As a rescue who needed a full hip replacement and has a history of neglect, she has higher needs than the average dog. However, after Winnie's previous boarding and training experience resulted in neglect, I was incredibly hesitant and anxious about trusting anyone new with her. We were so fortunate that Angell MSPCA recommended ADG to us. Winnie is such a special dog, and as her mom, I want to give her the very best. From day one, ADG has gone above and beyond to earn not only Winnie's trust but mine as well. Even after spending so much time with them, they continue to show the same level of care, compassion, and professionalism every single day. One of the things that sets ADG apart is how attentive they are to every dog's individual needs. They don't take a one-size-fits-all approach. However, I was very surprised when I asked what a typical full daycare day actually looks like. I was told the dogs play for about 1 1/2 hours in the morning, are then crated for approximately 3 hours, play another 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon, and are then crated for another 3 hours. If they're still there around 5:00 p.m., they're taken outside for a potty break before pickup. For me, that was shocking. I completely understand that dogs need rest periods, but I wasn't expecting that the majority of a full daycare day would be spent in a crate. My dogs are rarely crated at home, so this wasn't the right environment for them, especially considering the cost. I'm sharing this because I think it's an important question that many people may not think to ask. Before enrolling your dog, ask exactly what a full daycare day consists of and how much time your dog will actually be playing versus being crated. That information made my decision immediately, and I chose not to leave my dogs there.

Michelle completely shaved my dog from head to tail as close as she could. She was absolutely NOT told to do this. All my dog used to get was a typical cut and did not have a coat that would ever be shaved. She had said in the past that she didn't like my dog and I believe that is why she did this to her. My poor dog was so distraught when she came out and was not herself for days. It was so upsetting and I have not forgotten this all these years. She is not a groomer that can be trusted.

Im a very protective and research person when making a decision. Olympia Kennels was a word of mouth one and got a lot of positive feedback. I knew immediately when I met Mike and his team it was the place. However I didn't know on day one how amazing this journey would be. To some have multiple pups at the same time most trainers are judgemental and not supportive of this hard journey my family has taken on and we are very capable of. Mike has stood by his word and taken care and taught my family and my pups who are 1.5 years old. They stayed with Mike for 6 weeks at 8months old and taught them a great foundation. He even stood by his word and when we had a minor behavior issue with one of my boys he took him right back and worked with him asap and made immediate room for our need. there nothing like the feeling of knowing your furbaby is in good hands. kathy and matt are so…read morepassionate about all the dogs that come into there doggy day care facility. there hours are amazing and work with the most craziest schedules. kathy at times has been flexible as well sometimes even coming in early to accommodate us. my dog yeti comes home happy and tuckered out from a fun day of play with all types of other dogs big and small. they have a fenced in large backyard area as well as an area for snacks and rest time. the indoor play room is two levels with plenty of room. the place is extremely clean and organized. everyday kathy greets us with a huge smile , you can tell she absolutely just loves what she does. i enjoy the weekly pictures and videos she sends me so i can see what my dogs doing. i have tried other facilities this is by far the best place.
