My sister went to get her hair done, she was supposed to go somewhere else, but my mom took her here. My sister said it was going to be bad, and it DEFINITELY was. She sat for three hours; she asked for calico color which is three different colors together like the calico cats y'know? Main colors are black or brown, some blond, and then usually orange or a copper. Instead of orange, they put the BRIGHTEST red known to mankind, the sections are all over the place, so the red is everywhere, and it's overall bad. She has been crying for hours, she has to go to school like this and there's nothing good about it. NEVER come here unless you want to look like you've been butchered by a bunch of brainless imbeciles who can't even color match. I don't know the exact stylist, but whoever should be FIRED!!! *edit* We just went back because a refund, couldn't get one because the sweet lady working at the time had no authority too but it's fine, but we found out the person who did my sisters hair was the MANAGER Sarah. The only thing is how could a manager fuck up this bad, you're a manager because you're good at your job. If she thought, she couldn't do it (she clearly couldn't) she should've said so instead of butchering it so badly. We're going back tomorrow for a refund and to talk to this manager. read more

Went to get my son's hair cut before school started. Showed the hairstylist a couple pictures of what he wanted. Explained he doesn't want a fade or shaved sides/back of the head. She started cutting his hair, I had to leave to use the restroom as their restroom is for employees only. Came back and they were almost done. Paid and left. Gave my son a shower upon returning home to get the extra hair washed off and noticed they left a rat tail (which I ended up cutting off at home) and when he got dried off and everything I took a look again at his hair and noticed the entire backside of his haircut was completely botched and uneven. My son said the hairdresser was talking crap about a psoriasis spot on his scalp while cutting his hair, to another hairdresser who was working next to her. The hairdresser didn't even attempt to make conversation with my son. He was visibly upset. Called to let then know they botched his haircut that I paid almost $32 for (that's with the tip) and they told me "oh that's normal for hair to do upon wetting" which I highly doubt. Was told to bring him back and they'd fix it BUT why would I return when it was messed up already? I also don't drive so transportation is an issue and I had to find a ride the 1st time going, can't find another one to even go back. Very disappointing hair cut and manner of the hairdresser. Didn't get her name but I wish I had. Probably won't be back any time soon. Such a shame. Pictured is what we asked for and the back of his head after showering. I was visiting family up north over the weekend and this is where they usually go... so I tagged along. It was refreshing to walk into a hair salon and see 3 ladies with long, beautiful, healthy and natural hair. Unpopular opinion? Maybe. But I'm always working on keeping my length healthy, and I've never used color in my hair. The ladies here were super accommodating to my little sister as well - she wanted to dye her hair red so they used wash out red hairspray in her hair after her cut. She absolutely loved it! I was pleasantly surprised by how well the salon followed Covid safety protocol. They had us sign in at the front and wait in the car until they were ready for us. They asked everyone to use hand sanitizer as they came in, and masks were required. The place was clean, and we felt safe being there. read more

