Pure Food and Juice caters toward a specific niche, those who love a healthy plant based diet. While I may not fall into this category, I can certainly appreciate the vision of the restaurant. If you are a vegan, then this place is without a doubt heaven on Earth. What I love most about this restaurant are originalities and intricacies of the food. I can see the passion in the food at this restaurant. The Strawberry Love smoothie was very refreshing. I think the drinks would be perfect for the summer. I was told that everything is made fresh daily in the morning and the popular juices will be sold out by the evening. Presentation of the food was striking. It maybe difficult to see but the salad was coated with a very thin layer of avocado/guacamole and topped with grated cheese. The avocado/guacamole made the salad taste amazingly delicious. Lasagna is a favorite entree at the restaurant. Composed of multiple layers of vegetables and sauces, this was one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had. At one point, I almost forgot that there were no meat in the lasagna. I must disclose I love tomato sauce and this entree had plenty of it. So to address the elephant in room, would I recommend Pure Food and Juice? Absolutely, if you are into plant based vegan diet. If you are not, you may prefer to spend your money elsewhere because $22 for a vegan lasagna may not be worth it. I just cannot recommend a vegan diet to someone who doesn't like vegan food. However, as a foodie, I appreciate the love and passion reflected in the food from this restaurant, from the small details to the bigger presentation and FOR THAT REASON I AM GIVING THIS RESTAURANT A 5 STARS. read more

I pop into Pure Food and Juice occasionally when I need something fresh or when I need to coworker. The staff is friendly and the owner is always very gracious to the guests. I got the Liquid Sunshine this time and it did not disappoint whatsoever. There are so many juice flavors to try so I recommend visiting regularly or getting the juice credit that discounts all of their flavors for a good price. Delicious, fresh asf and large portion. I think I was mostly struck by the the colors and freshness of my Thai Buddha Bowl. It incorporated every color of the rainbow and every piece of vegetation was clean, no weird slimy stuck together greens. The presentation was thoughtful and the sauce was yummy! Service was straight forward and friendly. The menu is extensive, exciting and full of options. This meal made me so happy and helped me feel nourished on my roadtrip- it can be so hard to find healthful food while driving so I am grateful. Tried to visit their other location the next day to try some more things but they were closed for Labor Day- bummer! Will be back when coming through Tulsa. read more

This is a unique restaurant in that they offer a variety of cocktails, beer, wine, elixirs, wellness shots, juices, smoothies, desserts, superfood lattes, as well as plant based meals including breakfast and dinner. Their food is sourced from local farms, and is free from gluten, sugar, soy, table salt, and dairy. They are a plant-based restaurant, but they do offer eggs, chicken, beef, and salmon options as well. They also offer juices and smoothies already bottled to take home. Another unique offering is their Wellness Plans including 3, 5, or 7 day renewal plans where you choose 6 juices and/or smoothies per day; and their 21 day transformation plan which includes meals, juices, and smoothies to enjoy over three weeks. For dinner tonight I had the Lasagna. It was quite tasty, but the lemon in the garlic lemon ricotta was a bit overwhelming. The salad was good, but was bland. My husband had the Jalapeño Mushroom Onion Burger with a Beyond burger patty. He thought it was delicious, and had no complaints. He did agree that the salad was bland. The service was great. Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Wait time: no wait on Saturday at 1pm Portion size: medium Value: 5/10 Sister took me here to try this place out. Felt very hip inside with a Los Angeles vibe to it. All ingredients are pure, organic and vegetarian which I like but it is on the pricier end. Great for a nice treat out though and food is delicious. Hubby and I had the enchiladas queso ($14), nachos ($18), and green love drink ($9). All were delicious, fresh, and tasty for a vegetarian meal! Nachos were my favorite! It had lots of toppings and actually filled us up! Chips were crispy and homemade I believe! Enchiladas were good as well. The queso sauce really made the dish complete! I also like that after I ate this meal, even though is has cheese, I didn't feel like it was heavy. Definite plus! The green love drink was ok. I feel like I've had this drink before but for a better price. I did get to taste the dragon fruit smoothie drink and it was good and unique but a little sweet. They also have more options too that I've never seen before: drinks with blue majik and charcoal. So next time I'll give those a try! They also have a juice cleanse program that you can purchase there as well which is awesome! There are 4 different wellness programs so you buy the small bundle and try a couple first to see if you wanna go all in for the 5 day cleanse (6 juices a day)! read more

