I had an initial private session with Tara and really enjoyed the experience…read more The studio recommends that students sign up for private instruction before taking a group Pilates class, and they offer a discounted rate for your first 50-minute private session. I'm a total novice at Pilates, so Tara took time to explain proper form and alignment, which I really appreciated. We spent the first part of the session doing mat exercises, and then she led me through some exercises on the Reformer. Tara was friendly, encouraging, and patient, and her explanations were very clear. She adjusted the exercises to my level (absolute beginner), but she also made sure that my form was totally correct, and I'm really grateful for that. Setting up the appointment through the Align website was easy, and I was relieved to find that the studio has its own parking lot, so I didn't have to worry about finding street parking. The studio space is clean, welcoming, and large. I'm looking forward to checking out the group classes at Align and maybe taking some more private sessions.

Another local small fitness business worth supporting! This place is like a small community…read more Everyone makes you feel like family, from the staff to the Cyclestars, all the way up to the owners. If you haven't tried cycling, give this place a try. All the instructors are great. Shoes and towels are provided free of charge. There are changing rooms, showers and lockers to use. The first ride is always free, so come out and give them a try. You will get hooked. And since they share their studio with Pure Barre, there's another fitness option in the same location. Support this local business like we do.

"Do something everyday until it becomes part of you", that's how Briana started one of our classes…read moreand it has literally become my mantra! Joining this team has been one of the best things that has happened to me in a while. I went from not working out for over 3 years to waking up every other day at 4:45 am just to make it to class! Briana is a BEAST. Not only does she push me, but she leaves no team member out! I still have no idea how she knows everyone's name, it's like a one on one but as a whole! I feel invigorated during and at the end of each class! Her playlist is LEGIT and you feel pumped with every beat. She even shares her Spotify playlist, so that if we enjoy a song, we can listen to it for the rest of the day. I have nothing but the best things to say about this facility and every single person who works there. Diane is always willing to help, whether it's by handing out fresh, clean towels to texting me 10 minutes before class to make sure I'm on my way! She's truly so lovely. A great big family is how I can best describe the feeling. It's great to be part of something again, thank you all for slowly getting me back to where I want and am meant to be! Beyond grateful!

This is an organization that does not respect privacy, or people. I called one time to inquire…read moreabout their service, and since then am blanketed by texts and emails about their promotions - several per day. I have clicked the unsubscribe button at the bottom of their emails and texted STOP to their texts, but they do not stop. I have called their office four different times and asked to be removed from their lists, and my calls were dropped, people promised to remove me from the list and didn't, and then when I finally asked to speak to the manager, he said that their emails and texts work as they're supposed to and hung up on me. This place is unprofessional and doesn't know how to treat customers. Beware that if you give them your email and phone number, they will email and text you forever. I've never experienced this kind of callous disregard for privacy or a customer's requests. Don't get involved w them, it's a total headache and really unpleasant.

I did the unlimited trial for 3 weeks at studio 509. Definitely worth the money (currently $50)…read more You get access attend classes both in-person and virtually as well as access to that weeks video recording of classes. I attended over 14 classes by either medium in this time. It was a great way to try out a bunch of classes to see what you like. I am personally not a dancer (beginner) and have done more yoga and there were plenty of options that weren't intimidating. The instructors I met were all very nice and welcoming. I'll include my two cents on each class below- but note as I said I am a beginner dancer and I also did not read the descriptions on the website before booking, i usually signed up through the app. *Fun tip for shy or dancing-intimidated people you can attend classes virtually first (or watch the past recordings for that class prior) if your are unsure of the difficulty level before you sign up for in person. Check the schedule before buying the trial or classes, there are not many afternoon/evening classes especially on the weekend. Pilates - Loved the pilates classes the most, attended several in person. It's not on the reformer machines, its on matts. This was doable and lightly challenging with my existing exposure to yoga. If you have no exposure, as with many of these classes, you'll catch on after a class or two. Dance Fusion - If you are a dancer or were a dancer in the past this is probably the class for you. It's a lot of choreo and you learn a routine during the class, line up in paris or groups and do the routine. Too hard for me but I didnt read the description prior and attended virtually so it was fine. Thrive - This was a fun calm dance class, lots of older ladies there. it incorporates chair yoga, dancing, legs and arms work outs. You can still work up a sweat and get your cardio in but it's not high intensity. Groovefit- I think this was my second favorite class. It gives zumba vibes Totalfit- cardio/aerobics and weights, not too hard. can get sweaty Ballet- I attended 1 session virtually and it was not too hard considering my lack of experience. I think they had people line up in the in-person sessions and do leaps/ sashets one by one etc, I would have been nervous doing that. Overall I had a great time attending classes at Studio 509, this deal was totally worth it. Highly recommend

(Your image needs to be updated.)…read more Every instructor here is magnetic. The classes are fun, and not too challenging. They really cater to their clientele -- older women in the area, but as a 29-year-old getting back into fitness I still found their classes to be fun.
