They did a phenomenal job on my poodle! However, I don't know if I will be returning due to the cost of this place. They charge $110 for a standard poodle, where I've taken him in the past has been between $65-80. However, the work they did was so great and Steve was so friendly, I may just bite the bullet and pay the $110. What I did not approve of was extra charges that should have been communicated with me prior. Such as extra fees for dematting and to hold him down since he is hyper. Although I do understand, I think the groomer should've called or texted approving the extra charges before, instead of just telling me upon arrival. read more

This was my 8 month old Pekingnese's first grooming session. Chuy (short for Chewbaca) is an agressive, over excited, male that we are getting ready to neuter. Steve was kind, calm and gentle with him, all the things we were expecting. I showed him a picture of the puppy cut we wanted for Chuy and he nailed it. The wait time was NOT long at all, we brought him in at 9am and got him back at 11:00am. He was not distressed in any way. Steve explained every step of the process he took with our puppy. I will not give one star to this place. I called in advance to ask how much they would charge me for my dog (mix chihuahua) to get his nails trimmed, and the man said around $10-$20 depending on his size. I asked if I can be inside the salon as well and he said yes. So when I get there I called and the man walked outside and told me to just hand him my dog and to wait outside. My dog had his muzzle as well. He said my dog peed on me and I said maybe he is nervous. As I'm waiting outside I can hear my dog yelling and crying. Normally I take him to a pet spa in Norco and he does great. I could not see the man at all since there was a wall blocking. So I opened the door and asked if everything was okay. When he finished, my dog looked very scared and terrified as if he was hurt. The man said he does bad and peed and pooped. Then he said it was $20. I asked him why was he yelling and crying like that, it's not okay. And he stayed quiet. Not only did he charge me $20 but most of his nails were not even trimmed! read more

Brought Baby, our adopted old lady, here for her first grooming since the pandemic started and she was in desperate need. She had mats and her nails were overgrown (she never let me near them with the clippers), and my poor attempts at home haircutting left her looking like a rag mop, poor thing. But what a transformation! They did a fantastic job. I almost couldn't believe she was the same dog! She was so cute, clean, and she looked like a puppy again. I would take my dogs there when I lived in Whittier but the last couple of times they did not trim the nails all the way down, which I understand if they did not want to cut the nerve, but I started to notice that they seemed to become afraid of getting their nails clipped and when I would take them I would sometimes spend 6 hours waiting which is fine as long as they are being cared for properly, but since they do not allow people in I could never tell, and my dogs always seemed scared afterwards. They were terrified to go there. The guy there was super nice, but if you do walk ins you should consider how long it will take, and if you have aggressive dogs (such as my chihuahuas) consider going somewhere with more employees and with the ability to watch and maybe even soothe them. read more