My one big gripe is that this place seems incapable of opening on time which I find very disrespectful as a customer. Very unprofessional. Two times I have been here and both times not good. The first time, the staff was talking with a coworker about how she is not comfortable cutting hair yet. Great conversation to hear before they call you name. Today the manager was talk about how the other person is always late and left the place dirty. Wish I could give zero stars. As you can see in the pics. We went in with my daughters hair down to her butt. We wanted a drastic A-Line cutt. The first women did the first cut that's included in the pics. My husband sent me them and I raced down there to have them fix it. I once again showed them the pic of how drastic I wanted the line to be. The women who cut my daughters hair asked her for-worker to do admitting to me that an A-Line haircut is her worst haircut. So a different women then began to fix her hair. When she was almost done. I asked if we could make it more of a drastic line downward towards the front. She seemed to be very annoyed and told me that if she now went back and did that. I would have to pay again for another haircut. I was caught off guard by that. As we were asking for the same thing. The same cut even with pics from the start. The first women got a $5.00 tip from my husband god knows why he did that. I told her I would pay again after expressing that it was honestly unfair and wrong to charge me again but that yes I would pay again. Then she got even more upset. Raised her voice and said if you want a more drastic line than this. Then I'm going to have to basically shave the back of her head. I gasped. I reminded her that she could "stack" the back or "layer" the back. It was not at all needing to be shaved to make it more like an A-Line. She told me that she's been cutting hair for 21 years. At that point she took the cloth off my daughter and told me that she did not feel comfortable going any further and that she was done. I begged her to at least finish my daughters cut, as she was not done when I asked to go shorter. She told me she was done. As I asked the other lady for the $5 tip back (which I should have demanded a full refund!) the women who had just stopped cutting my daughters hair became hysterical and crying and ran into the back room. As you can see from the final pics. Not only is it not an A-line or a drastic line. But it's not at all even. One side is COMPLETELY different than the other side. The back is slanted and not straight. I am going to have to take her someplace tomorrow on a Sunday to try to get it fixed before her school on Monday. Which is very inconvenient as my husband works a 16 hour shift tomorrow and I have my youngest with me also. I got the $5 tip back and we left the store ad I explained I did not want to fight. And as me and my husband and our 2 young daughters were standing in front of our cars discussing the grocery list. The last lady came out the salon door and did. Yea I don't wanna fight either but my co-worker is in the back crying. I very calmly told the women that we had left. And we all quickly got into our car. The final pics were taken after I got my daughter home and put product in her hair and used a flat iron on it. They did not wash her hair before the cut saying that costs extra. They would not put any product in her very frizzed hair so we could go to the store. Saying it would be $24 for that as it's styling. I will make sure that every single person I know. Knows about This and I will blast it along with the pics all over the internet and every location online that I can place a review. I am absolutely appalled. Very sad for my daughter. First off if you do not trust yourself to do someone's hair you should not accept the client nor charge full price unless it comes out good but I will not take anyone there anymore, the only thing it's good for is maybe a buzz cut. Took my son here today for a haircut for the last time. We left with his hair looking super choppy. She whipped through it super quick and didn't even comb it out to style it. I figured out why when we got home, lots of uneven cuts. Also, when I went to pay, the stylist asked me to leave a tip rather than just showing me the screen like the times I had been there before. Took my little brother here to get a haircut before school. He told the lady cutting his hair that he didn't want any off the top but she insisted and started chopping away. When she was done his hair was visibly uneven and choppy. She claimed it was fine. When we left he was crying because of how bad it looked. 6/03/23 my son girl friend got her hair colored at Xpert Hair Cuts in Anderson. We have been complaining to them and even called Xpert Haircuts in Redding to ask for advise. Son's GF left salon with some blue sploches on face and neck after leaving, but the real nightmare was the next day when she showered she turned blue from head to toe, even walked in to show Xpert hair that Sunday and they claim this is normal. Sadly today 6/07/23 we walked in again because Ari is still turning blue from head to toe every time she showers, and once again this was called normal. Lady who did the hair even said three months ago she used same dye and she had same effect. WHY use it on people then...looking like a damn smurf is not normal or fun. Ari wants to cut all her hair off because she is embarrassed from going to work blue and being teased. Ari paid Xpert Hair Cuts $250 to color, $20 for hair cut, and another $87 for special hair products they sold her claiming they would help and they don't work. This girl works hard for her money and I am appalled you would sell such a product and service. She was excited to have a her hair done and even had a pre consultation weeks in advance, nobody warned her she would turn blue head to toe. I hate righting complaints but there is no other way to official notify this company of a complaint. read more

