Love this coffee shop! Always chill vibes inside and their coffees are great. I love the maple bourbon iced coffee so unique. Their matcha is also perfect. Doesn't need any sweetener or anything and is super light and smooth. Service is always friendly and quick as well.

Delicious coffee in the middle of busy Brickell. The place is very calm and has very beautiful art and design. I had the iced latte which was on point. It's close to the mall so if you need to visit, this is the spot.

This is a little hidden place in the heart of Brickell. Don't expect to find parking, but if you're a local, it's perfect walking distance from surrounding areas. It's a cozy and inviting place. I see online that they allow pets which is always a plus in my books. As far as the coffee, it was delicious although I wish it had more of a picture perfect moment. It looked like a cup of coffee I could have made at my house BUT I love to try various coffee shops for the vibes and aesthetics. I did enjoy my time here and even had a piece of banana bread (not made in house).

My group landed in Miami very early with luggages and found this coffee place to bring us back to life. The cashier/barista was warm and friendly. No one batted an eye at a group of 6 with luggages. I got the Greca, it came with a very cute set of espresso pour and cup. It is VERY strong. Very delicious. The shop is cute and homey. Would come again for our next early flight.

I've had delicious coffees here while meeting a friend or catching a ride. Recently I wanted something light while killing time with my son (11). He was hungry and likes tuna, and I had remembered that they had a tuna sandwich on their food menu, which is a pretty large selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads. For drinks we ordered iced teas that were made to order and sweetened with agave. Get the large size (we didn't) because they are good. I had the hibiscus and he had the earl grey. Really nice. I had an epic avocado toast, plain with no gross egg or whatever else people on Yelp are picturing. It was delicious with avocado spread, avocado slices, arugula, fresh tomato, and a little pico de gallo or better yet maybe it was that Spaniard tomato jam or something similar. It's delicious and refreshing--one slice but a lot to eat. My son ate a tuna salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato and sliced avocado on sourdough toast. I don't really eat any of that but avocado and I eat sourdough toast when there's nothing else but he said it was great. It's very large and don't you know, he only ate half so I had to eat the rest because in Joe B-den's America we don't waste. It was good but I don't like tuna enough to eat it more than once or twice a year. And, I had more avocado than any man should eat because of my order and his sandwich. I've recommended this place to my wife who works in Brickell but my expectation is that she will love the avocado toast because it is solid.

Love love love this place!! A hidden gem located in Brickell Miami serving delicious fresh made breakfast and lunch and specialty coffee! Plenty of seating inside with colorful vibrant walls you can even sit outside and watch the hustle bustle of the city go by! The BEAC Arepa was out of this world and the tuna melt was SO good. The waffles were perfect for a sweeter tooth. Check out their community wall where you can leave an inspiring quote or a picture on a sticky note and post it on the wall. They serve great coffee and have various things to choose from like lattes, Americanos, cortados and even matcha. They put a lot of love into what they do and we highly recommend checking them out!!

The service here was super fast! I initially ordered a coffee but the worker was so kind and let me change my order last min (I'm very indecisive LOL) to a dirty chai. The drink itself wasn't too sweet which I lovee because most places will make your drink super sugary. The ambiance had a nice homely feel to it! Only con I can say is the parking situation is pretty bad... my friends and I parked a few streets down. Overall, I'd come back! :)

Love this place! Cool ambiance with plenty of seating and great coffee at reasonable prices. We loved our flat whites and they were only $2.95 each. Service was quick and friendly - we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Highly recommend!

Really cute coffee shop, perfect for a rainy day! I got a Puroast Sandwich and the free Greca (using the Yelp check-in button). I gave the sandwich to my brother and he said it was amazing! The Greca came out piping hot and was the perfect jolt of energy I needed to pick me up in the afternoon. The staff was friendly as well.

Very cozy little spot to enjoy a coffee and get some work done! It's in a little unassuming building off the main roads of Brickell so it's easy to miss, but I think that makes it feel more homey. Plenty of seating and good Wi-Fi. There were lots of people sitting there working and enjoying the nice coffee and pastry offerings. Prices were reasonable and vibes were lovely. One of my better coffee shop experiences in brickell/downtown!

