I called Pure Spa about a month in advance to book our services and Brenda was so helpful in getting us all situated! There was a big group of us and so we weren't sure if it was going to work out but Brenda set us up with a great itinerary and listened to all the questions I had. We got a mix of services; massages, foot soaks, facials and we all were extremely satisfied with our services. Every staff member was kind, comforting, and encouraging. The waterhouse was exactly the kind of thing we were looking for while waiting on the others in our group. The Steam Cave, Whirlpool, and Rain Shower are in great condition and we loved using them. I reached out to the salon and they did not even respond. Stylist arrived late for our scheduled appointment and worked very slowly once she arrived. We were there 2 hours and 40 minutes. Tips and dip powder manicure (most expensive) did not last 2 days much less 2 weeks. Charged extra for design which was fine if it would last but the nails weren't secured well and tore right off. 5 nails ripped off in less than 5 days. Also charged $20 extra for "gel polish" on our pedicures and they did not use gel polish. It was just shellack which is not as long lasting and inferior. We love the little steam room and whirlpool before our nail services, which is the reason we chose to come here. But quality for price paid is lacking. Pedicures were fantastic despite not having gel polish. But the dip nail manicure was a big regret since the tips tore and broke off. I've had press ons that last longer. read more

I cancelled ClassPass and had 3 days to use 78 credits so I got a massage and a mani/pedi here with my credits. I had a pretty good experience. I generally splurge for massages and facials and the services here are at a lower price point so I'm giving my experience based on the price tier of services. Everyone was super friendly when I checked in and for each of my services. I had a 10 am massage appointment and 11 am nail appointment. There weren't a lot of people in the salon when I checked in or out and overall it was pretty quiet. You can start by putting on a robe and slides in the locker room before going to their water room where there are benches and cucumber water to relax while you wait for your service or you can sit in the sauna or whirlpool. I did neither because I'm a baby when it comes to saunas and I didn't bring a swimsuit. I enjoyed relaxing in their though. I got to add on CBD oil and a scalp massage to my service and it was nice and relaxing. My masseuse made me aware of a couple of lumps and got a knot out my shoulder. She was communicative throughout which I appreciated. My nail service was nice too because it wasn't noisy like a nail salon. She did a good job and even fixed a couple of messed up toes when I was getting dressed. I would go back! read more

I had a very disappointing experience. I brought my husband for a Father's Day massage that I had booked a week in advance. At the time of booking I had asked for the lovebirds package which included 2 50 minute massages and 2 pedicures. When we arrived I was informed that our pedicures had not been booked at the time of booking. So the person at the reception desk booked the pedicures at that time and then informed us there would be a "small wait" between our massages and our pedicures. Well that "small wait" ended up being a little over an HOUR. After waiting an hour, we decided to cancel the pedicures due to not wanting to be there another hour. An hour and a half event would have become a whole afternoon event. My recommendation: as a customer call not once, not twice, but THREE times to confirm your appointment so that when you get there, you are sure you are booked for your appointment and don't spend a whole evening waiting for a service that should have already been booked a week in advance. read more

I came here before vacation and the Spa recommended the Signature Body Treatment. The woman who did the treatment was very nice, but it was just not impressive. Basically, they do a sea salt scrub and then wrap you in mud and then you shower after. At least for me, this is all that occurred. But they never touch any part of your torso during the treatment. They only do your arms and legs. This was not worth $105 to me AT ALL. I feel like I threw $105 plus tip out a window. Won't go back. And they said they have a sauna. I went to this place with a gift card for a massage, expecting that they probably also do facials. A few days before my appointment, I got an email indicating I should arrive early so I can use the complimentary Waterhouse with eucalyptus infused steam room, oversized jacuzzi and rainshower. So, I did. The Waterhouse is coed and very relaxing. You can stay in the Waterhouse after your appointment, too, and they'll bring you wine, tea, or water. My massage therapist was amazing. Customer service at this place was top notch. When you walk in, they give you a locker key where you can leave your belongings while you relax. I currently have a Memebership at the Spa. The front desk is always courteous and pleasant. The Water House is great to just relax in and enjoy the whirpool and steamroom. Massages are great and facials are lovely as well. Please ask for a glass of wine or beverage of your choice on your own as they do not offer it. Something to consider is that Pure Spa may not be the place to go to for a Mani / Pedi Service. I recently had my nails dipped and 3 of my nails have chipped. I returned to get them repaired at no charge but 2 others have chipped again. What I want to note about this is the Manager called me back and I was able to go back in and get my nails totally re-done at no charge. Absolutey great customer service here. I am going to see a differnt nail tech this time around-BUT Pure Spa has gone above and beyond to make sure my nails will be done correctly. Huge Thank