I never leave reviews (especially a bad one) but I'm so disappointed with the color and highlights I got on 4/28/26 that I really had to. I have been to this salon before and Kelly always did a good job but I travel for work and have been in and out of the area so I decided to book online with Natasha for partial highlight/dimensional color + tone, gloss, treat w/cut and style the price online was 250.00 and I had to pay 125.00 when I booked the appointment. I went into the salon and Natasha was very nice but she did an awful job on my color. My natural color is light brown but I have been doing blonde highlights especially around my face. I told her that I wanted my base color lighter and golden blonde highlights. I even showed her a photo because I was very definite about what I wanted. Well she did my base color dark, dark brown (darker then my actual real hair color) and blonde highlights around my face but they are so even I have a big clump of blonde on the right side of my band (she cut curtain bangs, which I had and like) that it looks ridiculous. I look like a skunk with this clump of blonde and then dark brown everywhere else. I wanted to be more golden blonde for summer and my hair is darker than it's ever been. When she showed me my before and after pictures, I didn't want to tell her but I liked the before much better then the after. The other thing was she told me that she would have to charge me extra because she had to use more color and when I got the bill she charged $110.00 extra and it's says for Root to End????? Isn't all color root to end???? Really disappointing! I ended up paying 360.00 plus a tip for her for dark brown hair with a clump of blonde in the front?! I hate it so much can't wait to go somewhere else and try to get it fixed. Natasha told me not to worry that next time I'd book "full highlights" and it would look better. When I told her that it was really dark she told me; "don't worry, it will lighten up when you wash it a few times." This isn't my 1st color and I'm quite sure that no matter how much I wash it, it will never be the blonde color I asked for. Unfortunately I will NEVER go back to there. read more

** this is for the nail services! Yesterday I went for a gel manicure. I was under the impression it was $30 with a $15 deposit. When I left they charged me an additional $30- perhaps because I got gel? Today three of my gel nails have peeled off. My nail tech was very sweet but $45 for a manicure that didn't even last a full 24 hours makes me feel like I wasted time and money. This place is clean and I would try it for other services based on the reviews for the hair salon and other spa services- just not a manicure. read more

** This review is based on nail services alone** I came to the salon after trying to find a local place with open appointments on Christmas Eve. I was initially impressed with their website and the online appointment process with confirmation emails and texts. They have a cancellation policy in which you had to give your credit card information which I took was a sign that this was a quality place. I arrived on time with such warmth and friendly faces and was brought up right away to their spa level; up a flight of stairs. They have a nice relaxation room and I was offered tea or water. After meeting my manicurist, Anne, she brought me into the nail room. There was only one chair for manicures and one pedicure chair- just a simple chair. She left me to get the 'bath' and came back carrying this big tub filled with water for the pedicure. We had a nice conversation flowing and developed a friendly relationship. I felt like I was having my cousins do my nails. Long story short; the water got lurk warm and cold towards the end and throughout my pedicure she kept pausing to show me pictures on her phone. Just as I was about to transfer to the manicure table, a second manicurist came in saying she had an appointment. There was only one chair for manicures, so they were going to put me into the kitchen to get my nails done. Say what!? Wasn't I here first? The other girl ended up not showing, so they allowed me to use the real chair for manicures. I was unimpressed with their selection of polish for a gel manicure. My top choice they did not even have available that morning, so I went with another choice. As I was getting my nails done, I felt like it was a decent manicure, she cleaned up my cuticles, and did the typical base coat, double coat, topcoat. The gel light machine looks like something I could've purchased at CVS and had done myself. As I got up to leave, the woman try to sell me on a product to remove the gel at home. She then also proceeded to tell me I really need my eyebrows waxed and that she could do them for me that day without an appointment. I was offended, and told her no thank you and she proceeded to tell me they would look so great cleaned up for the holidays. I paid a whopping $80 for both manicure and pedicure together (gel manicure and just