The thing I appreciated was her advice to do my hair transformation in two parts. She purposed this idea so that I could see and experience my hair half way short rather than going straight to a full bob and then being stuck with something that I regretted. After 6 weeks of enjoying the first step and feeling no regrets I was so excited for the final cut that ended up being the cutest bob! Madison H clearly understands the importance of her role in helping people like me by giving us what we dream of while being realistic.

She is very talented with what she does and very very attentive to make sure to get you what you want. We always have fun conversations as well. I'm Asian and our hair isn't the easiest to work with. I usually get my hair done when I visit Korea (but then COVID happened) or choose to find a Korean salon here, but I wasn't able to find one in Seattle nearby that lived up to my expectations. I also don't change my hair much - last time I got it chemically treated was almost 3 years ago, which I think makes chemical treatments tricky. Bleaching prior to coloring took a VERY LONG time but Tomoko was very patient with me and made sure we achieved the color I wanted. And despite bleaching for quite a while, I don't feel like my hair was damaged much (if at all). Oh, and oh my god, the head massage while washing my hair was A M A Z I N G. I think it was the best head massage I've ever gotten and I sort of wished I could stay there forever. The salon isn't big, but very well prepped for the pandemic (they check for your temperature prior to entering the salon, ask to wash your hands, everyone wears a mask and currently they don't use a blowdryer to dry your hair to minimize risks - they used a bonnet hood attachment for me) and I felt safe during both my appointments. As for pricing, it definitely isn't cheap but I think the salon lives up to the price and everything is transparent and as listed on their website.

I felt safe and well-taken care of the whole time I was here. I'm so excited to have finally found my hairstylist in Seattle! I can't recommend Berry Berry and Yuka enough.

Olivia began thoroughly washing my hair, with a nice scalp massage too. Once done and in the chair, we then discussed the style being I was looking for: long u shaped with lots of layers and face framing pieces. She used only scissors, no razors. Hair was wet and she sectioned off the hair to blow dry and cut. After she was done cutting, she used a flat iron to show me how to style the layers to make it look fresh and full of volume! I spent over $600 at this salon and left with a haircut and color that were both significantly worse than when I arrived. I was initially recommended to Meg by the salon staff, so I trusted that she was an appropriate stylist for what I was asking for. Unfortunately, she ran out of time during my appointment and rushed through the service. My color was left uneven, and her attempt to correct it with a toner was also rushed. When I got home, my hair was visibly uneven in tone and color. The haircut was shocking. One side was approximately four inches longer than the other, and large sections had been chopped into blunt, uneven pieces despite my explicitly asking for that not to be done. It was so poorly cut that I could not wear my hair down. The appointment itself was also unnecessarily uncomfortable. At one point, two people were drying my hair simultaneously, pulling and tugging in opposite directions. It was painful and felt incredibly rushed and chaotic. Even the products I purchased were incorrect. I was given two conditioners instead of a shampoo and conditioner and had to return to exchange them. I immediately contacted the salon about the haircut and color. I was given another appointment with Meg to address the problems, but the correction made things worse: my hair was darkened several shades beyond what I had requested, while the haircut remained visibly uneven. At that point, I contacted the salon multiple times asking for help resolving the situation. I received no response. I eventually called and was told that my concerns would be discussed and that someone would contact me the following day. That was three days ago. Still nothing. This is what I find most unacceptable. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. I was willing to give this salon a second chance, willing to have them correct the work, and willing to communicate directly to resolve the situation. Instead, after spending more than $600, I was essentially ignored. The combination of poor workmanship and a complete lack of follow-through from the salon is unacceptable at this price point. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you are looking for a salon that stands behind its work and responds when a customer has a legitimate problem.

I paid a lot and tipped very well just for it to look like an amateur cut my hair. Don't come here. I regret coming here as I looked better with my dead ends. I could've cut my own hair better which I have. This was supposed to be a pick me up to make me feel beautiful now 2 days later I am in regret not feeling like how I should and wanted. Sooooo expensive and terrible results. Also they could've been friendlier. I felt she got tired blow drying my hair. They are supposed to be knowledgeable in long, thick hair, curly hair, wavy hair. I wanted to choose this stylist due to her good reviews but I really cannot recommend her or this salon. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I am distraught. The stylist said she would just round out the right side to match the left. I mentioned that I wanted to grow out the left side a bit before having corrections made because I didn't want any more length taken off. She said that that would count as a whole new haircut. Since I just paid for one, I didn't think that "solution" was reasonable at all.

