I had a really great experience buying a mattress and base from Purple. I had seen one of their mattresses at Living Spaces and the person there told me to check the store at Valley Fair to see a larger selection. I went and looked in person to see what they had, and I liked the most expensive one there that was about $7K. I couldn't really justify buying that, so I did a bit more research and took their quiz online for recommendations, and I ended up selecting the Restore Plus Hybrid which was about half of that price! I also saw they were having Presidents' Day deals when I signed up on their website. When I went back, knowing more about what I wanted, I ended up talking to Daryl, who is one of the best service employees I've met in a LONG time. I saw a lot of other reviews here mentioning him, and I hope his manager knows what a gem he is. Daryl helped me in getting a quote for the mattress and frame I wanted and emailed it to me. I asked him a question via email and he got back to me, offering me a bit more of a discount. When I was ready to buy, I came into the store and waited until he was available to help me complete the transaction. He helped me to not only get the best price but that I should check if my credit card had cash-back deals, saving me even more money! I felt like he was very genuine and looking out for me. We bought a top-of-the-line mattress (at the time), and base from here. The mattress felt great during the trial period, but sagged severely within the first year. I'm waiting to see if this will be covered by their "10 year warranty" . Purple apparently charges a $200 fee to replace a mattress even if it's covered by their warranty. I'm on the fence about whether to replace it even if the warranty claim is approved, because I don't want to have to make a claim and pay an extra $200 every year on top of what I already paid, just to not have to deal with backaches. read more

I did a lot of research on Purple Mattresses and I'm glad I did. My partner and I have different sleep preferences, so I needed a mattress that would be comfortable for both of us. The Purple RestorePremiere Soft was the perfect solution. Ashwin at Valley Fair showroom was great! He was very helpful and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. He made sure I was getting the right mattress for my needs, and really sold me on the RestorePremiere and the pillow set. The mattress arrived on time and was delivered by a white glove delivery service. The delivery team was excellent! They carefully removed it from the box and placed it on my bed. However, when they unrolled the mattress, we were disappointed to see that it had holes in it and the coils were exposed and warped. The mattress was also lopsided, like a taco. The delivery team called Purple customer service and they were very apologetic. They said that the mattress must have been damaged in transit. They said that they would send me a replacement mattress right away. I am still waiting for the replacement mattress, but I'm hopeful that it will arrive soon. Overall, I think the Purple RestorePremiere Soft mattress is a great option for people who are looking for a comfortable, supportive, and high-quality mattress. If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy one, I would recommend taking advantage of the 100-night sleep trial to see if it's right for you. I would also like to add that Purple customer service has been decent. They have been very responsive and helpful, but not as timely as I would have hoped for at a mattress this price. However, they have had a large amount of inquiries lately, so response times have been slower than usual, as they have let me know. This is unfortunate, but I understand that they are doing their best to handle the high volume of requests. Unfortunately i've waited 2-3 days between responses due to this period of inquiries, but hoping for some clarity soon. I am still very happy with my purchase and I would recommend Purple Mattresses to anyone looking for a new mattress. Their 100-day return policy also helped. I have tried and failed all kinds of mattresses: memory-foam, hybrid, spring, pillow-tops. None held up and would sag overtime, causing my back/spine to misalign and leading to back pain and insomnia. I was ready to sling a hammock in my room, yikes. I had this mattress for over 3 months now and it is holding up nicely, haven't slept this well in years. "Check the website" completely defeats the purpose of paying rent to have a physical store. The two female associates told me to look at the website but when I looked their adjustable base is totally different than the one in the store. Different remotes, different features. I did online research for pillows, but it's best to feel it in person. So she and I went to each sleep store in Valley Fair and Santana Row. I liked some of the other stores, but Purple intrigued me. It's probably that their Sasquatch commercial is brilliant advertising. We visited the Purple store last. Pillow Review: I liked some of the other pillows at the other stores, but I kept feeling like it was too hot or stiff. Purple's pillows are a game changer. The design of the grid allows air to go through and keep the pillow cool throughout the night. The grid feeling of the pillow is non-existent with an allergy pillow cover and pillow case on, but the airflow is still there. Ask Angelica about how their pillow is more hypoallergenic than other brands! I move in my sleep, side, back, and stomach and all over my queen sized bed. Sometimes I sandwich my face between two pillows while laying on my side. So finding pillows to match my needs is hard. And my neck always feels stiff. With Angelica's help I tried two of their pillows and bought both. The Medium Harmony and the Purple Pillow. I had to have the Purple Pillow shipped to my house. I did walk out with the medium harmony. I took a nap as soon as I got home, as I was going to be up late for celebrating New Years. The product is good but the service is terrible. I bought a pillow a month ago and request for exchange. They said it will be delivered in 3 to 5 business day. However, they didn't provided any tracking information and they have took my original order. A week later, I haven't received the exchange, I call to customer support and find the exchange doesn't show up in the system at all. I have to call to the store and customer support back and forth to resolve this issue. They also give me different instruction from the customer support. It's really confusing. I don't have my pillow for around days and need to wait for more than ten days before the new one arrive. This is really unacceptable. read more
