The associate that pointed it out was very nice but he mentioned that whoever put the bike together had checked it off as good to go but missed all the bike damage. The bike had about 3 areas where the metal was scraped/exposed on the frame (divots) and the tires/pedals were clearly worn. There were scratches under the seat, the rubber handle bars at the ends had scuffs and it just looked like a used bike. They did offer 10-15% off but the price was still over $120 after taxes. I was very disappointed that I drove that far for a bike that looked like it was used and returned and I wasn't made aware of the damage ahead of time. I made a left and there was a table with more clearance items. There was a Minnesota Wild bear plushie that was adorable. Okay, focus. Vikings stuff. I have Wild stuff already. The Vikings apparel was across from the table with the clearance items. I found a Vikings t-shirt that I immediately loved. It had a ringer neck in black. The shirt was in team colour purple, with the logo on the front in yellow, black, and white. More importantly, the t-shirt felt nice. It was made with the softest cotton. I overheard a conversation between a male staff member and a customer as I was finding the t-shirt size that I needed: "Are you Canadian?" asked the male staff member. "Nope. I'm from Iowa," the customer answered. "Close enough," said the male staffer. My first reaction: What?! My late friend was so proud to be an Iowan and definitely did not sound Canadian to me. I thought about it some more. My friend was an honourary Canadian to me. She was kind and thoughtful. The staffer's comment changed my mind when I went beyond the accent and focused on character. I'll take it and put my initial outrage aside. I went to pay for my item at the counter. A young woman helped me out. I didn't get asked whether I was Canadian. Their loss... haha! I paid with a credit card. Tapped. Done! My purchase was placed in a small bag. I thanked the woman and happily left the store, all prepared for the game the following day with my t-shirt. This place is the most reliable one around to host autograph signings and also functions day-to-day as a sports memorabilia and apparel store. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the owner Shawn is very personable. They have some Fan HQ exclusive items, such as T-shirts and limited signed and numbered memorabilia. I hope this place stays open forever, as chances to meet local (and sometimes National) athletes is really fun.

The person I spoke with informed me that there was no indication that my refund was to be credited to my credit card. However, I placed my order, I specifically stated to credit my trade-in funds to my purchase. Buyers/fellow golfers beware! Their processes and communication became horrible and sub par through the years. They do not respond to emails so attempt to even reach them electronically Now, since my funds would be converted to check, it will take another two to three WEEKS to receive my check. I'm not even upset about the price, just how we were treated as customers who frequent the store. More than once I was blamed for giving the wrong information, and there was even difficulty getting a receipt printed. I had another letter jacket for another child, and it was the same experience...even though the additions were exactly the same.