This coffee shop is exactly what Brickell needs. The atmosphere is perfect for getting some work done or enjoying your coffee for a bit. And the coffee itself was excellent, I love that its less acidic and you can really taste the difference. I brought my grandma some of the k-cups and I have the ground coffee at my house now, and everyone loves it. The guy at the register was super friendly and told us way more than was necessary about the coffee but I love that he was so enthusiastic and not pretentious at all. They have a little jar of lemon water which is a nice touch. I'll try the food next, everything looks awesome! I can't recommend this place enough. read more

Full five-star fan. As a grad student, I'm always looking for new places to replace my office, and this coffee shop has become my new favorite spot. The attention is exceptional and the food is fresh and delicious. I usually don't drink much coffee, instead, I order tea. They really make an effort in the way they serve their products, and I appreciate that. The space is beautiful and clean, perfect if you need to get some work done. Music is soft and welcoming, and the prices are low compared to other coffee shops in the area. This is my neighborhood and I love that we have new small businesses like this one coming and trying to provide a more personal experience. Also, the AC will not freeze you (as it usually is the case in Starbucks). read more

Amazing coffee!! The flavor is incredible. Finally a place worth going for coffee in Brickell!! The owner is extremely nice / makes you feel at home. The decor is eclectic and warm - table tops and furniture from 1900's wooden and metal antiques , modernized gas lamps.. everything is so unique. Really loved this place. Vintage movie nights, poetry nights, live music nights.. And it's in a strip of old buildings surrounded by modern high rises - where the oldest bar in Miami used to be. Yo im not a big cafe person usually. But yeah this place is my life right now!!!!!! A Beautiful Cafe with friendly people who offer amazing service :) I feel so at peace and home here and always love to get my work done here or have a great environment for awesome conversation with my friends! The Puroast Cafe has met a nice blend between a Latino and American style. The clear emphasis on the Puroast Coffee (rightly so its the only coffee I can drink Black!) Gives that American Business substance combined with the beautifully exotic paintings and plants gives rise to a natural Venezuelan ambiance. This coffee house is the dream Metaphor for any american who loves their coffee. It represents the guarantee of a safe good quality product with the experience of having the coffee as if you were right in the heart of the Andes!! read more

From a Northern NJ native: This place is extremely legit for the NY/NJ bagel. They put a delicious, chewy outer-shell on these bagels that preserves the fluffy, cloud-like core that swirls around the center. Making a good bagel is tough--as evidenced by every other bagel place in Miami. Puroast deserves the recognition because they're doing a very important job. read more

Good coffee, delicious food, cool ambiance makes for an enjoyable little coffee shop. I stopped by here randomly recently while I was in the area visiting a friend. I needed to kill some time while he was at work so i set out to explore the area and stumbled upon Puroast thinking coffee and breakfast was the best way to start a day of exploration. It was. The avocado toast I ordered was fantastic and the coffee was delicious. I'm not a coffee expert -- I don't have a palate refined enough to describe to you "the bold flavors" present here -- but I can tell you as a coffee layman I really enjoyed the roast used here. The place has a very chill vibe that probably made me enjoy breakfast all the more. read more

A perfect coffee shop. It has a friendly and welcoming vibe and the employees show genuine care. All the food items are simple and delicious with just enough space for fun and creativity. This is some of the best cold brew I've *ever* had. I like a strong dark roast coffee. I tried both the French roast hot coffee and today's cold brew (a blend of roasts), both were excellent. The almond croissant was great too. Staff were super nice, super friendly. Can't wait to go back again! read more

Iced coffee tasted like Keurig brewed over ice. As you will see in all the other reviews, no one talks about what the black coffee tastes like. Because it's bad. This is not the place to come if you actually care what the coffee tastes like. read more

My husband and I had oat milk lattes from puroast and we were very disappointed. First off, we paid $6 per drink (which in Miami is pretty standard) but we got our oat milk lattes and they were burnt. The coffee was burnt as could be. The gals behind the counter were pretty much careless..could care less about their job. I was disappointed because there aren't a lot of "coffee shops" in brickell and I was happy to discover this quaint little spot..this was a let down. read more

