This is a very cute little coffee shop! We had a dog with us, and they were very accommodating, even bringing her out some water! It was a little bit noisy because of the surrounding construction, which is not the fault of the establishment. My favorite coffee house in Miami. I can even overlook the wait because I know everyone knows how good the coffee and food is. Ben the cook is a sweetheart and makes the best egg and cheese croissants. Their avo toast is legit and big. The almond croissants are the best I've had outside of Paris. They won't give up thir vendors name, lol. Prices are so reasonable I go VERY often for breakfast. The coffee and Thai lattes are my favorite. They specialize in low acid coffee and trust me you can tell the difference. I even bought some beans for home use. The vibe here is also super cute. Like a real hip coffee house. This place was really nice and I enjoyed the ambiance to do some work on my computer. The coffee was strong and tasty, they had free water available and lots of space to work. The woman that took my order was a bit grumpy but effective. There was no parking available other than at the City Center shopping mall. Be aware that IT IS NOT FREE for two hours any longer. Visited Puroast on a Saturday afternoon expecting it to be mostly empty and boy, was I wrong! The place was packed, mostly with students, and my fiance and I got the last table they had. I ordered the matcha latte and he got the mocha cappuccino and an almond croissant. Both drinks were delicious and the folks at the counter courteous. They offer free wifi and ample places to charge your phone or laptop so it makes for a perfect place to hang out and get some work done. Parking may be tricky because you are in the heart of Brickell but I rode my bike and was able to chain it up right outside. read more

Stopped by earlier today for some coffee before work They took 30 minutes for two sandwiches and two coffees, the place was empty when we arrived and placed our order I asked that my egg be made over medium and I still got a poached egg on my avocado toast, which o my had four miniature pieces of avocado- I can hardly call it an AVOCADO toast Coffee wasn't bad. This is a great local coffee spot in Brickell. The coffee is delicious and I also really enjoy the avocado toasts.

Wow....this might me one of the very few times I start my review with that word. By now you would know I'm a coffee drinker and I appreciate a good cup of what I call fuel especially in the morning. Always looking for new coffee shops but sometimes when you're not looking that's when you find these places. As usual I happened to be close to this establishment, City Centre to be specific and needed my morning fuel and this place had a good rating on Yelp so I said why not. People this is the best cup of pure coffee I've ever had in my life. There is a story behind the roasting process and how the owners of the shop met and started this journey because the young lady told me it but honestly I don't want to make up facts and I was so excited about the coffee I missed a lot of key points of the story but basically the husband was blown away with the roasting process done in the mountains of Venezuela and being an engineer and all, he decided to do the same here, at this place. They take longer than usual when roasting the beans and that makes it less acidic, 70% less and therefore more enjoyable as supposed to the regular Cuban coffee perhaps. I ordered the Greca which is basically like a colada and it comes in the metal coffee maker that most Cubans use in their household, sure you've seen it in coffee shops, with a side of milk and a cup all placed on top of a wood board. Needless to say, the presentation alone is beautiful if you're a true coffee drinker. The Greca could be for two people, I drank it all by myself, or the one for four people, and the coffee really is amazing and way less acidic than any other coffee I've even tasted. The side of milk had that foam we love so much when ordering a Cuban colada so that was like a bonus for me. The decor of the shop is very calming and inviting and it was also all done by the wife and co owner. They seem to have delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches as well like the Avocado toast but I came here for coffee today. Staff is super friendly and attentive, you even get the story before placing your order and they ask you about the coffee as soon as you take a sip of it. This joint has become my favorite coffee place and that's a lot to say since I've never had a "favorite" coffee shop up until this day. read more

Cool looking coffee shop from the outside, and not a bad vibe on the inside. Now why I gave this place 3 stars. The coffee is not good. I had a macchiato and my wife had a cappuccino. Both were flavorless and tasted watered down. We also had a breakfast bagel which cold. They didn't even toast the bagel. If your looking for good coffee there are better options in the neighborhood, but if you simply want to hang out I guess this place is fine, maybe try a tea. :) read more

Came here with my friend who is severely allergic to nuts. She ordered the chia pudding which said on the menu was made with oat milk. We asked 2 times if there were nuts in the granola because it looked a little suspicious, but were told no both times. We got back to our apartment and checked the website and it said it was made with almond milk so we called to triple check and they said it was made with almond milk, not oat milk like previously stated. They were very nonchalant with their answers and because of it my friend could have been hospitalized. The coffee and food was good tho so 2/5 stars. read more

The ambiance is informal and cozy, however, the coffee was by far one of the worst that I had. Two other people were with me and we ordered some variation of hot/iced latte/espresso. They all tasted like heavily concentrated chemicals. We asked if the barista could re-make just one and she stated that she wouldn't. We would have to buy another latte but she would give us the caramel flavor for free. We opted to throw all of the drinks away and leave. I love this place! Aside from the bagels being delicious and the waffles too the food arrived quickly and so well packed. It still looked so pretty when it got to me. Even the lattes I ordered weren't spilled, not a single drop. They weren't hot anymore but that's bound to happen, nothing a microwave couldn't fix. But the food was great, still hot and in tact and delicious. Also when I got my bag they were sweet to put my name with a smiley. Great service all around. I will admit I did not know what a Greca was until I had one today but it as just as powerful as a Cuban coffee and delivered a smooth finish with 7 times more antioxidants than green tea. Coffee flavor is great. They say it's 70% less acidic than regular coffee which was appealing to me since I struggle with inflammation. It was strong in terms of its caffeine effects and yet I didn't crash. The almond croissant was DELICIOUS. I'm completely sold. Our friends got the mocha and were told that they use Godiva chocolate!!! Sold again. Really cute ambiance. Colorful & vibrant. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee and good customer service. I loved that they had almond milk too. I'm a local and will definitely come back. Starbucks just got trumped. Always happy to see new coffeeshops opening in town. Traffic should pick up a lot here when Brickell City Center opens later this year. Right now there is a lot of construction around and can be difficult to get to with road closures, etc. But if you find it, it's a nice surprise.