your basic pedicure with no bells or whistles) and left a very generous tip, as it was Christmas eve. When I got to my car I was shocked at how my nails turned out, there was polish all over my cuticles, making it easy for a gel to peel off on the skin. The leftover nail polish was not cleaned up at all, I went about my day thinking maybe throughout the week it will clean itself up. Now two days later, my nails still look like a homemade manicure, and one of my fingers has even chipped already! Ridiculous for the price I paid, whether it was a regular manicure or and even worst that it was a gel. One of the main reasons why I chose this place was because it's great reviews on yelp. Reading further into the reviews, I see that Pure Eco salon is better known for their haircuts, styles, and coloring. I will keep that in mind if I ever need a new hair salon, but I will never return here to get my nails done again. UPDATE: After reading my review, the owner, Susan, has reached out to me via voicemail and email and has apologized for my experience, had explains the salon's philosophy, and has offered me free services to make up for my last visit. Although I respectfully declined her offer, I have changed my rating from 1 star ('Eek, me thinks not') to 2 stars ('Meh, I've had better'-- as simply stated by Yelp). I appreciate her efforts, but I feel my review is honest, and unbiased; as I have reviewed over 100 restaurants and business on Yelp and rarely give anything less than 3 stars. I love this salon! They are great with all things hair-cut, color, and style. I go to Candice and she's a great stylist, very professional, and so nice! They use organic products, which I love, and the prices are very reasonable. It's in an old house on South Main St. In nice weather you can sit out on either the front or back c porches to wait, while the color is on your hair. The staff are all very friendly. They have complimentary coffee, as well as a nice tea assortment, and snacks (pretzels and little cookies). I always look forward to coming here. After moving to PA I was happy to hear about this salon. My mom started to go here before me and we were recommended to a lovely woman by the name of Kara from my aunt. She's really professional and so thoughtful! She really cares about you and your needs and does an amazing job. I would defiantly recommend her to anyone. 10/10 would recommend ! Also the place is cute as well. A side note of something I like is all of their chemical free products and crystals they have decorated throughout the store. A few years ago I had a wonderful keratin treatment done at this salon. I recommended it to my mother and I was informed that the previous girl who did mine was no longer there. My mother was hesitant about getting her keratin done here but unfortunately I convinced her that this place was good. I was wrong. Less than two weeks later this is what her hair looks like (see attached pictures). Her and I both understand that keritan treatments do not get rid of the curl, but should get rid of the frizz. Her and I both have had many keratin treatments, some salons are good, and some are bad. Her hair has never looked like this after any other keratin treatment she has had, nor has mine. It looks much worse and puffy/fizzy in person. Unfortunately, she needed the keratin quickly and did not have time to go to her normal salons in California and New Jersey . The staff was very friendly though. I do not recommend getting a keratin at this salon. .Charging people money for a product that does not work is something that I, and hopefully other businesses do not believe in. If this situation is properly rectified I will consider adding a better review. read more

She was very sweet, and listened to the style I wanted. She did great mix of layers, took out some heaviness from my very thick hair, and did a very soothing rosemary scalp (part of a groupon I had). The cut was perfect. It took about an hour to come, settle in, explain the cut, get the shampoo and scalp massage (which only lasted two minutes), cut and blow dry. I felt so comfortable with the stylist's recommendations that I got the cut and color. Highlights and lowlights came out perfect to blend the roots, and the cut was just as I wanted. Natasha listened and was patient with me. I went back a few days later to buy the organic products they used because my hair felt so thick and healthy and I wanted to continue using these amazing products to keep my hair full and soft. Let me just start by saying this was the worst manicure and spa experience I have ever had! From the time I walked in to the time I left, they did nothing but try to sell me on expensive products, that I did not need. I had an appointment for a manicure, when I arrived I had to wait 10 minutes after the time which my appointment was scheduled for. The woman who did my nails never introduced herself, so I still have no idea what her name is. She kept trying to sell me on the gel manicure, when