This was the strangest and most embarrassingly unprofessional interaction I think I have ever had with a business owner. As one who owns many successful businesses myself, as well as having been involved with both the community, highly respected, educated, and raised by a successful entrepreneur, I fully understand and appreciate the importance of running and maintaining your own business. Upon attempting to schedule an appointment with Ella, not only did it take her days to respond to me but she refused to communicate over the phone and insisted that she would only communicate via text (huge red flag), I was attempting to upgrade my service and tack on some extra services for a chemical peel (her given chance to upsell me!), and she not only continued to refuse to communicate effectively, appropriately, timely, and over the phone, but she was rude, abrasive, and tried to con me as well as get me to send more personal information via only text, without attempting to build any rapport or even warmly engage. With as little information as there is in her shoddy and terribly maintained website, her advertising on Groupon (says a lot), and her terribly unprofessional and lacking in quality customer service behavior, I let her know that I was not going to follow through with services and that she lost her opportunity for a loyal and high profile customer. It's a shame as I am new to the area and I know many people throughout the state and it would have been very good for her business, but first impressions are everything and she has shot herself in the foot and needs to learn her lessons the hard way. I'm assuming she is very immature and very inexperienced and uneducated. I'm a very excellent judge of character and I'm so relieved that I was able to learn this now, rather than during the appointment. I have since found another business that is more conducive to the professional and lovely approach that welcomes new business and actually seem to enjoy their profession and do not present as miserable and lacking in their knowledge of both how to run a business as well as common sense and respect and are happy to engage in what their services consist of. Oh my goodness. I have had acne scars and large pores for years. I decided to try a chemical peel. Ella was such a doll with her attention to detail, knowledge, and expertise. After a thorough consultation we decided to do the BioRepeel and I could cry based on the difference of my face! Texture, dark marks, scars, they are tremendously lighter.
