True baristas is a must if you're in Miami! This has to be one of the best coffees over ever had. I was sad when it finished lol. To add they have delicious empanadas and muffins as well. I tried both the chicken and beef. To my surprise the chicken had a little more flavor but bother were good. The banana chocolate chip muffin was so moist. It could do without the extra sugar on top but it's beautiful so I get it for aesthetic purposes. Will definitely be back when I'm in town again read more

Our Airbnb was just two blocks away from here and decided to drop in for a coffee! The menu is pretty large as for coffee drinks but what I do enjoy that it's made of course fresh to order espresso on each ring up at the register. Both lattes then come sealed and the beef empanadas that were ordered were very flavorful! Def recommended! The location is outside of Truist bank. read more

Cute coffee spot - there's tons of seating around and their menu is unique. I got the true baristas latte - did not realize how sweet it would taste, but it was delicious nonetheless. I'd probably just get a normal latte without any syrups next time. The line moves quickly, and I didn't have to wait to that long of a time to get my drink. It's quite expensive though - about $10 after a normal tip, so knocking it to 4 stars because of that. read more

Paid $30 for 3 empanadas and a coffee. The iced latte was OK, very standard. The empanadas were very basic. We ordered the beef and it was literally ground beef. This wasn't the issue, my problem was with the service. The two ladies working seemed to be more interested in their phones than attending their customers. Their vibe was off. Asked if they had any hot sauce for the empanadas and was looked at as if this was a ridiculous question. Actually didn't get a verbal response, just a head shake "no" and a crazy look... True Baristas is a coffee truck that is located off of 13th street and S Miami. They have plenty of outdoor seating but is best for grab and go. They have another location outside of Bank of America and Truist which is convenient for those working near there. I ordered an iced macchiato which was really nice. Service depends on how busy they are, they can take awhile. The location is great with ample seating so you can people watch while sipping your morning joe! read more

Great place for a coffee before walking through downtown. They have ventilation so even sitting outside isn't too warm. Great service and friendly stuff. They explained all the special drinks to us and stayed calm even with a long line. Highly recommend it read more

We were out and about walking the brickell area in the morning and really needed a pick me up before heading to the pool. While walking we found this adorable food truck for coffees! The location was great because it was walking distance from our hotel and the employees were so friendly. We also loved that they had a few tables set up outside the truck with fans to cool off in the Miami heat. I ordered the iced dirty chai latte and it was amazing! I'm always on the lookout for the best and this was very close to it! My family also ordered iced vanilla lattes and they said they were delicious. We noticed that they were serving muffins, pastries, and empanadas but we had just had breakfast so it was bad timing but next visit we will try the food for sure! read more

Cute coffee car! This place has a ton of specialty coffee drinks which I found to be really cool. I think there's probably a flavor for everyone! Had the vanilla iced latte which was good but def preferred the dalgona coffee which was strong, sweet and fluffy. The patio seating was also super cute. This was a really cute place - it's a truck with stalls and small seating outside. The menu was pretty extensive for a coffee shop and there were options on there I've never heard of. I got the cinnamon toast latte with almond milk. It was $8.10, which is kind of expensive for a coffee. It was really sweet, so if you don't like sweet coffee, ask for less sugar!! I give the coffee and aesthetics a 7/10. read more

I have wanted to try this place ever since I saw it on instagram. This was a cute spot to walk to in the area of Brickell. They had a variety of flavors and I really enjoyed their coffee. They had a pretty long line and all the tables were filled, which usually means it's a good spot. Be aware that it's an outside area and we we're getting soaked in the rain. We had one umbrella and hide under the building. It was still worth it and a fun little adventure. read more

I've been a fan of Cafe Demetrio in the Gables which would naturally make me a fan of True Baristas...but in true yelp fashion one must try in order to confirm 'the goods are good!' ...and the goods are good! Walked right into it on a leisurely walk with the pup and it was the perfect little spot to cool down and get refreshed. The heat has been intense so I ordered an iced coffee (peppermint white mocha) and it hit the spot although my usual go-to's are chai drinks and my usual Demetrio order is a Cafe Leo. With this in mind, I'm anxious to go back and try something different! Frank...the vintage truck is a keeper. That boy turns heads! Lol read more

Found this little outdoor cafe on Yelp and bonus that it was within walking distance from our hotel. Service was quick and despite the noise of the cars, it was still somewhat peaceful. We got a Cuban oat milk latte and dalgona coffee for drinks. An empanada and espresso cookie for snacks. Definitely get their empanadas or one of their cookies, it's worth the additional calories. read more

They have plenty of options of coffees and other beverages, both caffeinated and decaffeinated. They also have several breakfast pastry options, including muffins and empanadas. The foam is like a bubble bath (should be silky smooth). It's also super hot, burn your mouth hot. There are no options for single origin or even explanation as to what the coffee beans are. Delicious, specialty coffees! I got the Cinnamon Toast Latte (saw other reviews raving) and it was delicious! Would absolutely return to try more drinks. I also got the chicken empanada, which they warmed up, and the flavor was awesome. The baristas were pleasant and kind, and there's ample shaded seating (with good music playing too). Very cute little bus turned into a coffee stand right in the middle of Brickell with a bunch of seating outside. The cinnamon toast latte is 10/10 and in a nice spot to enjoy it outdoors. Dogs are welcome as well! I haven't tried any of the pastries yet but they look tasty as well. My only criticism is I placed an online order to avoid the line and showed up 30 minutes later and the staff had to prepare it then. read more

We found this place while walking around Brickell and fell in love with it. Our Mocca Frappuccino had a nice strong coffee flavor and tasted very natural with no added artificial flavor one of the best we had for a while. The best coffee I've had while traveling in Miami! The espresso itself isn't burnt or bitter and it has such a smooth consistency! It blended perfectly in with the flavors I added. The lady's working this gig were super helpful and kind while i was deciding what to drink! I'm allergic to nuts and they knew exactly what to recommend me! Which is super reassuring! There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.
