I would not recommend and question the credibility of this company. Our Project Manager was named Al and he guaranteed a certain amount that we had for our flooring, and we were so excited to find the perfect flooring, to say he is sorry but his general manager would not approve the additional cost. So we started now at ground zero. If you are a homeowner in Flagstaff, I highly recommend not going with this company. We are waiting for a refund from them so we can begin the search for a trustworthy and caring company. read more

Edge Restoration referred us and they're owned by the same company. We were so disappointed because we had a pretty good experience with Edge Restoration. However, it took over a week for the estimator, Jeff, to come out and when he did he spent most of his time complaining about customers and which types were the "worst " based on their ethnicity. We could not believe it. He then said he would get our estimate back to us in a day or two and it's literally been over a week and he just never got back to us. It was so disappointing given how much we told him it was important to get our home back to normal. We called another contractor who did the estimation and has started construction in about a couple days. I do not recommend using Envy. The customer service is just not there and the urgency to get things done is not taken into consideration. read more

Several years ago, Envy did a lengthy restoration job in my house after most of my roof was blown off in a monsoon storm, resulting in major water damage. One of the jobs they did was rebuilding my master bathroom. Less than a year later, one of the sinks in the bathroom fell down! I called Envy, and they sent someone out to fix it. Over the Christmas holidays this year (when I had several family members staying with me), the other sink in the bathroom fell down! I called Envy, and even though it was the holidays, they got back to me promptly and sent a worker out to evaluate the situation. Several days later, TJ and Robert came out to fix the sink. TJ was the lead worker, and he was friendly and professional, and kept in touch with me with texts and phone calls. Even though the warranty on the original work had only been for two years, Envy agreed that I should not have to pay for the repair job, since it was obvious there had been a problem with the way the two sinks were installed. They could have just told me "sorry, you are past the warranty," but instead they did what was right. Much appreciated! read more

Envy removed old asbestos popcorn ceilings for me during a remodel. After meeting with several companies I decided to us Envy. Not only were they highly professional, they did an amazing job and was spotless when work was completed. Water heater blew up leaving water damaged walls, carpet, and padding in two rooms, a closet, and a hallway. dry out portion of job, including moving of furniture and personal belongings was accomplished quickly and professionally. The restoration and repair portion of the job was orchestrated by TJ, who did an exceptional job scheduling and supervising carpet replacement (whole house), replacement and painting of affected millwork, moving furniture and belongings back, and scheduling a cleaning crew. My wife and I could not be happier with the quality of work performed, the friendliness of all who came into our home, and the level of customer service and professionalism TJ provided. Envy Restoration did repair and restoration of water damage due as the result of a leak in our bathroom ceiling during a rainstorm. the gentleman doing the work was Will Wilson. He was ver courteous and professional. he showed up right on time and went right to work first cleaning out the room and then covering all with plastic sheeting to catch the damaged drywall and insulation. between repair stages he cleaned up and disposed of the trash and then placed more sheeting. The job took two days to allow for drying of the repair and coating and then repainting all. The final result is excellent. Will did a great job and left everything back in place and clean. between tasks he cleaned the tools which surprised me but h explained that although the. company would by new tools every job if he cleaned them they would work well for more jobs and save money! I am very pleased and Envy is fortunate to have Will working for them! Congratulations! read more

On 04/30/20, mildew was discovered on the bathroom cabinet shelve, even though the plumbing lines were dry. Contacted Envy Restoration and Construction and on 05/01/20, Kevin a Mitigation Specialist came out. The moisture meter detected moisture under and around the cabinets. Kevin furnished a detailed estimate for mitigation, sending a copy to my insurance company which explained in detail, the cost; item per item. On 05/02/20 the crew arrived to remove the cabinets, baseboards, molding and countertop. They brought in fans to dry out the affected areas and a dehumidifier This crew was very professional, carefully sealing off the area. On 05/07/20 my plumber discovered and determined there was a leak in the drain pipe. It was repaired and replace with new materials. On 05/11/20, Nick an Estimator here to tabulate and itemized a repair estimate. I received a copy and it was submitted to my insurance company in a timely manner. On 05/20/20 Hector a Project Manager with Envy, evaluated the repairs and on 05/22/20, his assistant installed new drywall and painted the drywall. Cabinets in and installed on 06/09/20 and on 06/10/20, cabinet baseboards replaced and caulked and countertop installed. Hector was on top of this project, organizing the job and even helping with the repairs. He was very knowledgeable, professional, punctual and committed to the job. Envy sent in their plumber on 06/11/20. He added two supply lines and re-established the connection. I want to THANK YOU, Envy Restoration and Construction and especially Hector, for all your help. From the very beginning to the very end, their entire staff including the office, were very accommodating, arriving as scheduled, finishing the cabinets back to their original stain and wood grain and cleaning the construction debris. Envy worked flawlessly with my insurance company, furnishing detailed Mitigation and Repair estimates, in a timely manner. Thank you Envy Restoration and Construction. I contacted Envy for what I thought would be too small of a project for them. We needed two outdoor decorative lighting fixtures installed and electrical ran to them. Jordan came out and gave us a scope of the work involved and even made a few smart suggestions. He was even able to squeeze us in before a New Years party we were having. I used envy restoration to repair some damage done to my roof and ceiling due to heavy rains. They went out there and fixed everything and said they would guarantee the job for two years. Well less than year later I had a leak in the act same area they fixed. They did not reply to my messages and I had to wait about 6 months to get it inspected. Once they inspected it, they said it they wouldn't repair it. I asked to speak with the contractor that fixed it and he no longer worked with the company. Sad thing is they were paid thousands by my insurance and I still have damages inside my home. Because of this I wouldn't recommend this company. However I will reconsider if they honor their two year commitment as promised and go to my house and fix the damages that still exist. Update: Since this review Envy Restoration has been on top of everything and making sure that I am a satisfied customer. They have offered me fair solutions to solve my problem. I have been in communication with one of their representatives in a timely manner. This type of service is definitely 5 star level. Thanks for paying attention to my needs. read more

