I had Jason with Plumbing Plus come out to my house yesterday to check on my hot water heater. The pilot light was continually turning off causing cold showers for us! He came out without charge to look at the problem, clean the burners and inspected the gas lines and relite the pilot light. As of today, the pilot is staying lit and we have hot water! Exceptional service provider. I asked them to come by to do some routine maintenance on two tankless water heaters. Once I saw the quality of the work I expanded the assignment to include several other tasks from my "Honey dew" list. The tech/plumber, David, did exceptional work, and left everything spotless. He installed a new fixture in a garage work area (photo). He also improved the water flow and adjusted the hot water balance to improve functionality. Pros: communication is great. guys are super nice, professional, and organized. took time to inspect the need and repair the estimate. Cons: estimates are beyond ridiculous. it was a waste of time. they took so much time to inspect the entire house even though all i needed is to get a faucet replaced in my guest bathroom and a water chiller installed. i am still in shook of the estimate i received. managers need to QC some of these estimates. i received $1,700 estimate to install 3 x 1/2"x3/8" angle valve, install a faucet (i supplied it) and install a water chiller that i supplied. i do not know who pays these numbers. i got another company that charged 20% of their estimate. David and Cole replaced 4 facuets and 10 1/4 stops. They showed up on time and did a terrific job. They kept us up to speed with progress as we left to run erronds. Exceptional Service provider. They are a bit expensive. But you get what you pay for, a terrific job from start to finish. This is the 3rd time I used Plumbing plus and would use them again. UPDATE: We did not realize our guest bathroom facuets that were installed did not extend far enough into the sink (hole location). Master bath facuets were perfect. The guest facets holes were just al little far back. We talked to Christina and Mathew and found a Moen replacement facuets that had a spout length that was 1.5 inches longer. Plumbing Plus was more than happy to replace the facuets (at their cost) with the new ones. Jared Nicholson did a terrific job with the installation. the service performed was an annual water heater service, which was done excellently. and the company has coupons on their website, so if one is available it helps the price greatly. unfortunately, it's the "finding" other things around the house that the plumber "recommends" I do, but are not necessary. Like a whole house water conditioner for $7K, and that was just one recommendation. I understand you may need business, but I need my money to pay for things that "need" to be done; not for things that "could" be done. It would be a 5 star review if you came, did the work and stopped finding things I could do, but that are not needed. read more

clogged kitchen drain .. basic and easy to do . The guy came and worked on it for probably 25 minutes and then lined up all his machines in a row and told me that unfortunately he couldn't unclog the drain and that it would be $1500 to bring in a machine that uses water to unclog. I told him that that wasn't in my budget right now, and his response was "well get used to eating out because your drains won't drain." That was two months ago and everything is draining perfectly. After using Plumbing plus several times this past year we will never use again after this last experience. We were aware that their pricing was higher but this was unacceptable. Charged $710 for exactly two hours of work (almost $500 to install dishwasher that was just replacing the old one, very straightforward job; also replaced two shower heads). Again this was 100% labor charge for both. When asked they said pricing is in our favor because they quoted 3.5 hours of labor and if it went longer we would be advantaged. On top of it they didn't align the dishwasher so now it's uneven and we need to deal with. Absolutely would NOT recommend.
