A truly life-changing experience I originally went to Image Perfect Laser to see aesthetician Theresa Cadwallader for treatment of some dark spots and fine lines. I had laser and CO2 microneedling treatments, and later returned for a PRX chemical peel. There was one very small dark spot that didn't go away with treatment--in fact, it had gotten darker. I mentioned it to Theresa, and she immediately became concerned and asked Tracy Weigand, a PA dermatologist with Lumen Skinlab, who works in the same suite, to take a look. Tracy was concerned as well and offered to perform a shave biopsy and send it to pathology. The results came back as melanoma in situ. I was referred to a dermatology oncologist by my PC physician, a second lab confirmed the diagnosis, and the melanoma was surgically removed. I honestly thought the spot was just another harmless dark spot. I am incredibly grateful to Theresa for paying attention to that tiny change and to Tracy for taking it seriously and acting so quickly. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and willingness to investigate something that could easily have been overlooked made all the difference. I can't thank Theresa and Tracy enough. What started as a visit for cosmetic skin care ended up potentially saving me from a much more serious problem. I found this place through an instagram special. I've been getting let down at different medspas, since sometimes they are good and sometimes they're not. There's really no room for that kind of thing when it comes to your face!!! I am so grateful to have found this place! I started Brazilian laser hair removal last year at Gentle care Laser in Tustin, and it totally did not work out. Their machines appear old and the office is kind of dingy. The tech is really nice, but I don't think that their machines really work well. That's maybe sometimes what you get when you use Groupon! Michael (laser tech gal) is awesome. I have sensitive skin, so she uses ice first and then does the laser. It's not uncomfortable :) It's just like a hot vacuum feel. After one session, my skin is softer and hair doesn't grow back fast at all! My underarms had even better result after one session- I shave maybe twice a month! YASSS! Just did my second one, and looking forward to the end results. Check website for specials. It's a little more expensive than the Groupon deals, but you're pretty much guaranteed to have to repeat those or add extra sessions- so just pay a little more now and be happier and save time :) read more

I purchased the full renewal package (a series of IPLs, facials and PRX treatments) and was so happy with the results I purchased a mini-renewal package for my fiancé for his birthday (even manly men need a little pampering now and then!). *this review might be a little TMI but OH WELL* I've been to several places for laser hair reduction/removal, and this one is BY FAR the least painful and most effective. Michael was my NP, and she is so friendly and helpful that within a few minutes of arriving, my anxiety about the Brazilian area was gone. FYI - the laser here covers a fairly large area and so it doesn't take as long as some of the other ones. For the Brazilian area, if you ask for an ice pack, it's virtually painless. HOWEVER - a total disclaimer that the ice pack will actually hurt the inner region (lips, mostly) because it is soooooo cold; I went with it the first time, then after that I haven't had to use it. Of course there will be some discomfort, but it's more like a suction feeling rather than actual ouch pain. It's also super quick, so it's over within a few minutes. Underarms and upper lip are weirdly more painful than the Brazilian, but it's a small price to pay for being hairless. Definitely make your appointment here if you are looking for laser hair removal! read more

I did 4 treatments of laser hair removal here and had a wonderful experience. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and everything is very efficient and well organized. The laser results are incredible. I wish I had done this 10 years ago -- but perhaps it was more painful and expensive 10 years ago -- but in any case, it was worth every penny. The newest lasers of course still hurt, but not nearly as much as I expected, and they used an ice pack to minimize the pain for me. It was really quite minimal pain and discomfort in exchange for amazing results. I thought the price was very fair; I actually expected it to be more. If you say you found them through Yelp, they give you a discount. I'm so excited to go to the beach this summer and not have to worry about shaving/waxing. It was always such a struggle, I had the worst skin reactions to shaving and waxing, and now I don't have to worry about it. My life has been made easier and simpler, it's such a relief. Painful, true childhood confession time, kids! When I was in 6th grade, this boy I had a crush on was talking to me... looking ever so intently at my radiant, blissfully innocent visage, before he declared, "Hey! You've got a mustache!" Loudly enough for Ms. Pineo's entire classroom to hear. I wouldn't have called it a mustache; but could a lip wax have helped me out of a socially crippling situation when I was 11 years old? Yeah: I'll admit it - I have dark hair on my head... but that's the only place I have it now. (P.N. from Sierra Intermediate - I don't have a "mustache" anymore... and you're STILL short. So... THERE!) I was referred here by my supremely in-the-know esthetician, Dorina from Platinum Strands Salon. I consider the investment I made at Image Perfect Laser among the best I've ever put into myself - it's right up there with the Lasik eye surgery I had in 2001. Teresa is knowledgeable, professional, courteous and all about quality. This isn't some strip mall, coupon-special hair removal place for the sake of being the latest fad... She and her staff are of the highest caliber, and their services are set at a very comfortable price point. In fact, I've SAVED literally THOUSANDS of dollars (and hours of time) over the last six years by having laser hair removal. Think about it: A month's supply of: Kiehl's shaving cream, Mach 3 Razor Blades, bikini, lip and eyebrow wax would put me back $175 easily, every 3 weeks, not to mention the time I had to set aside for making appointments, the possibility of ingrown hairs and the inconvenience of "growing it out" for a few days - enough to have effective waxing results. The PIA factor alone is staggering . Results were immediately apparent; my legs (and other parts) stayed smoother, longer... and regrowth was noticeably less than before. It helps if you know Lamaze breathing techniques, and/or if you curse every now and then - especially the first two... maybe three treatments. "Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Now, I can take a shower in literally 5 minutes and be out the door in 20, hair done, make up on... not worrying about that nasty razor nick on my knee or ankle. Plus, when I wear summer outfits or a bathing suit, there's NO shadow or stubble - just lovely, smooth, clean skin. I am a walking, talking anti-perspirant commercial, so confident am I about my underarms. Their photofacials and laser hair removal services are for both men and women - so guys: no excuse for ridiculous back hair sticking out of your collar! I did have 2 localized photofacial treatments - and was delighted to see the first signs of my faint, freckle-like sun-damage rise to the surface and just... flake off! A friend recommended Teresa to me last year for some hyperpigmentation I had on my face due to sun damage and birth control pills... and OMG, am I glad she did. I only wish I'd known about IPL earlier so I wouldn't have wasted beaucoup $$ on skin lightening creams, etc. I had two sessions done last Dec and Jan and one year later I still get tons of compliments on how fabulous my skin looks. Granted, I now wear 50 sunscreen on my face but the results were almost instantaneous.. within 5 days my face loooked amazing. I still can't believe how well it worked for me. Before, I had a hormone issue that gave me THICK, DARK facial hair on my cheeks, chin, lip, etc. After 4 treatments, all the hair on my cheeks and lips are GONE and my chin is incredibly minimal.