This is truly a hidden gem. We were visiting with friends and enjoyed breakfast here. The atmosphere was amazing. There was great artwork and the seating and furniture are unique. Very modern, perfect for a cozy date. At arriving the lot tried to charge us $12 to park but luckily we found parking a few streets away and walked over. I took advantage of the Yelp check in biscotti offer. It paired well with my expresso. My husband ordered orange juice, it's fresh squeezed and delicious. We both had bacon, egg, cheese, avocado on a bagel. My husband substituted his for croissant. The food was freshly made and brought out once prepared. It did take a little longer than expected but the taste was well worth the wait. The food is a bit pricey but the overall experience was great. read more

Specifically out of desperation to find a coffee house closer to me I gave this place another chance, and I'm so glad I did! Appreciably, they have made several changes: 1-Turned off projector TV and replaced it with ambient music. 2-More reasonable prices. Only reason it's not a five is because I haven't tried the food. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place and the coffee was delicious! I ordered the pancakes which were pretty good and my friends ordered the egg and avocado sandwich which they really enjoyed. It took very long for our food to come out and everyone got there food and ate their food before another friend and myself got our pancakes. The server did give us a free drink because of it, which I really appreciated. The food was good but I had to give it 3 stars because it too way too long to get our food. read more

Very sweet shop. They do coffee south american style with the silver single kettles. I forgot what they call them, but I have yet to see them in any other place here in Miami. They have fresh squeezed O.J. very friendly and attentive staff and a nice cozy shop. Great place to do computer work or just relax. read more

This place was FANTASTIC! The coffee is out of this world. I've never enjoyed a flavored coffee, but their maple bourbon (both drip AND greca) is so tasty! We probably had one or more of each thing on the menu and it was all great. More-so than that, all the girls working this morning/afternoon (REALLY wish I had gotten their names) went above and beyond to wait on us. Let me tell you, we were NOT low maintenance. Today rather than walking to Starbucks I decided to walk to PUROAST. This coffee house vibe has a very cold and unwelcoming feeling when you walk in. The coffee was mediocre especially for a dark french roast. Too bad it's the only coffee shop in nobi (north brickell). Hopefully a cool coffee shop opens in the area. read more

Very tasty coffee and good ambience. The place feels like a real Java place. However they haven't gotten a grip of the kitchen. Every time that we ordered something, it would take them forever or the ingredients were missing, which is hard to understand for an unsophisticated menu. read more

Decent coffee and a light, airy coffee shop that has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I most recently came in the afternoon and they were airing a World Cup game. read more

This is a great GMO-free organic coffee spot with a limited menu. This morning they ran out of almond milk and were "buying bagels at the store". Publix? #Fail - the coffee is great but parking is problematic and the prices are UWS New York. read more

I think I have found my new favorite coffee place in Brickell! I love working in a coffee shop, and this shop is perfect for that. Great energy, everyone is working as well, music is not loud, staffs are friendly, deco are nice and bright. And of course the coffee and food - I had chicken croissant sandwich - delicious! Iced coffee is good. I'll definitely come to try more in the menu! read more

Perfect neighborhood coffee shop. Smooth and sweet latte with no need to add sugar. Friendly service and fun and funky vibe without being cluttered or painfully hip. Avocado toast had ham and greens on a toasted baguette and a correctly poached egg. No microwave breakfasts here. Can't wait to come back and try the other options. Quality is average but the service really needs to get their act together. Six of them behind the counter, all unable to prepare coffees. Had to wait ten minutes even though the place was empty. Ended up refusing to wait longer after they messed up one of the two drinks. read more

This coffee shop next to City Centre is so cute and quiet, which is hard to find in Brickell! I've been here a few times now, and it is a lovely little place. I've had the matcha green tea both hot and iced, and it was delicious. They also make yummy croissants! There is indoor and outdoor seating and free wifi, so it's a nice place to hang out if you need to do some work. My only complaint is the high-ish prices, but it's nothing shocking given the neighborhood. read more

Established in 2015.

Puroast Coffeehouse is a tribute to the plantation home of the Coffee grower from South America, where we learned the magic of their roasting. Health facts: 70% less acid than regular brands, 7X the antioxidants of green tea, 100% Coffee Puroast Coffee story actually begins back in 1986, while traveling through the Lara region of Venezuela, in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, we were invited to visit una hacienda de café (coffee plantation). We didn't realize it at the time, but with this cup we took the first step on a journey - a quest, really- to find the underlying secret to this smooth and rich Café del Caficultor, the Grower's Coffee. After the discovery, and the learning, came the transferring of that roasting. So we did, to Northern California. Puroast® was born and offered as a "smooth, less bitter" coffee.

