I am truly grateful for Justin. I first came last year when I was gifted a massage. I was curious about Emotion Code so tried it out in combination with the massage. To my surprise I left feeling light, clear, grounded, and just really good and connected inside. All the layers of stress had melted away. My teenage daughter has TMJ and it was causing bad migraines. Our dentist and physical therapist suggested she get massages to relieve the tension that the TMJ was causing to her head, jaw, neck and upper back. After her first massage with Justin, my daughter was shook and mentioned that Justin "just knew where" the pain was and bothering her the most. It gave her much needed relief. I've been going to Dr. Judi (and Justin) for about 6 years now, and I LOVE coming here. She uses the Activator Method, not manual manipulation, which I appreciate since I'm not a fan of manual manipulation. I've been diagnosed with Spina Bifida Oculta in my right hip, and a crooked tailbone from a childhood fall. So I find myself a little stiff and uncomfortable after about a month of not seeing her. And now after my monthly alignment I follow-up with an hour massage. A few years back, Dr. Judi had been through several Massage Therapists, and I only ever cared to see them for my 10 minute therapy sessions, and nothing more. It wasn't until Justin came along, that I decided it was time to get a full hour massage, and I was more than impressed. His intuition, in my 10 minute therapy sessions with him, is what won me over. He can tell where my body hurts, aches, etc. most of the time before even I know. When I had my first few massages with Justin, I'd joke around that I was Thing (from Fantastic Four) because my muscles felt like rocks! (Thankfully that's no longer the case. :) ) Whenever I walk out of an alignment with Dr. Judi, and hour or two hour session with Justin, I feel like I've been given a new body. I can't say that's how I've felt with the 3-4 Chiropractors or 20 or so other masseuses I've been to in the past. I am a runner/triathlete and I can't tell you how many times I have thought that I need to go get a good massage to work out all of the lactic acid build up in my body. But here in Orange County massage therapy can come with hefty price tags and that's just not in my budget. I have had my eye on Purify Massage Center (their prices are great) for a while and finally decided to give it a try. Laura is the therapist I had and she did a wonderful job working out all the junk built up in my muscles. I had just finished a half marathon a few weeks before the massage and had a nagging IT band and she worked absolute magic on my IT band, it hasn't bothered me since I went to see Laura. And that's a big deal because I'm currently training for a full marathon and the miles are adding up but my IT band is still happy as a clam!! I have been going to Justin for over 6 years for lymphatic massage. He has really helped keep my lymphadema under control and he has eliminate other body pains. I've been coming to see Dr. Marla and Justin for a while. Both are exceptionally talented. When I go see Dr. Marla, she uses a very gentle activator method instead of painful manual cracking or manipulation. For me, it has been very effective. I experience a reduction in back pain of 80 to 90 %, sometimes immediately, sometimes the day after my appointment. One time I had a pinched nerve and had a lot of shooting pain in my arm. Dr. Marla found it immediately and as soon as she unpinched it, the relief was instantaneous. The office is easy to schedule with and Dr. Marla is very friendly and helpful. My visits to Justin for massage have also been amazing. He always knows exactly how to find sore spots without any guidance and the massage is very relaxing and therapeutic. I've been to many other places to get massage, and Justin has been the most talented massage therapist whom I have ever seen. He knows many techniques and always adjusts his style to suit individual person's needs. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I went to Purify Massage the other evening because I had read how "Good" Justin is on the Yelp Reviews. I always like other people's opinions before I try something out. Well, BELIEVE THE REVIEWS, people. Justin was not "Good", he was "GREAT". His style of massaging is very professional but different than other massages I have received. He is so good because he has been doing for a long time now and has REALLY perfected his craft. He was firm in the places I needed it and his concentration on each muscle was incredible. In the areas that didn't need such direct pressure, he was so smooth with his strokes, I found myself nodding off several times. I know it's a GREAT massage when I am soooooooooo relaxed that I can nod off. Not only was he AWESOME with his massage techniques, but the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the entire office was spotless. You can tell they really take pride in what they do.
