This establishment offers the opportunity to play and bond with cats before possibly adopting them! Mews and Brews sources the cats from Dorchester Paws and gives patrons the option to adopt for $50. All of the adoption funds go straight back to the shelter. The establishment offers cozy seating options and toys to help you get your "cat fix"! There are plenty of cats to go around, so don't worry about that! Drink options include coffee, tea (hot and iced), hot chocolate, and water. In addition to the beverages, they also have some yummy snack options. All of the employees are very friendly and the owner was working the front desk, so the atmosphere was very personable and welcoming!!

The spot is a bit hard to find if you're heading there later like we did. No clear signage except through one of the windows. Hopefully they'll get better signage moving forward. Cafe is decent - They have standard coffee, tea, and pastries. They also recently got cleared to serve liquor. They're still working on upgrades, like a way to heat up the pastries. If they can serve warm food, plus some espresso drinks made to order - this place will definitely be a hit. Maybe a place to wash your hands after/before playing with kitties (aside from the bathroom) would also be an appropriate upgrade. That said, the cats are so sweet, and staff is SO helpful. The place is still pretty new so they're working out some kinks. But overall I think Mews and Brews got something special going on! Make sure to check them out :) But please, don't go if you're not gonna be respectful to the animals or you're just going for "pics." Please be a genuine animal lover/cat person.

The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Three thumbs up, five stars. Highly recommend.

The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again.

The price was under $30 for an 1 hr and 15 minute session. Yoga and a beverage such as coffee, mimosa, or tea was offered after class. The instructor and staff were super friendly and it was such a welcoming environment. The cats are all up for adoption so it was such a great experience to interact and see their personalities. I highly recommend checking out this spot if you are a cat/animal lover and want to try something new!

The inside doesn't smell the best, which staff voluntarily admitted was not normal. The 'cafe' is in the back separate from the cats. It's truly not a cafe. They have all the same drinks that would be offered a a doctors office or church lobby (hot/cold coffee, hot/iced tea, hot chocolate. Etc). They also have wine. This is not a coffee shop with espresso drinks. This is a very cat-forward experience. The furniture is verryyy cheap and clearly came from Amazon which was fine for no more than a one hour experience. The cats were friendly and so was the staff. I'm glad we tried this for a Saturday date but it's not a place we would repeatedly go.
