Summary: I got a great system for a great price. The best part was it was installed the same day. I also get lifetime service for free, I just pay for filters. I did my homework and Puragain seemed to be the best choice for my whole house filtration and reverse osmosis system. I used Yelp to reach out for an appointment and within 2 days they responded. They were able to set up a visit for the following Monday. I got a notification with a picture, that my outside sales and water specialist, Connor, was in route and on time. Connor is a super nice guy that came out of the hospitality industry which makes him nice and not pushy. Connor adjusted his presentation since I had already done my homework. The key for me was that I wanted my RO filters on the other side of the kitchen wall where I have a built in BBQ island and space for the filters. Connor sent video to his office to confirm they could do my tricky install. Now, the best part: Connor tells me I can get installed today. My installer, Gabriel, showed up and by 5pm that day I had filtered water throughout the house and a RO alkaline tap in the kitchen. Gabriel had to run some copper pipe and his plumbing work was super tidy and clean. When he finished, I painted the pipes to match the house. We can tell from showers and drinking that we have a nice system. I would recommend the system to others and feel we got a quality system, service package and price. I had high hopes for the whole home water filtration and RO system I had installed. Was promised a list of things the system would do such as no hard water spots, no more dry skin, water you can drink from the faucet even though I really wouldn't etc. The system has yet to do any of the things they claimed and promised it would. I have had 3 service calls for them to come out and each time they 'make adjustments' and tell me the problem is fixed and it's not. I have called Puragain several times asking for a call back regarding what my options are or to have the system removed. No one has returned my calls to address my concerns. The absolute worst purchase we have ever made as a home owner. They talk a real good game just like any sales team does. They have made at least 6 to 7 trips out to our home and still haven't been able to get it right. Always has excuses and points fingers at the pervious service tech that came out. It has been either they installed the wrong filters or just wasn't educated about the product. They drained my water softener on my lawn which killed a spot of my grass. I had them out last time to simply uninstall the system and give us a refund. They talked us into keeping it and we still haven't seen improvement. Excuse is now that it takes time to work and its flushing out all the bad stuff in the pipes. Well the system now has blew up our heating elements in our 2 year old water heater and there is so much sediment in the water heater we are going to have to replace it. its honestly a scam and will continue to write reviews until we get a full refund. We got this system in North Texas a couple of weeks ago. We wanted a water system that didn't take up a ton of room in the garage and didn't have the slimy "super soft water" feeling. We replaced our home salt water softening system that was on the blitz with the Puragain whole house system (which is not salt based) and we love it so far. The entire system is very expensive upfront at $4899. However, our trusted plumber gave us a quote on a new salt system with conditioning system (to remove chlorine) for over $10,000. The chlorine was damaging our salt system and also caused some corrosion to our tankless water heater. Compared to ten grand, Puragain sounded like the better investment. The Puragain system does not require electricity or salt to maintain (we had to keep adding salt pellets to our system a few times each year). It will also not waste hundreds of gallons of water each week as salt systems do. And since the system is already purifying the water, we won't need to keep replacing our refrigerator water filter ($75 every 3-4 months)! If you add up all of those hidden costs without the Puragain system, the cost of the annual filter replacements (around $200 - $300 per year depending on how hard your water is etc), ends up being around $24 a month. Puragain will come out and replace the filters for free, albeit we have to pay for the actual filters. That actually adds up to less money out of pocket each month. The part I love the most is the reverse osmosis alkaline drinking water system they threw in as a bonus. This is the BEST tasting water, comparable in taste to Kirkland bottled water. We will not have to buy bottled water ever again as nothing really compares to how good this water tastes. It makes our coffee taste better as well. Do your research. We have had the full package water filtration system from Puragain Water for a few months now. In the full package, we received a full house filter, an additional filter for our kitchen sink, and an alkaline filter with its own separate tap by the kitchen sink. The whole process has been seamless, and the entire team of people we have talked to or met have been knowledgeable, had great customer service, and they have not come off pushy in any way. For our installation, we had Mike Rinaldi, help us out. I highly recommend requesting Mike for the installation, as he does a terrific job, is friendly and explains everything through the installation process, and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have. We had a small leak on the installation of the house filter after a few months of no problems, and when we let them know, Mike was here the next day to fix the minor issue. The best part about this was that we had no additional cost for the repair. Overall, the value you get for the price is completely worth it. I have decided to remove the under sink filter but keep the whole house filter, we use a brita pitcher anyway. Called on 11/3/25 was to receive a call back to schedule the removal. Called again on 11/6/25 to schedule the removal. It is now 11/9/25 and they still have not called back.