Each time, they are either closing before their posted hours or not taking anymore cuts for the day (even several hours before closing). They don't take appointments. So I came here to get my hair done, I was very excited I've saved up and I haven't gotten my hair dyed in almost a year. I go and get a consultation, and schedule an appointment for May 27th. I get there and find out my stylist isn't there for the day not a big deal I reschedule for the 3rd. I came in on the 3rd and got my hair done, bleach and I and a little haircut, she warned me that there was going to be a little bleeding. I kid you not this is the worst bleed I've ever had. I decided to go home and take a shower the next day because I thought it would be okay. I wake up the next morning my hands are blue my face is blue my neck my ears are all blue, even my sheets and my clothes r blue. I got in the shower to try to wash everything off, I stayed in there for almost an hour. When I was done, my tub literally looked like I killed a Smurf. Not just my tub but my entire body is a blue hue, my nails are stained in blue dye, my feet my legs my stomach everything is blue. I called the salon to complain about it and they tell me about a product called keep me vivid that is supposed to not only lock the color in but keep it from bleeding. I come to find out it's not supposed to help the bleeding at all, it's just supposed to help with keeping the color bright. So I waisted 87$ on a product that doesn't work the way I want it to. Plus another 25 for the haircut and die so I spent nearly $400 at the salon. It's been about a week I am still bleeding and staining!!! When I run my hands through my hair I get a blue hue on my hands, and when I finally get most of the color off my hands, the moment I take a shower I'm back to square one. I have tried and tried again to contact expert haircuts and nobody has gotten back to me not even about a refund. This is very frustrating, I'm getting called Smurf smurfette Violet from Willy Wonka at work because of my blue hair and hands I'm getting to a point where I want to shave all my hair off just for the bleeding and staining to stop. I had a good hair cut from one of the girls but the owner was watching from cameras on the ceiling of the building reminding the hair dresser that my 3 year old needed a mask in order to have his hair cut. My 3 year old will not wear a mask he's 3. The ladies refused to cut my sons hair because he couldn't keep his mask on. Xpert cuts used to be a very kid friendly place but since the new folks took over the business there is no train table and is not child friendly. I liked to get my hair cut there because my son liked getting his hair cut there. Will not return. read more

I got both my kids hair cut here (ages 3 & 4) both stylists were very friendly and did a great job. My kids are not usually willing to sit still for the amount of time it takes to get a haircut, but the girls made it fun and they loved it! It was a bit on the pricey side, but we also bought some hair spray color stuff so it was probably reasonably priced. read more

My daughter came in requesting they freshen up her reverse A-line. Instead she gets a shaggy A-line with one side of the back 1 1/2" longer than the other and looking totally choppy. The stylist kept saying she can't understand because she "always gets her A-lines smooth". Seriously?? This young woman has worn an A-line for 3 years and no one has ever slaughtered it like this. I actually really like this place; however, the fact that the owner prevents them from accepting appointments has ruined it. They claim, it's because their walk-in clients wouldn't have spots, but there are clearly ways to accommodate both appointments and walk-ins, it just requires being open minded. Had an appointment got there 5 minutes early.....waited 30 minutes past appointment time. Then was told I didn't have appointment stylist booked her own appointment and the stylist that booked mine didn't confirm with the appointed stylist that it was ok, we had spoke regarding this at the time, (was to be called if not ok --- never called). I was mad as I took time of from work to be there, and they didn't care. I told them both I would never return and guess what they didn't care. I was the one asked to leave.....previously I had been in there to get a hair cut and the gentlemen that was there at the time was also rude.....guess this is the way of Convid 19 they us the excuse over worked, understaff etc, etc. Well I was the customer ready to spend $100 plus and they didn't care, won't listen and I was asked to leave. i went in for a haircut today because i needed a haircut asap. she had did the shampoo and brushing beautifully but when it came to the end not sure what her name was but there were a few customers waiting just a few walk ins i'm assuming as i was because they were the only opening and not had a waiting time( because i called in before) n they had just had openings. the person cutting my hair had said " there probably wanting there hair done too" my hair was only half way curled. half of it was straight. i showed a picture because i needed layers. i had paid for a hair cut,style,and wash. $40+$5 tip. she had cut my hair really fast too with the layers. i couldn't see it when she was done she had showed me just the front pieces and had rushed me out of the chair. i had mentioned a trim and she did good. but i had also mentioned i wanted my front pieces evened out right before my actual haircut and she didn't do that. assuming because people were waiting. nothing was sanitary and she had used a comb as first to brush but then used her hands to brush and kept scratching my neck with her nails..this was the anderson area. read more