Worse experience ever with a water damage & restoration company. I will admit that even with my 35+ years in design, commercial & residential construction, & hazmat abatement, I still learned some important lessons. #1. Never trust an insurance company, even the most reputable ones because they can have staff/reps who will lie & cheat their customers for a kick-back. #2. Never use contractors recommended by your insurance company without throughly vetting the contractor. Always ask for references from your insurance company, check these references, & find out how long they have been working for your insurance company &/or its adjustor. Verify that they are not blood related and/or friends. Vet both the adjuster & contractor to eliminate all possibilities of collusion, pay-offs, & kickbacks for the referral. Long term relationships often involve collusion between the adjuster & contractor. 3. Even the most reputable of companies like Envy will resort to fraudulent practices to falsely grow the scope of work to put more money into its pockets. They will lie & cheat customers who they mistakenly presumed were naive customers. We had a drain line leak along one bathroom wall, but, needlessly, they cmpletely demolished the entire $25K bathroom to inflate the job to make more money. Then, Liberty Mutual's.adjustor wanted to only pay $6K & we were told by Envy to go buy used fixtures as they destroyed everything that was less than a year old. They told us to go buy seconds for the tile at some cheap tile outlet. We had completely remodeled and re-plumbed this bathroom just a year before for $25K. We got a price from Re-Bath who is associated with Home Depot, and they priced rebuildong the shower that was needlessly demolished by Envy, 9' away from the leak at the sink area, and Re-Bath quoted $16K to restore/rebuild the shower as originally constructed. Envy suggested getting a prefab shower for under $1K. This is in a high-end Scottsdale home on Camelback Road. Envybare scammers, theives, & in cahoots with Libeet Mutual's claims adjustor. The day I walked into the bathroom to see how the had cut into the slab and saw our entire bathroom demolished to the studs & masonry walls, I not only screamed, "You're fired! Get the hell out of our house!", I also found that they cut out a 2' x 2' piece of carpet in the middle of the master bedroom which was 100% unnecessary as the carpet had not been damaged. They did it to grow the job. That carpet was not even a year old & nobody had even lived in the house since it was remodeled. Envy had nothing but idiots working in the field and scammers as supervisors and management. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

