My first experience, in 2016, had been excellent, and unfortunately, it just never was as good as the first time. The building is adorable. It is an old house that is quite beautiful in Banker's Hill with easy street parking. This time I walked in and was readily greeted. The people there are very nice and welcoming, especially the woman working the register that day. I was given some information to fill out and offered tea or water before my facial appointment. I was getting ready for a big event in my life, and therefore, wanted to pay some attention to skincare. My facial session was very comfortable and relaxing. My primary complaint (the same I had last time) was that at least half of the session was actually a head, shoulder, and arm massage. Yes, that was very nice, but I felt that very little of the session was directed to skincare. After all, I had booked a facial, not a massage. Also, they did some extractions, but when so little time (under two minutes) was devoted to extractions, I didn't understand the reason for doing it at all. I think my biggest issue was that I had some lotions that she was rubbing into my face before doing the scalp massage, and then she proceeded to rub so much greasy lotion into my hair. Unfortuantely, I had to go home and wash my hair instead of doing the errands I had intended to complete after my appointment. I really like the location and the relaxed feeling of this spa, but I just didn't end up very pleased with my service.

She took the time to give me aftercare instructions so I wasn't clueless when I got home. The microneedling has my skin absolutely glowing just 2 weeks later (PDGF results will take a little longer). There's a paid parking lot right behind the building which was easy to find, Tatum was able to tell me beforehand how long my appt would be ($9 for 2hrs parking). The office itself was so pretty, well-decorated, with great ambiance. I will definitely be back for another session!

I AM SO THANKFUL that they were able to accommodate because I met their aesthetician, Lizbeth and my skin and life has not been the same since (in a great way)!!! Lizbeth was so awesome! I have suffered with cystic acne all my life and still do. Ironically, Lizbeth is also an acne specialist and gave me some very important tips on what to use, do, eat, etc. She referred me to a new product and brand that I have never heard of (mandelic serum-made from almonds by Face Reality) that can help to control my cystic acne naturally. The product was also used on me and when she was done, my skin has never glowed so beautifully. Her knowledge and expertise in accessing my skin has led me to dump out all makeup that contained comedogenic ingredients and although a tedious task, I only use products that do not contain any of the ingredients on the comprehensive list that she provided to me. Life changing I tell ya! More than a year now, I swear by Face Reality skincare products, which is so much more affordable than all other products I have used in the past 20 years on my quest for clearer skin. It has only…read moretaken me this long to leave a review because I wanted to be EXTRA thorough in showing the LASTING changes that she provides you with. My journey with her started in 2019, on June 5th (my first session with Elizabeth). I was apprehensive that she could really fix my skin because I had been seeing a different esthetician for years at a different small business with no results (I even tried a MediSpa membership thing somewhere else, too, and that was even worse). I tried ALL the holistic tricks, supplements, sulfur soaps, alllll the conventional things (minus Accutane), even turning to acne forums in hopes for a solution but never finding anything. I had officially had severe, consistent, DEEPLY painful acne for 4 years. After my very first visit, I immediately *felt* a change, I felt renewed. Up until that point, I was genuinely convinced that I would never have soft, glowing, manageable skin. I thought I was doomed to suffer for the coming years and there was nothing I could do. Now, all of a sudden, my skin felt like it never had before. It felt like actual skin (not rough or tough), and it looked vibrant! I didn't even realize how dull it had been all these years until seeing it after her treatment. I'm not going to lie to you and say my acne disappeared after 1 treatment, or even 2, but after just several months of committed treatments + an at-home system assigned to me by Elizabeth, I literally had new skin and she was able to fix something that no one else could fix for YEARS. I wish I had found her years earlier, but I am so happy to have her now! Then, after we pretty much got the acne handled, the winter season made my eczema come back with a vengeance - in a way that it hadn't in years. After just one treatment to my flare, it went down 75%. Then, with the stuff she sent me home with, it completely took care of the rest. It was the fastest that a flare had EVER been fixed! Unfortunately, due to Covid 19, I wasn't able to get treatments from her for a few months due to my own unemployment + Gov. Newsom's orders keeping her closed for a bit (she's open now though!!! Book an appt!). However, please look at the last 2 photos of me from these last few weeks with *just* continuing my at-home care system the last few months. Zero acne, zero eczema, my skin feels amazing still, and my confidence is back! It doesn't feel as great as it does when I'm able to see Elizabeth monthly, but for what it is, it's a world of change from my first appointment with her last year. When you book with Elizabeth, she treats you like family and is always checking on you to make sure your skin feels good and addresses any of your concerns, round the clock practically!
