I will most definitely badly review places so I can warn people of terrible experiences. The good ones, I always try and report as well because we all want to know the bottom line on where to go. With this place I was nervous because with my pets I'm protective and picky. There was a wait to get in but the reviews made me do just that. I'm happy to report this establishment didn't disappoint. It's attractive for sure but that's not the deciding factor in any way. Aside from first visual impression which is above board as far as cleanliness and beauty...the first impression of the staff was also wonderful. They were knowledgeable and welcoming. The end result was a perfect series of cuts (I have multiple dogs of different breeds) and I loved that the first step in their spa day, which is a bath...is in an area where you can watch through a glass wall. It's clear the salon is run well and I'm personally not going to skimp on care and skill to go up the street to a chain establishment to save a few dollars for my dogs...who are most definitely family members. If you are concerned about safety..competence as well as final result and you aren't looking for a cheap fix...this place is perfect. They aren't over priced..but they aren't Walmart either. Meanwhile, half the tanks in the store had dead fish floating around, so maybe focus on your own fish care first. The woman working there insisted I "needed" at least 6 neon tetras, even after I explained I already have 3 black tetras and the neon tetras I already own literally came from THEIR store. Felt less like actual advice and more like a push to sell me another 3-5 overpriced $15 fish I didn't want or need. On top of that, the employees acted like customers were interrupting their social hour. Barely helpful, rude attitudes, and completely ignorant customer service. If you hate helping people that much, maybe retail and animal care isn't the job for you. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

He takes his time & he & his sister pick the hamster, I go & ask the woman working to help us & she asks about the habitat we have, I explain that we have a HUGE habitat at home & how I've done extensive research on hamsters & I'm aware they need deep burrows etc. She refuses to sell it to me, which I thought was extreme, since the conditions in which they are kept in the store are horrid. I go outside & call another Petco asking if its allowed & they tell me that no, she shouldn't refuse to sell me a hamster! For all she knows a customer can tell her what she wants to hear, I actually showed her the home i bought from petco btw, but now she said because it's wire cage so I explain that I'll make a habitat with a bin like she explained & still she openly refused to sell him to us, it's getting later, I had to drive 25 miles to nashua on empty & finally got him a hamster which btw, is living large. But who does she think she is? She also walked away from me in mid-sentence to help another customer who had interrupted us, and never came back over!

First time taking my dog here and will most definitely be the last of i could give this place 0…read morestarts i definitely would , i have been trying out different groomers for my dog for a few of her grooming's now but i have never experienced what i have with this location ... my dog was booked for a appointment weeks in advance for a full grooming service at 8:30 am , now i understand that there is no set timing on how long it takes to groom a dog but please keep in mind my dog is very tiny and barely 50lbs, they ended up taking over 6 WHOLE HOURS to groom my dog for a 8:30AM appointment my poor baby had not eaten for that whole time, i ended up picking her up at about close to 3:00pm that day. I have brought to her to multiple groomers since her last permanent groomer and i have never had any of them take such a large amount of time to groom her like this on top of it all she was trimmed very unevenly and over all horribly , She also tends to get Tear stains in the eye which usually get removed by the groomer as much as they can and i got her back with her eyes pretty much the same very dark and stained not much done to them, overall a very unpleasant experience and for the price that was paid ($100.00) it was definitely NOT worth it.Won't be retuning or recommending anyone here in the future. ****HAD TO UPDATE MY REVIEW BECAUSE I CAN NOT RESPOND TO THE OWNERS COMMENT below******* ... but there is absolutely no excuse on why a dog should take 6 hours to groomed and i was the one who called you around about 2:15 that afternoon you told me Chanel would have been ready in 45 minutes after our call at 2:15 so it was not that that's when i could make it there it's because that's what was told to me over the phone at that time . That is something that you should take accountability for as a owner to make sure your groomers aren't over booking their clients my mom was 100% unaware that this would take 5+ hours because if that was the case we wouldn't have called as many times as we did to check up on her & we most likely wouldn't have brought her to you at all & she was also unaware of the fact that you were going to shave her she discusses a trimming with you and another thing My mom came in at 12:00pm to pick up Chanel and you never said anything about it taking an extra 4 HOURS your professionalism is terrible take some accountability because after reading through half of your reviews I'm clearly not the first or the last person this is going to happen to, she has gone to PROFESSIONAL places with more dogs and they have done way better work and taken way less time with her , at the end of the day the price does not matter to me it's the quality and you took hours with my dog to make her look like a shaved rat with no type of effort to even clean her tear stains something that every other groomer i have taken her to to does with no complaints or EXCUSES do better Angela because i don't see your business lasting much longer i will make sure to tell everyone i know about your professionalism it's disgusting clearly your the one who cares only about the money in this situation and on top of it all trying to make your clients look like liars isn't a good look either again take some accountability.