Katya and Meghann did an amazing job on my makeup and hair for my engagement pictures and wedding day! When I first reached out to Katya about doing my makeup for my engagement photos I was a little worried because I have never been able to find someone to do my makeup without my washing my face afterwards. Katya said I will make sure to do it the way you want and if you don't like it, I will re-do it again. I appreciated that very much. However, of course Katya made me look so beautiful the first time around! For my wedding day, she took her time with myself as well as six others from my bridal party and made us all look stunning. After finishing each of our makeup she asked us if we liked it and if there was anything she could add on/change and did everything we asked for (which were all very minor things because she did an amazing job). One thing I kept telling Katya is that she did everyone's eyebrows perfect!! My makeup was still on after 10 hours (4 of which were taking pictures outside in 90 degree weather). Meghhan is so talented with hair. She managed to do hair for myself and 5 others in my bridal party (including putting extensions in for 4 of us) and managed to do exactly what we each asked for! I loved loved loved my hair on my wedding day. We kept calling it my rapunzel hair (she put in 22inch extensions and did this amazing side braid). Everyone at my wedding complimented on how beautiful it looked. My bridal party and myself were all very pleased at how our hair turned out! I don't know how I was so lucky to randomly find these two online (they had just started the Bridal Beauty Agency about a month prior even though they have both been doing hair and makeup for a long time), but I am so glad I did! Katya was amazing! I hired her for hair and makeup on my wedding day and not only is she sweet and professional, but she is amazingly talented. Hair and makeup was on my list of top 3 most important vendors and because of that I spent a long time looking around and did a few trials. I knew I wanted someone who could do both hair and makeup and who would be able to find the perfect look for ME...and during my trial with Katya she was able to do just that. I couldn't bring myself to wash it off the rest of the day! And also couldn't wait to see it again on the wedding day. Katya did my wedding makeup + hair. She was super responsive throughout the process. My makeup and hair trial was in her uber cool work/live space. I was worried about two things when I chose a stylist: 1) She wouldn't know what to do with my wild hair texture and 2) She wouldn't truly listen to what I wanted. Katya was able to embrace my hair texture. She kept the curls, but calmed them. She absolutely listened to what I wanted, even when I had a hard time describing the specifics of the look I hoped to achieve. Christy and her team not only got us ready with beautiful makeup & hair, but also finished much faster than the timeline we had previously discussed! And therefore, we had more time to do other wedding related activities. Her rates were also very reasonable. We received many compliments of how beautiful, yet natural we looked! There is one special thing I wanted to note about Christy and team. I had an outfit change from my Western bridal dress into my Chinese qipao. The makeup style for these two outfits can sometimes be very different - and if not done correctly, I wouldn't have looked as good in one or the other. She may want to learn to proof read because I don't think she realizes she wrote the opposite of her claim. Everything we heard and read about their services from others is exactly what we received and more! For me -- a girl who doesn't even own lipgloss -- Katie was an incredible find. She made me cry (and I don't cry easily) just because she was absolutely willing to come to my house makeup for my big day. I don't know if it was the time of year....or just the fact that I didn't have a bridal party or a 'big' wedding planned with a lot of people needing makeup/hair...but I had a few makeup artists turn me down and 'remember' another forgotten commitment after I mentioned 'elopement' and my desire not to leave my house. :( Anyways, back to Katie : She is WONDERFUL. She clearly understands 'low-key' makeup and hair very well, is affordable, and she is VERY EASY to work with. She works for no extra cost within the Seattle area. She made me look and feel amazing, and told me some great stories (she is a dancer) to help stave off the nerves. Getting to spend most of the day with my fiance (and not tucked in a salon far away from him) was such a great thing. I am eternally grateful to Katie for letting me do that.