I absolutely love visiting this place! It's so bright and clean! And, idk how they do it, but for the most part this place is filled with the happiest people serving, prepping, preparing! It's delightful. I've reviewed here before and I said the salad was $16. Still think that's not bad bc they're huge. This time, we said we were splitting the Mexican Buddha Bowl. Didn't expect them to split it for us but they did! I'm posting a photo of my 1/2 bc it is still a great size, and it was amazing! The beautiful colors in the foods and smoothies here are a testimony to clean eating! The Mexi Bowl has mexican rice, pinto and black beans, spinach, avocado, purple cabbage, corn, red bell pepper, pico de gallo, pickled onion, lime, with queso on side. I'm going to dream about it tonight! Honestly, it could've been a 5 star review. However, they clearly do a huge business in to go smoothies, juices and nutrition cleanses for pick up and delivery. I'd do it if I didn't live so far away. And... when I washed my hands on arrival there was an employee in the only hallway (direct shoot between front and back doors as well as to the bathroom) pouring a red juice from a huge plastic bucket into small bottles with a ladle. Picture a large bucket of healthy juice just sitting in this hallway on a trolley, for everyone to walk past. She was walking away from it the first time I saw it. Didn't see her go back but it was there the entire 1.5 hours we were there. I can't imagine that meets health code requirements and it just seems so entirely unsanitary. Seeing this I thought, hmm standards like this? Guess I won't do your juice cleanse I was considering. With that being said, lunch itself was a delight! You simply must give it a try! read more

First I'll say I ordered this to be delivered and figured the quality would be diminished. I was wrong I ordered the nachos and they were amazing! Ordering this to be delivered was the best choice I made! I got to enjoy everything about the nachos in the comfort of my own home. Pure did not let me down. Really enjoyed pure food and juice. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. Started with the sushi dish which was delicious, and then had the Thai Bowl which was also yummy. The portion size in the bowl was enormous, I certainly left both full and happy. The ingredients all looked amazing and tasted delicious. I'll certainly be back. Atmosphere : great atmosphere, incredible music and clean environment. Very open and spacious, aesthetic and modern. Perfect place to spend a few hours in the evening and hang out. Service: decent service, the girls who were working weren't the most welcoming, little intimidating coming in and talking through what to order. Tip for next time, know what you want and have it ready, get what you want but don't get crazy as bon qui qui would say. Food: I got the super green smoothie without mango and with added almond butter. Absolutely loved it, wish I could've gotten a large but they only come in one so you roll with what you get. Really liked my smoothie though, fresh flavors and a nice thick and creamy taste. A little pricey but not bad for the atmosphere and the fresh food/veggies available. The rating would be higher if the service had a little bit bigger of a smile, but all in all, good place to grab a cold smoothie or fresh food. read more

I like this place, I'll have to be a little critical when it comes to food. I had the "spaghetti" which is with zucchini noodles and bolognese sauce. It's alright but I don't I would order it again. Took a bit me out of my friend's avocado toast, pretty good! The toast is firm but still soft when you bite into it. Very genius! Smoothies are runny but it makes sense that all their "dairy" is cashew cream. Not the best smoothies though. Very aesthetically pleasing and clean. read more

