Upon having our master shower remediated for mold through our home insurance policy, we were on the hunt for a company that could reconstruct the shower. I submitted a request through Yelp, and Global Prevention Services responded and got me scheduled for a consultation immediately. Shortly after this consultation, the Global Prevention Services Project Coordinator, Kimberly, put together several service estimates for me, as we weren't yet sure the direction we wanted to go with the shower tile. Kimberly was patient with us as we picked out materials and went back and forth on what we wanted to do! Due to our mold experience, we ultimately decided we wanted to limit the amount of grout in the shower, in hopes of minimizing the chances of it failing. With that, we started the reconstruction! Throughout the whole process, Kimberly and Rudy, the project manager, were incredibly thorough, communicative, and overall, just really helpful. We could not be more grateful for the time and effort both Kimberly and Rudy spent trying to make our shower dreams come true. I would also love to give a shout out to all of the guys who helped load and unload HUGE porcelain slabs -- that is no easy feat! They have been extremely unethical and do not complete the work they say they will do. In addition, the work they did complete was poorly done and resulted in further damage to the property. When I contacted their team about the additional damage to the property and how it was covered by a warranty they sent someone out two days later. They opened up the wall to locate the leak where they had replaced a shower and all of the piping. They located the leak but stated they would not honor their warranty and it would cost me extra to have it fixed. They left the wall opened up without completing the work and refused to honor their warranty. I watched this company take two months to complete a single room remodel. Often there would be someone "working" all day, with nothing to show for it but two baseboards installed, and a small ceiling painted. They even billed 8 hours of work to tile a 24 square foot space. It was a wide open space with nothing but a cement slab floor. Eight hours? Really? This company is morally questionable and the work they completed resulted in further damage within two months. Absolutely horrible!

This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. The builder became completely incensed when we complained that he would promise to fix something and then never show up to fix it. He refused to speak to us over email when we could tell he was becoming frustrated and instead demanded that he come to the house. He screamed/ yelled and refused to leave when asked repeatedly. He implied (on camera) that if we didn't let him inspect the entire house at that moment he would not fix anything, despite us having another year on our builder warranty. We ended up having to call the sheriff's office and have a trespassing warning issued after the sheriff reviewed the footage. It was a terrible experience- the owner told us during his rampage at our house that reason he was angry- was because he didn't believe we had paid enough for our house! We eventually paid out of our own pocket to fix issues because dealing with this company was absolutely not worth it. This was a really depressing situation to have in a new house.