We are so happy we found Envy. We had several home upgrade projects we wanted to get done and Envy was able to get them all done for us before the holidays so we could enjoy the home with family. Our project manager Dean helped us every step of the way. His level of knowledge, keen insight and creative touch helped our vision become a reality and because of his help, the result was better than we could have hoped for. Each worker who came to the house was kind, professional and excellent at their job. When the jobs were complete, they even had a clean-up crew come to clean every speck of dust from the construction. Believe it or not, one of the companies actually "butt dialed" me at home by accident!! I could hear everything going on in the office. Nothing bad was said, but really?? My review of Envy is mixed. There were good things, and certainly a lot of bad things throughout this entire painful and lengthy process. The good: Project Manager Juan. Professional, Kind, knowledgeable and responsive. The bad: He was not the 1st Project Manager, they assigned to my case. Juan was called in to clean up the mess left by the 1st PM Josh. Josh was either unqualified as a PM, grossly negligent, lazy or sketchy as heck. He hired his father to do the drywall repair, and the end product looked like something my 7 year-old could have done. It was atrocious. Juan hired people like "Tate" and his team, who really seem to know their stuff with drywall and baseboards. The bad: no one tells you that when they tear your house apart and manipulate the contents of your home, you are the one responsible for putting everything back. My daughter's bed and my large dresser were taken apart, but not put back together. ALL the closet shelves were removed and left in the garage. I still have blue tape left on certain doors, vents in the bathroom and master bedroom closet that are still covered with cloth and blue tape. They removed all the metallic doorstops when they replaced the baseboards, but didn't put a single one of them back. So now I have no doorstops on the baseboard and nothing to replace them with. Just gone. So now doors swing all the way to the wall. Every piece of furniture removed from the office, including my large wooden desk, filing cabinet and desktop computer, were all placed in the garage and simply left there. I was never told that putting everything back together and back into the home would fall on me. I was never told that cleaning up after the construction crew were complete with the job, would fall on me. I love my new floors. They are beautiful and I am happy with the look of it, but when your insurance company spends almost $46K, and you still get a bill for an additional $17.5K, you would think that would at least include putting all the shelves back up, furniture back together, replacing the doorstops, and bringing things back into the house. But now I learned, the falls in the homeowner. Another thing to note: The tile guys and the Envy demolition crew are filthy men. Wherever they eat, you will know. Whatever they eat, you will know. When they use your toilet or your tub to relieve themselves, you will know. They will not try to clean up after themselves or hide their disrespect of your home. You will know exactly what rooms they have occupied. Whether from their empty beverage cans, water bottles, food trash, straight razors, or body fluids they leave behind, you will know. Juan was very quick to address the issues brought to his attention. He always did his very best to make things right for me. He knows his stuff. My only regret is not knowing enough about restoration to ask the right questions - like how with almost $63K in total charges, how in heaven's sake did I get stuck cleaning up beige paint from my white ceiling, brown grout from my walls and baseboards, and all the contents that the Envy crew moved into my garage, I am not left on my own to move back into the house, put them back together, put the closet shelves up and replace all the doorstops Envy took. As I said at the beginning - mixed feelings about Envy. My new floors look great. Juan called the right tile people for the job, but trust that if you use Envy, ask for full disclosure upfront so there are no surprises, and so you don't find yourself in s similar situation. Could never speak to anyone but an estimator.. I asked repeatedly for management.. Was either told they were closed or someone would get back to me.. Had some leak in my upstair bathroom on a Saturday afternoon..and had water dripping downstairs too ...called up Envy and explained them the issue. They were very helpful in understanding the situation and ready to come home to give an estimate. Dean came home within 20-30 mins with his scanner & tool to check the moisture. He showed me the wet spots and figured its a minor leak and should dry up automatically.. suggested to just use some fan for 48 hour to help the drying process. Thats a service i like.. Rosie and Kevin did a phenomenal job on a fire damaged home. The home had extensive smoke damage, from a heating blanket that started the master bedroom on fire. The entire house required smoke remediation due to the smell. Kevin's crew was professional and completed the work according to the timeline we agreed upon. Kevin even took the time to pull permits with the City of Phoenix, which was a big time saver for me. I've had ENVY do 2 drywall repairs from my techs accidently making a boo boo. Work wise they guys are awesome! scheduling is a bit hazy so that's pretty frustrating when trying to coordinate between them & your customers. Best experience ever! I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience in working with Envy Restoration, specifically Landon McKown. After our home flooded last fall because the master tub faucet had been improperly installed during a previous remodel, we contacted our home owner's insurance company and started the process of blowers, fans, cutting dry wall and repainting. When that restoration company was done we were still left with the faucet laying in the tub and a whole in the tile floor. Since this was the first time we had ever used our home insurance policy, it was all a learning process for us. Landon was referred to me by a friend as someone who could help me understand how a claim on your insurance works; what is covered and repaired and what is not. He was so gracious with his time educating me on the process and offering to come out and look at our bathroom. Once he came out and met with my husband and I, explaining how to complete the restoration, I knew this was the company I wanted to work with. Throughout the project, Landon was consistently in contact with me, provided timely follow up, called ahead to the plumbing store where I needed to buy a new faucet so they were familiar with the situation and personally met the contractors at our home to ensure they were all on the same page. We even completed the project well under what we had estimated it to cost. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and follow through. They were very responsive and quick to respond to repairing my roof due to time contraints in changing Insurance companies. The roof was completed within 2 days, and they did an EXCELLENT JOB!!!! From the initial walk through with Kevin and my insurance rep to the finishing touches with Bill's crew, I really enjoyed working with Envy. We had an interior roof leak into our front room and our back patio leaked as well. The inside room was sealed to block any mold spores from spreading. Our entire patio had the drywall removed. Both areas were treated for mold. The roofing team was excellent and even found an additional issue which was fixed. The drywall team was great - it's hard to tell that there was an issue.The roof has been tested by recent rains and it has held up as well. Great job Envy! read more
