All of the adoption funds go straight back to the shelter. The establishment offers cozy seating options and toys to help you get your "cat fix"! There are plenty of cats to go around, so don't worry about that! Drink options include coffee, tea (hot and iced), hot chocolate, and water. Maybe a place to wash your hands after/before playing with kitties (aside from the bathroom) would also be an appropriate upgrade. That said, the cats are so sweet, and staff is SO helpful. Well I finally caught them open on a Friday before 4pm because I was able to leave town early. I ended up chatting with the owner and he's a super nice guy. He's been running the place for almost 7 years and the hours are based on him running the place on his own. If you catch them closed one day, he may have just needed a day off because they are open 7 days a week. I wanted something cold and asked about the iced cafe which he told me had a shot of espresso and that the ice cubes were made of kona coffee so there was no watering down the drink. I was sold. While he put it together I snagged some chocolate chip cookies which were the perfect car snack and some espresso candies that I remember from back in the day. Plus my coffee was great too. I hope that I can connect with them whenever I'm driving that route and will definitely be more inclined to stop if I see them open.