all I came in for was a basic manicure for my engagement photos. They only had about 10 colors to choose from, all the colors seemed to be old and thick. She was very rough on my hands and made my cuticles bleed! She kept saying how wonderful of a job she does, I find that extremely hard to believe! I told her several times to be less rough, but she ignored me. I left with my cuticles bleeding and the color was barely visible as she only did one coat and no top coat. This was not worth the money they charge for the service at all, I should have just done it myself, but being that I was having my engagement photos taken the next day, I wanted my nails to look great. I had the manicure on Saturday at 1:30, it is now Monday morning and most of my nails are without polish, as the color peeled off in one piece. I would not recommend this place to anyone! They were extremely rude and the manicure was horrific. I will never go back here again! I wish I could get my money back! read more

Stuff is polite, they offered me water/coffee couple times while I was filling out the form. I had recently decided that I needed to find a salon where I could get some advise on my hairstyle. I had been stuck in a rut everyday trying to figure out what style would work for me with my half curly hair, half straight hair. I called Pure Spa and asked if I could come in for a consultation and who would she suggest. She suggested that I meet with Hannah. Hannah is warm and very welcoming and she spent a good amount of time discussing what I liked and did not like about my hair. She is a good listener and she realized that I was not happy with the cut or the color. I made an appointment for the next week and left the salon that day with a very good feeling. First and foremost when I came in for my first appointment.... Hannah took a great deal of time with me.... she talked to me as she worked, knowing I was nervous about cutting my hair too short. She corrected the poor cut I had and she spent time teaching me how to "blow style" my hair using different size brushes. I asked if I could have a bit of gray colored ( I had not made an appointment for color) and she was more than willing to touch up my roots. My hair is easy to style now. I am becoming a pro at blow drying and styling my own hair. She explained why she was cutting certain areas in a certain way and I now find out that my hair just seems to lay perfectly. I am very happy and will go back soon to have Hannah put some more highlights throughout my hair. Susan, who is the owner of Pure Spa took me on a nice tour of her beautiful business. Such a beautiful place to go and have a facial or massage. I will do that too very soon. Flower pots greet you on the front and back porch and everything and everyone says "Welcome". I had the best facial with the owner, Susan. She is so knowledgeable about organic products and treatments to promote healthy skin. Not only is she the sweetest person I've ever met, but she takes the time to provide customized care for your skin's specific needs. I have an autoimmune disease which results in an ongoing rash across my cheeks and nose. I am very hesitant to let anyone apply products to it for fear that it will cause a flare-up, but the facial Susan provided calmed it down and provided relief and healing. Pure is a fantastic salon and spa. I recommend it frequently to others. It has a great feel - comfortable, welcoming and stylish. The staff is friendly, professional and talented. I've had several excellent services and look forward to each appt. There are just a few things that would make it even more convenient and enjoyable, as well as competitive with other salons: - They really need to update their web site. It is not effective in terms of info. I wish they would offer their full menu of services online w/ prices. - Return client calls after 10am on weekends (I received a call at 8:30am on a Saturday. The prompt call-back was great but the early hour caught me off guard.) - Encourage stylists to wash clients' full head. I had to ask to have the bottom of my head washed. The first few times, it was not even wet. The hair should be fully washed and conditioned gently. The scalp massage was very nice but needs to be gentler otherwise the hair becomes tangled and frizzy. By the way, when I asked, the stylish was perfectly nice about it and did as I asked. I just felt funny about having to ask. There are plenty of salons in the area but PURE is a gem so I wanted to share these little tid-bits with the hope that it helps make their phenomenal salon even better! read more

