The staff was very helpful, provided me with a mat and showed me around to what I would need. I was very hesitant and scared but the instructor made it an inviting place offered help and encouragement. It was a very hard class for me personally (I need to work on some core strength before going back) but absolutely worth it! It was a great experience and something fun to try! Its cleanliness, large studio size, awesome teachers, and hospitable staff & owners make all the difference. The teachers are dedicated, knowledgeable, instructive and both serious AND fun! And I've taken all of the classes ONLINE. There is a wide array of classes, times, and teachers. I can honestly say, I'm thrilled with every aspect of Bhakti Barn! I just signed up to become a monthly member. I'm sure it's challenging to teach to the students in the studio and at home simultaneously. It can be challenging for the student at home too. But I'm learning ways to adapt and it's well worth it!

I found this studio via Groupon and I really enjoy the classes. The instructors are great and the space is very welcoming - colors are so vibrant and the staff members are super friendly. I love that there's always hot tea at this location which you can drink prior/after class (so cozy). They have 2 rooms at this location - the Love room (pink & orange) is the one I took classes and it was very spacious and a smaller blue room. They have many different kinds of yoga classes here (Kundalini, Yin, Restorative, Bhakti & etc) and I often found myself treating myself by taking 2 classes when I had time (on the weekends).

I emailed Deb about taking classes and she was very supportive and encouraging. I've been attending Mysore classes twice a week and the improvement has been substantial. I'm now working on intermediate series and I couldn't do half the stuff I can now without her help. I trust her opinion and her recommendations and I appreciate the way she pushes me to do my best but knows when to back off if I'm not ready. I've been practicing at the studio for over a year now and I am a completely different person than when I started. She has been an absolute light in my life and I'm so grateful to have met her. I hope to practice with Deb for as long as possible! I also love the community here. People are so motivated to do what they love and push themselves to be better. Ashtanga isn't for everyone, it's very repetitive and does not fit certain personality types who want the "flow" type yoga.
