They promptly messaged me back and I scheduled an estimator to come look at our house for the next week. Communication was good, through Yelp messages and also after I gave them my number, they texted me updates. The estimator came and we received the quote the next day through email. We were happy with it so our appointment was for the following week. The workers came and got the job done in about an hour. We received the invoice through email and I paid by sending in a check to avoid the credit card fee to the credit card company. It would've been a $22 fee. It might not sound like a lot, but I avoid unnecessary fees if I can. All in all, a very smooth and professional experience and I am happy with the repairs as there are more storms headed our way during this hurricane season. Thank you!

Same company came out to quote a gutter cleaning/repair and the guy just said "they used too much caulk". We both knew replacing that caulk would last about as long as the first time. Cost almost as much, too . So for a couple years when it rained, we got more wet from the waterfalls coming off our gutters than we would have from the rain. Called Sonny, hoping maybe a pro could repair or reinstall all the leaking corners/joints. He suggested replacement would be a much better option, but was kind enough to talk me through and quote both options. Seemed pretty clear this was one of those things where if the material failed, maybe could fix that, but to correct wrong installation, pretty much gotta install correctly. (my problems weren't even just the corners - pretty much all the connection points...) And they did. And couldn't be happier. Hasn't been a year so not a fair comparison, but I'm telling you, there's no comparison. Rain we got from Lala was a pretty good test and Adonai's gutters (and install!) passed with flying colors. (On top of everything, Sonny's crew re-worked a downspout and part of the existing slope on the fly b/c it was a better way to do it. Seriously, six stars for these guys.)

So started looking for another roofing company, not wanting to just go with only one quote, it turned out to be a wise decision to call M&R Roofing and saved some $$$ and still got outstanding quality workmanship and material. Aaron and JoJo were great people to work with and was blessed to get it done in this crazy weather. I'm impressed with their service and have already recommended two friends to contact them.

After the $76,000 roof was installed in December 2025 I noticed that the gutters were leaking. I immediately called and texted Aaron to please come take a look. That text was sent on January 4. For the next three months I got nothing but excuses and a disgusting photo of his infected foot - apparently the reason he couldn't come look at my roof. Finally, on March 27 some guys were sent to repair the leaks. Cut to August 16 when the gutters blew off. Again, I immediately texted and called Aaron who told me that "unfortunately, this was not covered under my seven year warranty because it was an act of God." First, I reviewed the contract which did not state the exclusion. Second, I asked Aaron how he could possibly know that it was neither a manufacturing or installation issue when he hasn't even seen it. He told me the owner of the company would call me. That was a month ago. No one has ever followed up. Both my husband and I have called and texted countless times - at least 10. This company is unreliable and shady. Do NOT use them. They will take your money and walk away without standing behind their product. We paid almost $80,000 to be ignored. If you live in Hawaii you need a reliable roofer. M&R Roofing is the WRONG choice.

Exceptional workmanship at a fair price. David installed a new section of copper gutter and…read moremodified/relocated 3 existing downspouts. The addition of the new section of gutter was challenging given that the fascia was ~22' off the ground level with no access from the upper roof itself due to the presence of solar panels. Impressive work given that he installed the gutter and downspout on his own! He uses only quality materials such as heavy gauge copper, copper screws and hangers. David is honest, personable and hard working. He is detailed oriented and produces high quality results. We had our first relatively heavy rain shower this past evening and all of his work passed with no leaks. I have dealt with many contractors over the years, and I can honestly say that David Kelly is one of the best that I have done business with. I am lucky that we were given the opportunity to work with him.

His friendliness and work ethic had us going back to him when we were ready to replace the gutters in June 2025. He provided a quick and simple estimate/proposal and worked with our house painting contractor's schedule to get everything done right. David quickly dropped the old gutters and hauled them away a few days before the painters arrived to start cleaning and prepping the house. Once they were done, David returned to fabricate and install our new gutters. He and his assistants were very careful on our tile roof and finished the job as scheduled. We are very happy with David's work and would highly recommend him to others.

Nada! original from May 2024: *(WWG) did call me about this review under WWG and stated it was actually Gu-Wi at fault. BUT, they did not disclose this other company does the gutter work. I do NOT like to leave bad reviews but this must be brought to light so WWG does DISCLOSE that another company (Gu-Wi) is doing gutters! My experience was a disaster. How WWG have so many 5 stars is beyond me as they must have gutter reviews too since they are all one big company. Pros: 1. Came quick to inspect; worked WELL to get a fast bid; worked well back and forth emails to get exactly what I needed and eliminate what I did not. UNFORTUNATELY, Things went DOWNHILL from there! RED FLAGS: 1. I called WindWard Windows and Gutters (WWG) for a gutter estimate and another company responded? Gu-Wi. NOT DISCLOSED= a Seattle based company does gutters. THERE ARE NO REVIEWS FOR THEM EXCEPT 1. 2. After I accepted the bid, they sent a guy from Seattle (turns out Gu-Wi is the 'parent company' teeny green cars;) FINALLY disclosed...and his appearance was disheveled at BEST. Unkept dreadlocks; and I do not judge on appearance but these were awful-- thin, thick, disheveled...but I let it go since he seemed nice. He began removing the old gutters. DISASTER. He pounded them off the house roof (I live in a garage studio w/separate meter) so didn't realize that HE SHEARED OFF THE ELECTRIC, PHONE AND CABLE LINES and said NOT A WORD! He just LEFT! Then? He left a dangling downspout that crashed the bottom section to the ground and the upper curved part left hanging there?...w/wind swung around/crashed into my NEWLY installed ext. light, (mid remodel) shattering the seeded glass. 3. Emails acted as if they did not receive my prior emails listing this damage and stated they'd 'be out to install the gutters as scheduled'...???!!! ***I FIRED THEM by email to stay cool and not YELL!!*** ***Waimanalo girl Tita out rebel Iraq veteran YELL!***was how I FELT. -- IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THEM TO ACKNOWLEDGE even seeing this email! ***HECO fixed the lines asap (less than 1hour!)and stated "high power lines were sheared/exposed and could have burned my home down". Spectrum repaired the phone and cable lines asap (on a Friday evening too!) as well and no-one charged ME for this THANK GOD!*** ***Gu-Wi--paid for the $250.00 light that was destroyed AT MY REQUEST by mailed check, as I did not want them ever to set foot here again. At least Gu-Wi (Seattle check) paid for the light. So-2 stars for that; otherwise, zero stars. ******MOST CONCERNING? ****** WHAT IF my painter had not noted the hanging wires? WHAT IF my neighbor had not seen what happened from across the street? WHAT IF my home burned down? WHAT THEN???? I hope I never see them again. WWG needs to disclose Gu-Wi from the get go.