Wow- I would never get waxed here again. I was not at all walked through the process of the waxing-- with her not actually checking in on my pain (I was getting a Brazilian)-- but rather she just went through without really acknowledging that I was experiencing pain and might want to stop for brief breaks. I should mention-- I was however asked every three seconds a different question-- This wax is very good right? The front desk lady told you I was good right? This occurred even after I politely said I'd rather not answer these types of questions anymore. Did I also mention I was felt up where one does not necessarily need to be felt up even for a Brazilian? Perhaps that accounts for the high price that I paid for this experience. I would never ever go back to this place for this service again. If I'm going to be fair and say anything positive though-- I will say that the woman at the front desk was nice and it was a clean establishment. Okay, so I was a little nervous to go here since I'm an avid yelp checker and saw there were zero reviews for this place. But I bought a Groupon for a head massage (AMAZING!), deep condition (love the feel of my hair right now), and a cut, all in all a $100 deal for $29; can't beat it! So I got there super early because before I scheduled my appointment I forgot to look at the train schedule. They open at 10 and the train gets there at 9:15 or 10:05 which is a little inconvenient but well worth it. The walk from the train is a half a mile and there are small little houses and stores along the way that are nice to look at. Which, I'm from a small town so I'm used to towns like Yardley so it was very refreshing to get out of the city and see trees and small roads. ... Now enough about the town, on to the Salon! It's on the first floor of a house. When you first walk in it you're greeted by the receptionist (who was there at 9:30 before they opened). She was very friendly, offered me water and coffee. It's air conditioned which is nice in this heat and there is great music playing; anything ranging from MGMT, Taking Back Sunday, to Adele! The salon is very clean and doesn't have that Salon smell, ya know the one that wreaks of hair dye and hair spray? It could be that it was early in the morning but I don't think so. My stylest (Jaimie- whom I highly recommend) greeted me around 9:50 so we got started. She talked to me about my hair and asked me different questions and was very attentive. I haven't gotten a good hair cut in quite some time (for about a year, since I moved to the city) which I think I scared her a bit but she lived up to the challenge! Jaimie first passed me off to have my head massage and deep conditioning. The girl was very energetic and easy to talk to. I like when my hairdressers talk to me instead of just cut away, it gets boring just sitting there for an hour. After I was done with all of that I went back to Jaimie and she was ready... As she cut we talked about where I was from and small chit chat but also different ways to get the type of hair style I want. I have a bob (shorter in the back, longer in the front) and I like it to be voluptuous which, Jaimie did a GREAT job at doing and did a great job at explaining how I can get the same look at home. As she was cutting she was explaining why she was making certain cuts and so forth which was awesome. Then she even decided not to do something she thought she was going to have to do because she thought it looked great already, and I couldn't agree more! Since the train started running on the hour, I missed the 11 o'clock train by a few minutes so Jaimie was very helpful and pointed out some good places to catch a bite to eat (may I suggest Vinnies Pizza?!). As I was leaving the Salon I received a bag with their brochure and card and such but also a card for 20% off my next hair cut which you can bet that I will be using! Quite frankly, I wasn't super excited to go there but I needed I haircut badly. I am so happy I gave it a try. I used to travel an hour to see a colorist back home. After a vicious snow storm, I figured I would give a local salon an opportunity to do my hair. Not only is the salon itself warm and welcoming, the staff is super friendly! Right away I felt comfortable and didn't think twice about my appointment. Sarah is beyond AMAZING at color. I constantly have women ask me if go into NYC to get my hair done (PA stylists do it better!). I have referred my entire family to her and now they travel over an hour to see her! She's great!! Whenever my girlfriend and I are in the Yardley area, I make sure to schedule an appointment with Denise to get a massage and she schedules a facial. Every member of the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and makes us feel welcome from the second we step foot in the door. I really appreciate the fact that every product they use is natural and organic and the environment is super relaxing and peaceful. I bought a groupon deal for a hair cut, blow dry, style, rosemary scalp massage, and also to get my ombré re-done. My hair previous to my appointment was natural dark brown with blonde ombré starting below my ears. I came in for the hopes of the ombré being pulled up, my hair grows extremely fast so the ombré naturally should start above my ears. I wanted a caramel blonde, showed many pictures to the hair dresser and we also picked out the colors together.