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

I requested it with oat milk, but it was made with whole milk and the barista had no issue remaking it for me, which was nice. The flavor was amazing with just the right amount of salt and caramel; it was not too sweet and it was very smooth. The only issue I had was the parking, there was absolutely no place to park so I had to double park in an alley and run in to get my drink. However, I imagine if you live or work in the area it would be a cute place to pop in and get a beverage. They also had empanadas and some various pound cake slices which people were partaking in so I imagine they were decent.

We started with the raw bar and had oysters, scallops, hamachi, and razor clams. The raw razor clams were the best I've ever had. The scallop with the salsa verde.... Wow. Amazing bites. We got the sausage filled with Comte cheese. This is one of the best items on the menu. Must order. We ordered the agnolotti and cavatelli. The duck cavatelli is an excellent pasta dish. The crab agnolotti is one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, if not the best (contenders are Torrisi and Lilia so you know I know). The ambiance feels inviting, and the coffee beans are excellent, with a nutty, naturally sweet flavor that really stands out. However, the matcha latte was underwhelming--the milk-to-matcha ratio was off, with too much milk overpowering the flavor. Unfortunately, the service didn't meet expectations. With only one barista working, things moved slowly. I ordered a drip coffee and received the last bit in the pot, which was lukewarm. The oat milk added to it was cold, making the drink even less enjoyable. When I asked for it to be warmed up, the barista microwaved it, but it still wasn't hot enough and bubbled over, dripping down the sides of the cup. When I asked for a fresh cup with hot milk, I was told they stop brewing coffee at 1 p.m., which was fine, but the barista followed up with, "I'm not going to brew one pot for one person." Being new to Miami and coming from a small town where coffee shop culture was huge, I've been looking for my new go-to coffee shop to grab something to drink and do work. Well, Puroast's space is absolutely lovely with an urban and tropical vibe (weird mix, I know but you have to see it for yourself!). It's never packed here whenever I've been and there is always a table to grab, which contributes to a quieter atmosphere. The decor is super unique, their service is good, Wi-Fi reasonably fast, and their chai latte rivals that from my favorite place back at home. Not to mention, their prices are actually reasonable. This is my third time here, and I've had an enjoyable time studying at this little coffee shop! Definitely becoming a favorite of mine, especially knowing about their loyalty program (buy ten items, your next item is free). read more

Fun place to grab an awesome coffee: There aren't many quality coffee shops in brickell or Miami in general, so I was really excited to find this place. It definitely lived up to expectations. The best part about this place is the coffee. It's awesome, and they make a mean latte (what I usually get at coffee shops). Far better than Starbucks. It may take a while to get your drink, but that's because they do it right. The Central American jungle theme inside is relaxing and creative. It's comfortable being around the greenery, wooden tables and colors in the middle of a grey city. Great place to meet up with friends. The music can be loud, so bring headphones if you need to study. Depending on how long you stick around, the sandwich menu is delicious. read more

We were excited to try this place out given their back story on the coffee beans but I have to say it is all a front. Ordered two small lattes and were given the bigger size. But that wasn't the problem, the lattes weren't hot and were super watered down. To be honest, coffee at a gas station has more taste and potency. Not sure if they know how to operate grind settings on their espresso machines. I own a Breville Oracle Touch and know what good espresso and lattes taste like. A big pass on this place. read more

Perhaps it's a Sunday/chance thing... But we wouldn't find our way back here. There are other too many other coffee shops to choose from that rock locally roasted coffee and offer an authentic experience. Oh, the commercials that play over the radio are super tacky. read more

The service is almost as great as the coffee. Best cup in Miami and the team there is incredibly welcoming. Ask about their Bourbon Vanilla iced coffee, they are good I just let them pick what they want to make me half of the time. Highly Recommended!! read more

Great system of points. Love the coffee here and the decoration. This is a cozy place. and quiet place to get breakfast and coffee. The coffee is on the stronger side and they sometimes run out of bagels, but otherwise pretty much perfect. read more

Great little spot next to city center! Delicious coffee, fresh bread, etc. I had the "Feel Better, Not Bitter" and portion was nice & priced well. Especially for this location. Friendly staff also. Would recommend! read more