you to the Spa. Glad I have a membership here. If I could give 10 stars I would. Pre covid this place was amazing. I have the membership and most places you get a massage and that's it...not here. Nice robe and lovely locker room with access to saunas and the like, aromatherapy, and a glass of wine or tea after session to start flushing the toxins out. Wayyy better than the competitors. Also used my membership for a facial and it was fantastic. Post covid is difficult to maintain the same experience level so some amenities are closed at the moment, however, I will still gladly play my membership because I have always had such amazing services. Have referred several friends and they have signed up for memberships as well. I'll be so happy when things go back to normal. It's feels like a super luxury spa experience without paying arms, legs, and your first born. Also- appointments are super easy to schedule online and have never had a problem getting the times I want. Lastly- I was so impressed with how they responded to covid. This is so far our favorite spa in Dallas! After our first visit here, we ended up signing up to become a member! I love that they have a water house that you can use before your service, this includes the hot tub, sauna room, and a shower. They also have tea/wine for you to enjoy while you wait as well. I usually come here for a mani and pedi but received a birthday certificate and decided to use it toward a Brazilian wax. I was very skeptical at first because the lady pulled out a strip to pull the wax and I'm used to hard wax only. However, I quickly learned that strips are the way to go (at least with my lady - Sommer). I barely experienced any pain (and I haven't waxed in 2 months), she was extremely nice and we were done within 20-25 minutes. After the wax, she provided me with a glass of wine and a robe to enjoy the hot tub and sauna. I'll definitely be getting my waxes completed by Sommer moving forward. I love this place! My girls and I came here for a spa day before my bachelorette began. It was so great that we were all able to hang out in the water room which has a steam room and a hot tub. They offer drinks while you are relaxing with a book or just listening to the sounds they have playing. Their robes are amazing and I can't wait to go back. Mmmmm. I struggled writing this review. The two stars is for the amazing eucalyptus mask, the hot stone massage for my pedicure, and the personal kindness of the employees. But, I think their prices are too high, and I'm a little disappointed with the quality of my mani pedi. S/O and I got a Groupon to this place, walked in to our appointment, and the receptionist was very kind, and offered us wine. We waited 15 min to be seated. I got Twee, and I can't really remember who my S/O got. Twee was very bubbly, had a big bright personality, and I love the color she put on my nails! She gave me her spiel on Groupons (that the company only makes so much off the Groupon, blah blah.) I asked her not to cut my nails too short and she listened! I thought the manicure was a little short in time, and there wasn't much massaging. My thumb nail polish was a little messed up... When we got to our pedicures, it was a different story. We sat on these nice massage chairs. I wanted to relax, unwind, read something on my phone, but even while I was on my phone and had my eyes closed, Twee was still very chatty! I hate being too critical, and feel bad writing this because she was nice, but I like my pedicures with minimal interaction because this is the one time I get to unwind. It's not like you can really tell someone to stop talking, haha. The pedicure wasn't as relaxing as I wanted it to be. She also cut my toes waaaay too short for my liking after telling her to only file, not cut, my toenails :-( Another thing that turned me off, was that both the manicurists talked and joked about their previous clients. This is sad. People come to spas to relax and be comfortable in their own skin. They should never be judged. I was pretty annoyed at this point. S/O and I didn't get to experience the hot tub or warehouse either, because they apparently close at 5:30. Wish someone told me that. I've never had a bad experience, but my most recent experience was exceptional. To put it simply: everybody needs a Leona in their lives. She's kind, caring, and damn good at what she does. She genuinely cares about her clients and their well-being, and makes suggestions based on what she feels will actually benefit you (not just the financial aspect). I want to clone her because she's so awesome. It was my first time here today and the services received was amazing! I had an 80 minute massage with Leona and she was beyond amazing. She had such a calming aurora to her, which instantly relaxed me when I met her. Once she got started, I was in heaven. The woman knows what she's doing and is exactly what you need for any muscle healing. Book with Leona; you won't regret it! This was a great experience even though I didn't get the full experience of the wet room or sauna. The mani pedi package was pretty good and the providers were awesome. From the initial greeting and hot chocolate too the service and conversation everything was good. I was personally escorted too the wet area and became upset because I forgot my wetsuit. I continue to go back to this salon for massages. I got one once a month for about four months before my wedding and continued to go back after. The deep tissue is great if you carry a lot of stress in your shoulders. The locker rooms are clean and so is the waiting area with a hot tub and steam room. I want to write about Pure salon mainly because the last few times I went to get manicure & pedicure and found this special manicurist "Thuy". I went back again and asked specifically for her. She really take good care of me, she pays attention and listen to my