used to take my dog here until one early morning appointment I missed because my son was ill. I called and they said fine and rescheduled. I picked up my dog was from that appointment and told me I owe for missing the last appointment. No warning. I emailed the owner to explain and she claimed I hung up on her. At the time, I worked in mortgage and picked up my phone for a living. She clearly either dialed the wrong number or we were disconnected. The thing that was the worst is how quickly she became angry in the email and when I was politely asking why I had to pay for the missed appointment. I don't wish for any business to go out in this time, but wow, what a terrible owner. read more

I started going to Puppy Bubbles 6 years ago with old dogs and have morphed into new very hairy dogs and couldn't be happier! I have a sheepadoodle fluffy dog and a Terrier. Because my dog is long fluffy hair she needs a lot of grooming both at home and by the stylists at PuppyBubbles! If you don't care for your babies their hair matt's and you have a mess. You can't blame the groomers. The care at this salon is pure LOVE! They talk about all the dogs there like they are their kids. They know all their personalities too. My little Terrier can be naughty and I know it. I always say as soon as he is done I will come and they assure me he is fine. That's love people. He has to be with the big dog so he goes every other week as well. They are my kids and they get the best care always! Puppy Bubbles is the BEST! Becca replied to my email inquiry with several days and times for appointments and was helpful and friendly. Brought my pup in, Becca and team filed her unruly COVID nails and expressed her glands, took 8 minutes. Work as expected and was happy with the whole experience, you get the sense that Becca cares about her pet clients and does everything to make them comfortable. By way of background, I have a 4y/o golden doodle that is very well tempered and socialized. He has been getting groomed every 2 months for years. Prior to puppy bubbles we had the same groomer for 2 years before she retired-- no issues were ever reported. Prior to that, we had the same groomer for over a year before we moved--again no problems. I'm super laid back when it comes to a groom-- and I told them it was fine to shave him if needed because some extra time lapsed since our last groom appointment and I had Covid and wasn't on top of my normal brushing schedule. I dropped my pup off and he was done 80 minutes later. He was mostly shaved which again was fine with me. The owner then told me that because my dog pulled his paws up when they were grooming his legs so he wouldn't be welcomed back. My dog had just met this lady in an entirely new environment and being uncomfortable and lifting his legs on his first groom was enough to veto him? She said it had to do with how big he is, but he is only 40 pounds. They then proceeded to charge me $170 for the shave, which was pretty shocking as I've never paid more than $100 for a groom. My mistake I guess for not getting price details upfront. Can't help but feel extremely upset and ripped off. You've been warned. read more

My dog is not a very trusting dog. But Wendy is like a dog whisperer considering how she can clean his ears and face area so well. I have a 25 lb 15 year old shih tzu and the past 2 years have been spot on with his haircuts. He normally hates being dropped off at other groomers and always has this "Mama please don't leave me here" look on his face but when I drop him off he follows Wendy right in like he knows it's time for business. I pay $75 for an all over puppy cut + $5 for poodle paws (it's when they cut the hair really clean between the paw pads and nails) The poodle paws are great because my dog only goes potty outside and so when it's muddy outside there's a lot less yucky stuff on his paws coming back into the house. The price may seem a little steep (considering his haircut is almost 3 times mine) but it's worth the peace of mind knowing my little man feels safe with the groomer and the haircut quality is great every time. They do have a doggy daycare I think it's $15 for 5 hours or less and $25 for all day. The haircuts are usually 1-2 hours and booking can be done through email. I definitely recommend anyone to come here read more

So I know I wrote a 5-star review before, but I just HAD to follow up. I picked my dog up from Puppy Bubbles yesterday around 4:45 pm. She'd been at the doggie daycare for about 4 hours. I realize I'm sort of obsessed with my dog, but for those of you who also might be obsessed with yours... this review will be helpful :) My dog was really excited to see me, but not in a panicky, get-me-out-of-here sort of way. Just like she had happy energy and was excited to see her BFF. We walked home and she was still very chipper. Then, at home, she was more happy and playful than I remember her being... as if her day had just been so fun that she was still excited from it. She was happier than she is even after the dog park or a long walk! Is this weird to notice or care about? Probably. But I love my dog. Thanks, Puppy Bubbles for taking such good care of my dog! I have looked at a number of places to have my new puppy (cockapoo) groomed and on occasion daycare when I cannot come home over lunch.
