They agreed to a specific cut for my friend's dog, but didn't deliver on what was promised not even 50% close to what was agreed upon. When she room the dog out of the shop I couldn't believe my eyes. I told her to ask for a refund, When she asked for a refund or a compromise, they outright refused. My friend was basically scammed here and had to visit multiple times, trying in vain to find a solution. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This place is not worth the hassle. Bellevue pet spa demanded I pay more than an agreed price for service, then refused to return my dog until I gave them the money. Avoid this business. Do not trust them with your dog. I had been taking my dog to Bellevue Pet Spa for 2+ years without problem until a month ago. They ran 90+ minutes late in getting my dog back to me, which forced me to take a meeting with a VP from their parking lot, and the haircut they gave my dog was terrible. Long tufts of hair stuck out from between her toes, her arm pits, her undercarriage - it looked like a 6th grader had groomed my dog. I asked them if they would make it right. They said they would, but it took a month to schedule because they closed for 4 days, kept dropping me off their email responses, + my kid got an ear infection and my car broke down - life happens. But we finally got the touch up rescheduled. When I showed up, they asked what I was in for. I said to fix the last bad haircut. They said ok. Then when I came back for my dog, they wanted to charge full price. I was floored. The appointment had been scheduled on an email thread where they'd promised a free touch up. I even reiterated that this is what I was there for at dropoff and they said they understood. But then at pickup they wanted to charge full price for fixing their own mistakes? It took minutes of arguing with them before they said the best they could do was offer a 50% discount. They claimed their touch up policy has a 14-day window, something that was never mentioned until pickup. They claimed they'd tried to call my wife 3 times to schedule, but my wife had never received a phone call. When I told them this needed to be free or I wouldn't come back, they told me I wasn't welcome back. When I asked if I could have my dog back, they refused to return my dog until I paid what at this point felt like a ransom. I was standing there thinking, "Who do I call when my groomer kidnaps my dog? Do I call the police for that? What if I walk out the door? Would they send my dog to a pound?" But I also knew I had a child to pick up from daycare and couldn't waste more time with these crooks. So I paid their extortion and left. Don't trust this business with your dog. You never know when they'll demand a sudden price increase if you ever want to see your dog again. read more

I have two Yorkies that I've been bringing there fairly regularly. Last few times have been just awful. They pretty much zebra striped My dogs face not cutting either side just right down the center...but they charged me for three services that I did not get including 2 nail trims which I paid more for them to grind the nails..which they also did not do.... We were so happy to be able to find this place. We booked the groom online, uploaded vaccination records, before pictures and what we wanted our pup to look like. We recently moved from the east coast and our Shih Tzu is regularly groomed and this process made everything so simple. The owner called me immediately after I posted all the information on her website to address my questions about appointments and cuts. She also said there was parking which is a plus for us and it's near Bellevue Square! We dropped our pup off an hour earlier on a Saturday and the groomer was super busy! Her receptionist dad is no nonsense and checked us in. Our dog was nervous which is to be expected. We had given her our pictures of our dog earlier and she came out to quickly chat before taking our dog in. We told her receptionist dad to call when they were ready and it really wasn't a rush. He called maybe a little over three hours later and we picked our pup up. We love our dog's cut and for the price..it's totally worth it. I think of the shop as no frills but good work! She did a great job with his face and the length is great! She is a new business owner trying to get her business up and running. It is admirable to see her dad helping out! After the incident, Bellevue Pet Spa merely bandaged Rocky's wound and asked us to take him away without even apologizing. They also said there was no need to go to the hospital and that the hospital couldn't help Rocky. My wife and I took Rocky to the hospital ourselves. The doctor said the wound was deep and long for a miniature dog, a serious injury that might have been infected. Fortunately, we brought him in time. I was very scared and angry when I heard this. I was scared because it was terrifying to leave our speechless family member in a place that didn't care or take responsibility. We almost lost our child. I was angry because four days have passed and there has been no formal apology. The medical expenses we paid have not been reimbursed either (there were also some disgusting things that happened, I'll tell you later for your judgment). We have decided to sue Bellevue Pet Spa. It doesn't seem fair to leave a bad review for a business that is obviously trying its very best to provide an honest service during these challenging times. Unfortunately, when our dog comes home traumatized and depressed from a grooming, in contrast to glowing reviews from our dog owning friends who highly praise the owner and her work, how can I not at least say a few words? Having grown up around dogs it seems they each have their own personality and needs. For the year that we have had our current dog, she has been an example of patience and calm with every care provider and groomer we have taken her to. Yet when we dropped her off at Bellevue Day Spa, groomer/owner Michelle didn't seem to have a moment to calmly discuss with my wife what needed to be done for our dog. When my wife called to follow up and see why the appointment ran almost an hour over time with no contact from the salon, Michelle claimed she couldn't hear my wife with dogs barking loudly in the background, and that our dog was very anxious while being locked up in a crate for an extended period of time. When we picked up our dog, it was clear that she had damaged her teeth on the metal bars of the crate Michelle had locked her in. It seems that Michelle needs to schedule her workload better so that she can welcome all dogs to her spa in a calm and confident manner. When we picked our dog up, she left it to another groomer and her father to discuss the experience. It seems I can't recommend this pet spa. read more