needs and did a great job with both my mani and pedi. The scrubs and hot stone were very nice and relaxing. What's amazing is that the first pedi I got from her last me a month and a half! Wow!! I would go back again for her services even without Groupon or other discounts. I have now been to Pure twice. First for a massage and second for a mani/pedi. I love how the spa is set up, especially the water house. I always wanted to be able to have a good soak before getting a massage and this was able to happen at Pure. The massage however was why the star points went down. I asked for pressure on my massage, because I know that my body builds knots and I need to pressure instead of the light petting in order to actually get some results. I got petting.... even after I asked for real work. She did do well on my neck area but everything else was just a waste of time. The mani/pedi I enjoyed. I got a hot stone pedi and spa manicure and really enjoyed it thoroughly. The nail tech's were nice and I enjoyed their company. The spa has some cool aspects, I noticed that they have monthly maintenance plan which I thought was pretty smart. You pay a fee monthly and get one pamper/maintenance per month at that discounted monthly rate. I would not recommend a massage there to anyone I know though, unless you just wanted a fu fu massage. read more

I had a 50 minute hot/cold stone massage with Chris and it was great. It was very relaxing. My mini-facial was an express facial and the products were great. No high pressure sales on any of the products which I appreciate, but they had tons of great stuff so I purchased a few items. My husband and I have been here several times and would definitely go back. We've had massages, facials, body wraps and spa mani/pedis over the course of several visits. We always enjoy the Swedish massage, and like Laura or Sebastian in particular. My husband tried the facial and really liked it. I have tried the body wrap and would not do it again because it wasn't very relaxing, but rather something to just freshen your skin (although I didn't notice anything drastically different). The spa pedicure is also really nice to do with a friend for a special event. One tip to keep in mind is this place often has Groupon and Living Social deals; rather than buying these deals you can simply call Pure directly and ask them if they will honor that special price. Pure is easy to get to, just next to Mockingbird Station, and they have a nice little "water house" where you wait before your treatment and then can relax in afterwards. This was my 2nd visit to Pure, the first being many years ago and leaving frustrated with their misleading advertisement of promo prices and a manager who didn't give a hoot. Fast forward to today.. I thought I would try again, thinking that time has passed and maybe things have improved. I choose Pure because they are close to home, have bookings available, and a reasonable price point as well as a wet room- steam room and whirlpool. The latter is the main selling feature for me. The spa extended their Spa Week - services for $50. So I booked a massage. Just looking to relax and enjoy. Booking was pleasant and easy. Check in was smooth too. Place was empty which is nice. Headed into the Waterhouse and had the steam cove to myself. Nice! There was stuff floating in the whirlpool so I did not venture in.. I was happy with just the steam tho. The eucalyptus was hiding.. But again, no prob. My massage started on time .. Therapist was efficient, whisking me into the room, no consult, no fuss.. Lay on the table. They were having electrical issues so the room was pretty dark. I felt my way around and found a table to leave my robe on. I took it upon myself to advise the therapist of a few physical limitations i had since she had not asked and I figured why make this uncomfortable. I will just say that this was a typical 50 min spa massage.. Grease job, full body lotion application. Working quickly to make sure the entire body is touched within the time frame. Very brisk, fast strokes.. Like an autopilot routine. The therapist was good spirited but lacked any sense of presence. I have nothing poor to say of her tho.. She was just going thru the motions and getting thru her day. Service finished, I hung out in the hallway waiting as she returned minutes later with water. I retreated back to the steam room.. Few minutes there and then hit the showers. A male attendant kept knocking on the door to check towels. Finally I hurried to get dressed and told him to come him. Check out time.. The desk attendant seemed to be in a hurry, grabbing the gratuity envelope before I even had a chance to fill it or sign the receipt.. One thing at a time... I was wondering if he was even going to acknowledge me with a "thank you for visiting" and finally I got one as I was about out the door. I was eager to leave and honestly left this place more alert than relaxed. Would I visit again? Not anytime soon. But if I did, it would be for the steam room. If I booked another massage, I would keep my expectations low. I went to TCBY after for some ice cream and real relaxation! But this time I was looking for a relaxing thing for me and the munchkin to do after cheer tryouts. She needed a spa. Since it was our first we opted for the 25 minute back, shoulder and neck with aromatherapy. Priced right at $55 per person. It was fantastic. I'm sold. I may not be an every week massage kind of gal, but I'm def ready to go again. Brad did my massage and he was fantastic. Nice water shed where you can unwind in the eucalyptus steam room or sit in the jacuzzi. They have a nice shower and it's co-ed so everyone is in their swimsuits. They have fancy water, hot tea and wine. You can rest as long as you want. And I did. We tried to book some other services but they fill up quick. Call in advance if you want more than one service.
