I can never forget a unique name like Acacia, nor can I forget the wonderful treatment I received from her. I found her to be an honest, experienced aesthetician. She told me she has been an aesthetician for 6 years and originally from Mendocino area. She is a busy mom of several children, but you wouldn't know it from looking at her. She asked me appropriate questions, any skin sensitivity? She asked what are my concerns? I told her I wasn't happy about my brown spots but told her theres nothing she could do to help with in one facial. I purchased the Groupon deal for a microdermabrasion facial. She said it's better that I get a chemical peel instead. I reluctantly agreed and inquired how much extra would that cost me since I originally paid for a different type of facial thru Groupon? She said nothing. Ohh magic words! :D. Sold! Understandably, she says it costs her more to use product than to use equipment she already owns; this is true. She goes on to say but she wants me to get results. Now that folks, shows she really cares about her customers! She is definitely in the right profession! She began with cleaning and I could tell she is a professional with experience from the way her hands circulated my face. I also received a GREAT neck and shoulder massage! She is strong so if you're the tender type, you will need to speak up. I for one, love to be kneaded. I've had many facials for decades and her hands moved with intention. Having a chemical peel isn't my first time so I had an idea how my skin would react to it. Upon applying layers of the treatment, she was careful to pay attention to how my skin reacts to it. This is exactly how you'd want your professional aesthetician to do your peel right. She suggested a post peel kit that she sells at cost for $20. Now normally every business owner will want to talk about products or upsell you but I found her to be genuine and the products she uses, Image and PCA are excellent. I declined the offer only because I have many types of similar products I could use at home. She advised to text or call her should my skin have any negative reaction and she could leave some aquaphor at the reception desk for me to pick up. That's excellent service! I also got a free image SPF sample, much appreciated! Her regular price for chemical peel is $60. I highly recommend it. She suggests that I get it monthly. I usually get acne treatments but now that my skin is more clear I can get hydrating rejuvenating facial's also.
