If you want to save yourself time and headache please stay away from this company!! I ordered a probiotic from them and clearly marked it's one time shipment! But it doesn't matter because they will still ship you and charge your account monthly!! On my 1st order I asked to ship the item without cooling pack, when they sent my second unwanted order they added the cooling pack and charged me an extra $25.99 for it! MORE THAN THE ACTUAL PRODUCT!!!! When I called, I stayed 1 hour and half for someone to pick up, just for the gentleman on the phone to blame me for selecting auto ship and receiving my order with the cooling pack. Say what!!?!?!?! I clearly marked 1 time shipment and no cooling pack when I first ordered! Then he continue to tell me that they can't manipulate the system and that the customer is NOT always right!!! Really?!?! I have had good experiences in the past but it this time. I use Thorne Research products that work for me. The shipping didnt go as planed and the customer service is non-existent. I want USPS shipping 2 day priority, we'll they shipped it 3 day UPS. Guess what nobody was home when UPS showed up so they didn't deliver my package. Pure Formula didn't notify me of the change in shipping and UPS dropped the ball by sending me an email that it was delivered. I had to check UPS website to find out my package is in limbo. I've made over a dozen purchases from the PureFormulas website over the past two years. Only once did I have an issue with a product, which they gave me a full refund for, along with covering the cost of return shipping. Their prices are competitive. They offer free shipping. The ingredients of every supplement are easily found on each product's page. I love their search function which lets you narrow your search criteria by strength/dosage, serving type (e.g. tablet, capsule, etc), amount per bottle, price, etc. I greatly prefer to purchase from PureFormulas, rather than Amazon or Walgreen's. read more

Ordered Thursday of this week and it came today (Saturday) with 2 day shipping. Not bad considering I ordered late on the actual day. No real complaints here at all. ordered on the 16th, the shipping label was immediately printed but package was not shipped out until the 20th, now on the 27th I still have not received even though I paid EXTRA for expedited Shipping. (just because the shipping label is printed does not mean the package has been sent.) Customer service, or lack there of, was laughable. No resolution just excuse and delay after excuse. I'm glad to be able to amend my review. I finally got a reasonable customer service representative who fixed my account after talking to a half dozen who were incompetent. I'm now able to order online Pure Formula's website (oh, the small miracles in life). Their prices are the lowest for the products I buy, the shipment is quick, and I like the feature of having them e-mail you when an item is back in stock. Best prices for vitamins and free shipping - what more can u ask? One of the vitamins upset my stomach and they sent me an email for free return shipping and promptly credited my account. My post office was unable to deliver my box of vitamins due to the road in front of my house being repaved and returned them to the company. I called Pure Formulas and told them I really needed the vitamins and they overnighted them through UPS. They are awesome and I will continue to use them! read more

sorry to say the customer service is not that good. they say customer happiness team?? no happiness there. got 2 reps and one supervisor with nasty attitudes.wanting to attack the customers? this will hurt their business. why they hire these people with bad attitudes is beyond me. not everyone can be in customer service. firstly you have to care about people. its not just a job.?? cant be treated that way. you have to want to make people happy and want to help them.luckily i dont have to order from them often till they get better help. or better training is needed. read more

The product was well packaged and came as promised, which is why i gave it two stars and not one. Customer service is the WORST. I placed my order using Amex express and I noticed the payment went through but i never got a confirmation email. So I called them and a confused woman told me the order wasn't there - after putting me on hold several times- and i should contact Amex and she placed the order again. Twice i asked to speak to a supervisor and each time she put me on hold and came back to tell me she "checked again" and the order didn't go through. No supervisor. I asked several times whether she was sure it wouldn't be charged twice and she said yes. She never apologized. I called Amex and they said they would monitor the charge. (Of course, this is just what i want to be spending my time doing). The next day of course two boxes came. Double order. i now have six bottles of vitamins. I figured it was their mistake and I wasn't going to tell them because between a call to them and having to take it to UPS and ship it back i figured it wasn't fair to cost me more time. Lo and behold Amex alerted me that both payments had been charged. Surprise surprise i was charged twice. I called again and they told me they'd send a return label. No apology. I would have to take it to a UPS. I told them after all my time and aggravation they should let me keep the product. He said No. so that's that. I've been ordering from Pure Formulas for a couple years, maybe a total of 7 - 8 times. My orders arrived in time and were left on our front porch. My last shipment was not left at my home but a notice from The US Post Office was left in the mailbox stating there was $6.21 postage due and I have to go to Post Office, stand in line, pay the extra postage, and they'll give me my $115 (FREE SHIPPING) order. Not happy. I called The Customer Happiness Team at 8:45pm eastern time and apparently everyone had gone home early because all extensions were unavailable. I called the next day and was told my package wasn't left because there wasn't a safe place to leave package and the extra money was because Post Office had to keep it and I had to pick it up - WHAT!?! No, there is extra postage due because you didn't put enough postage on it... She (Lynn) started arguing with me that they put enough postage on it. So apparently Pure Formulas never makes a mistake? They are all super humans? I'm a liar? Why would my 8th shipment suddenly not have a safe location? Lynn said because that's what the Post Office put on the tracking. WHAT?!?! Is there a box for them to check that states you didn't put enough postage on shipment? No! I went and stood in line and I asked the Post Office; they said this happens all too often. Pure Formulas put enough postage for 2lbs and it was actually 2lbs 2 ounces. I paid the extra postage and took my shipment. Lynn at Pure Formulas said the only thing they would do for me is reimburse my account the postage once I went to the post office, stood in line, paid for my FREE SHIPPING, got a receipt, scan the receipt and email it to them.
