I have always had an amazing experience at VS. This last trip was different, I feel this time communication was strongly lacking. I had my appointment scheduled with Karla who has always done my treatments and has been beyond amazing. Upon arrival I was brought to the room and told I would be getting my treatments done by Gionna, No explanation. I looked on the wall to see if Karla's certification was still there to determine if she still worked there and I did not see her certificate. Gionna gave a less than satisfactory treatment, I felt her communication about treatment and warnings was lacking and I felt had I not been a repeat customer would have been highly uninformed. As compared to Karla who was always over communicative and caring. As I was leaving the front desk said to call to schedule again. After I left I noticed my card was charged for one of the treatments. I had bought 2 packages of 6 treatments. Apparently I had used up all my treatments for one of my packages and was never told I used them all, wasn't told the price or the cost. I was just charged. Again, communication was lacking. I will come back and try again. As my previous visits were always great but I'm hoping their customer service will improve. read more

I had Breanna do my facial it was very relaxing. They started on time and my face felt wonderful after wards.

The reason for this Zero score is over 75% of the time that was spent on my facial was to up sell and push for membership. I was not able to relax and or really enjoy my facial. I have gone to other salons in the past and I was never pressured as much as Pure Vanity pushes. The young lady was very nice, and she has successfully memorized the Pure Vanity Script to it's fullest. Note To Management Pushing to hard is a huge deterrent. Prior to coming to Vanity, i was so frustrated with my skin. I didn't know what products i should be using and what ingredients i should be staying away from. I always book with Emily and she is so amazing! She shares her knowledge on the ingredients i should be looking for in my products. I always feel amazing after every facial. There are times when i do get break outs and after my facial you can see a huge difference. My boyfriend has been booked with Madison and Jasmine and he say's they are both great. The whole staff was professional and friendly. I enjoyed my facial so much that I became a perks member in August. I've been getting facials every month. Since going I've gotten a few other facials such as the Dermaplaning which is amazing thanks to Emily she's my go to aesthetician at the Lake Pleasant location. My face hasn't been softer in forever. I lIke the services that are offered and like the product line. The spa gave me a feeling like they might be closing their doors soon. Completely out of service menus. Then when I was preparing for my facial there was no place for me to hang my blouse. No hooks on any of the doors or hangers. Just saying when people are paying $59.00 a month minimum, I feel the owner could put a little effort to make the clients feel appreciated. read more

Very disappointed. First time experience...not impressed. Was talked into a peel (introduction special). I stated over and over that I have had peels and love the "VI Peel" Precision Plus and told their peel was comparable. That inspired me to schedule. I had the peel and my results were less than expected. I peeled lightly around my mouth and had some flaking on nasal lines. I went back to Peoria Pure Vanity on day 4 to show the staff my weak results - it was suggested I try another more pricey treatment (dermaplaning). I've done dermaplaning and I stated that based on my prior success with peels I've had that I felt we needed to repeat the peel and go stronger. I was told the manager Kasandra would call me. Never heard from anyone. I again called after 3 days...was told the manager Kasandra wasn't in that often but promised she would call me back. It's been 2 weeks and no results from the peel and no phone call. I'm not looking for a refund, but was hoping to get what I was promised. To be fair..the staff was very friendly and I feel I have been too considering. My biggest disappointment is the "no response or regard" for my experience. It's a shame because I could have been a valuable customer! read more

I started going to Pure Vanity Nov 2017 to start laser hair removal. I was told upon my first appt that in order to have laser done, that I had to have dermaplaning done with a facial in order for no hair to be in my face for the laser to work correctly. Every month for 6 month, I went in and had a facial with dermaplaning and laser adding to over $100 a session. Here I am a year later with more hair then when I started. I contacted the office manager about 1 month after my 6th session and had mentioned that I was not happy with my outcome. I had visited my dermatologist and was even told, I should not have this much hair still after 6 sessions. I was asked to come in, so they could take a look at my face. I went back last June and they did a "complimentary" session and was done completely different and with out a facial or dermaplaning. I asked, why was I told I had to have this done in order to have my laser done, to be told that's not true. So I spent over $1000 on laser, facials and dermaplaning and still sitting here with a face full of hair. I WILL NEVER USE PURE VANITY AGAIN!! I would also encourage people to do research so you don't get ripped off like I did. read more
