I'm pretty specific so I was hesitant about having just anyone do it. They gave me Yuri's number. Let me tell you, this guy is the real deal. He has 17 years experience and used to work with professional teams in Ukraine. I thought my guy back home in Syracuse, NY was pretty good but he pointed out a lot of details that I wasn't even aware of. He even made me skate on them in between the youth practices just to make sure they were dialed in. With all of the sparks machines nowadays, it's getting harder to find someone who can actually sharpen skates. I was very pleased with Yuri's work and couldn't recommend him more. Super nice guy with a cool story. If you're in the Nashville area and need a tune up I'd strongly recommend going to Yuri.

When I walked in with my four kids (6,4,3 10mo.), we were kindly greeted. I asked where the softball things were, and the young man helped me find the area quickly. We spent some time looking at the many options, and found practically everything we thought we needed: bat, mitt, batting helmet, pants, ball, fielding mask, bat bag. They had lots of cleats too, but we already had some at home. When we went to check out, the man kindly told us we had picked out a t-ball bat, and he went with us to help find a softball bat that would work for my daughter. I appreciated that help in finding what would work well for her. Thank you! I would go here again if we pick up any other sports along the journey.

From the moment I entered the shop, I was greeted by multiple smiles and offered immediate assistance with selecting a good novice pair. My feet were measured and 2 different types of beginner friendly skates were brought out for me to try. Both worked great but I ultimately decided to go with the slightly more expensive option so I can upgrade the wheels as I level up. The staff helped my first visit go super smoothly and offered complimentary tune ups should the wheels start to wear. They were even able to find me a discount on the skates! I haven't skated since I was a kid but told them I was more used to inline skates. They measured my feet and brought me a pair of inlines as well as a pair of quads just in case. They laced them up for me and let me do a few laps around the store to see how I felt. I asked about protective gear, they recommended some, and even fit tested it for me. The staff here was so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you're in the market for skates, get them from Asphalt Beach.