For the past year, we've taken Bonbon in 1-2x a month, always on time and picked him up within 30 minutes of receiving the pick up call. The prices are reasonable, spa is clean, and the receptionist Allyson was always ready friendly (we haven't seen her since the new receptionist Kristine started). However, customer service has declined over the last several months. For our Sept 2021 appointment, I called to change it from 1 PM to 11:30 AM. Bonbon's grooms usually take 2.5-3 hours, so I came back at 2:30 PM to wait in the parking lot. His groom wasn't finished until 4 PM (almost 5 hours). Turns out the receptionist Kristine never adjusted the appointment time, which she apologized for. Fast forward to our Jan 2022 appointment, which was at 9 AM. We arrived a few minutes prior to opening so we waited outside. Once it was 9 AM, I knocked on the door. The owner Michelle came out and said "We don't open until 9 AM. Our team isn't ready yet." and shut the door on us. Not a good morning or thanks for your patience. Her team came out a few minutes later and apologized that their clock in the back was wrong. For a business that always sends out "We don't accept late appointments" texts, you would think they would also respect their clients' time. When we picked him up that day, he was not happy and his face was also uneven. We don't really know what happened during his appointment, but we won't be returning. I'd rather support another small business that appreciates their clients. :( read more

Favorite groomers for my little puppy. He always looks fresh and clean with good grooming done. They are always friendly and my puppy especially adores them so it is a huge bonus. The place is bright and a big window where you can see the grooming done. They always cut evenly throughout my puppy and he hasn't yet to get any cuts after seeing them. It is a big trust to leave your puppy to get groomed but I definitely do trust them. They fill up fast so always schedule a month ahead. I always schedule for the following month whenever I drop him off. read more

I scheduled 2 appointments for my dogs . A bath abs blow dry..brush out , no cut I have a Wheaten Terrier and a Whoodle. She shaved , not cut , my wheaten legs spotty . Looks like a hatchet job! We went in for a hair cut for our dog for the first time. His haircut was fine but his face was uneven. We took him back for a quick trim on his face. They seemed annoyed and mentioned that our dog wouldn't sit still and didn't want his face cut. They said that they will take a look and make few adjustments. When I went to pick him up, they shaved his entire face. I'm devastated beyond belief. I have never imagined that our dog can look like this. They turned their frustration bringing him back in and shaved his entire face. He is a Cavapoo and he should not have his face like this. When you $100 for a dog grooming appointment, the breeders should take better care of then what they did to our sweet dog.