Their food is absolutely amazing I have eaten there every day for the last 10 days and I'm dropping weight. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the passion fruit smoothie bowl (Highly recommend). Not only was it tasty and healthy, but also so beautiful in presentation (I love aesthetic food). I also had a latte with their in-house cinnamon nut milk, and it was so delicious! It didn't even need added sugar or flavor because the milk gave it an amazing taste; the best part is you know you're drinking something that makes you feel good and is not loaded with bad ingredients! Cynthia Beavers; is a leading raw food chef, two time restauranteur, culinary educator, and entrepreneur specializing in the plant-based lifestyle. Both of her restaurants were the first of their kind in Texas and Oklahoma. She gained immediate notoriety for innovative healthful cuisine. She has appeared on television and written about in numerous magazine and newspaper articles. She has also authored three recipe books. In 2005, Cynthia opened Pure Cafe in Dallas, Texas and Pure Cafe Tulsa in 2009. She also founded the first raw vegan meal delivery service shipping nationwide 15 years ago. Her most recent venture, Pure Food & Juice At Center 1 in Brookside near Lou Lou Lemon Black optical and little black dress. Our preconceived notions shape our perceptions, which in turn shape our realities. Sometimes, these realities can limit personal growth. However, personal growth can help broaden our preconceived notions, bringing us full circle to concepts like "vegan" food. Vegan dining excludes all animal products, and people choose this diet for various reasons, including ethical, environmental, or health concerns. Polarization arises when individuals advocating for ethical or environmental reasons passionately share their perspectives, which can lead to resistance, particularly from those who enjoy meat. What often gets overlooked is the opportunity to experience incredible vegan food prepared at a high level. By setting aside preconceived notions, people can discover the diverse and delicious options that vegan cuisine offers. Enter Chef Cynthia Beavers, a dedicated chef who has helped bring vegan cuisine to Tulsa, not to push "ethical" or "environmental" ideas but to provide excellent, healthy food to Tulsa with care and love. With an open mind and an insatiable appetite, I walked into Pure Food + Juice to broaden my preconceived notions. Let's eat. Pure Food + Juice (PFJ) has a welcoming, modern feel, with high ceilings and a predominantly white-toned interior. The service is excellent and was provided by a lovely young man, Jake, and Chef Beavers! Both exude enthusiasm for their craft and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere. PFJ features an assortment of cold-pressed juices and smoothies. For our drinks, we enjoyed the Cherry Limeade, The Bull, and Green Buddha. Each juice is impressive, with complex flavors where each fruit or vegetable shines through. The diversity and flavor profiles of each juice combination are impressive and masterfully crafted. We also tried the Birthday Cake smoothie, which was decadent and delightful. For the first course, we had Layered Nachos with tortilla chips, black beans, queso, guacamole, pico de gallo, and avocado. The "queso" made from red peppers and cashew butter, has a beautiful nutty flavor. The nachos are excellent, with flavors including black bean, nutty queso, and avocado. The salsa adds a vibrant, refreshing taste of tomato and onion. Next, the "Taco Soup" features veggie taco meat, black and pinto beans, poblano, cilantro, and Mexican spices. This soup is hearty and rich, with a silky smooth texture and a spicy, smoky flavor from cumin and beans. The third course is the Watermelon Gazpacho with tomato, red onion, cilantro, lime, and jalapeno. This soup is a revelation, akin to some soups at Michelin-quality restaurants. Its vibrant notes of watermelon, tomato, onion, lime, and cilantro work in harmony, making it a pièce de résistance. The final appetizer is the "Lotus Spring Roll" with avocado, spinach, red pepper, carrot, zucchini, and crunchy cashews. This dish is light and refreshing, with crisp textures and flavors. Each vegetable had a moment to shine, complemented by nutty almond butter. For entrees, we had the Mediterranean Buddha Bowl, featuring salad, jasmine rice, garbanzo beans, hummus, quinoa tabouli, babaganoush, and a creamy herb dressing. This bowl is packed with vibrant, refreshing flavors. We also tried the "Enchiladas with Queso," with black beans in corn tortillas topped with queso, pico, and guacamole. This is a beautiful take on the classic Mexican dish. The final entree, "Pasta! Pasta! Pasta!" features zucchini noodles with alfredo, marinara, and pesto sauces, each with distinct and rich flavor profiles. We sampled three desserts: Coconut Dream, Key Lime Pie, and Chocolate Dream, each with a coconut or avocado base. One critique is the slightly grainy texture of the Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Dream, but this adds a raw quality. Walking into Pure Food + Juice, I was influenced by preconceived notions. However, my perspective transformed from the first sip to the last bite. Each dish ranged from very good to excellent, with the watermelon gazpacho reaching pièce de résistance territory. Each bite shifted my perceptions of vegan food to something broader and bolder. Allowing myself to be guided by Chef Beavers led me on a culinary journey. They have a latte with cinnamon nut milk that is heaven. Coconut dream pie or the chocolate ganache were my favorite dessert. Took him some juice is my favorite was the green greens, the cherry limeade in the bull. The best smoothie was the snow coconut and the dragon fruit. Sooooooo YUMMY!!! AND apparently good for you! Who'd a thunk it! I tried my first Pure Food "Cherry Limeade" today and I am more than impressed! I'm not what you would call a "pear or beet" fella but this stuff tastes sooooooooooo friggin' good!!! Not only did it taste great but I actually got a little pick-me-up energy boost and I feel like I actually did something a little nice for my body. The grilled pineapple pieces mixed with chicken, sauces, and multiple flavors make it SO tasty. The Fiesta Bowl is a lighter favorite; ample chicken or beef, lettuce, fresh avocado, pico, black beans, rice, sour cream, and once again, tons of flavor. food i ordered a jamaica drink, that also came with chips &…read moresalsa for the table. though the greeter sold the soft drink options really well, out of the soft drinks, horchata, and jamaica listed as options, the jamaica was closest to agua fresca, as i'd went to the restaurant looking to taste, and is consistently a favorite among the mexican flavors i've tried, and as a standalone among that category of drink options at the restaurant, the drink i'd tasted did not disappoint, strong but not overpowering in flavor, so much as to seep subtly but recognizably into the ice, which made for some satifying crunching. and not to forget the chips, that were warm and crunchy too, and while i'd not tried the salsa, it came in a charming glass bottle i loved, as you can see in the picture below where i'd left the broken off chip pieces at the bottom of the basket for the birds on the patio, something i would only do as the only guest on the patio, which i was today. service in addition to selling the drink options really well, the greeter was very welcoming and accomodating of.such odd requests as wanting to sit on the patio during a heavy downpour; i did not want to drip water off these soaking clothes inside the restaurant haha. ambiance the restaurant features traditional decor like the colorful paper machete sort of cutouts originated in certain mexican regions, and has arcade style games inside. further, the ambiance was conducive to beautiful instances of nature, most recognizably to me a small bird, likely a child, appearing on the patio bannister and flying across the patio, and also the sudden slowing and stop of the referenced downpour, along with brief contemplation on the connectivity of such occurences.
