I informed her that he was a senior dog, enucleated OU (both eyes removed), and he takes a sedative so he would be more calm for the grooming. She said it would be fine , as long as he was up to date with all his vaccines. We understood and scheduled an appointment with them. When my sister arrived, the groomer Jesus immediately declined service. His reasoning was he didn't feel comfortable because of the dog age and being blind. He looked at him disgustingly. It's upsetting because all this information was disclosed over the phone beforehand. It was just a big waste of time. Learn how to communicate better and don't be disrespectful to new possible clients.

I called and was able to get an grooming appointment for my boo, Milo within the week which was great. Most places have a longer scheduling period. My appointment was at 9AM and we were the first one to get service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Their facility was very clean and animal friendly. Of course, my sweet Milo cried and didn't want to stay and I was concerned he would be difficult during his grooming. I was asked how I wanted his cut and informed them. I was told to return within 2 to 3 hours. Honestly, I was a bit anxious as a fairly new pet owner leaving my young dog. LOL I returned 3 hours later and my sweet Milo was chilling in the crate looking dapper and fine. I saw the groomer taking care of another dog and she was very patient and attentive. The groomer stated Milo was a "good" boy and just nervous during the grooming session, whew. This was one of the best grooming's he's had and very affordable. I will definitely bring Milo back for some TLC.

She has cut his whole back half plus his ears and front feet, plus he got a bottom half bath - never thought he would let anyone else touch him! Larissa is so careful with him; everything is slow, he gets lots of treats for smelling the scissors and letting her snip, smell and snip, very slow. We go in together and get the job done. When one has a pet like mine, finding partners in his care is essential to securing his future. We have a regular vet, a behavior vet, a KPA certified trainer, and now Larissa, who helps us ensure our boy doesn't look like a little ragamuffin like he did when we rescued him, and helps us teach him not all humans are mean and can actually be really helpful.
