Dog friendly campground. No issues whatsoever with our guy .

Came for another camping trip for the 2025 year. Thankfully they allow kayaks, paddle boards on the water with the mussel outbreak. Boats still need the 30 day inspection process as of April 2025. Water levels were high! We tried site 122 this time as was not disappointed. Sites are first come first serve but during nonpeak season it wasnt busy or crowded. Staff was friendly per usual. The store doesnt open until May 1 so the closest store is Turtle Rock (about 20 mins from campground).

    Lake view from campsite.

I've been coming here for 20 plus years. It's a beautiful drive to and from. You can't beat the lake access either with or without boats. Most camp site right along the lake. The bathroom facilities are minimal but you are camping. If no showers is a deal breaker then this is not the campground for you. Love this spot!!

Love this place, every time I go with my family and friends it's a memorable time, with cristal clear water for swimming and nice spots to fishing, definitely recommend this place.

Great nook in a giant lake to swim float kayak. Only porto-loos though. Spots are pretty good size and easy accessibility to the lake.

We are getting into camping this year and this was our trial run with all the new gears we bought. We rented camper site #1 which is labeled as "premium". Maybe it was a bit bigger than the regular sites but other than that it didn't feel particularly premium. Since #1 and 48 are the first and last sites in the campground loop and closest to the visitor center, they had the best WiFi reception. The downside is we were the farthest to the bathrooms and showers which were located on the opposite site of the loop. This made trekking over at night a bit inconvenient. The bathrooms were somewhat clean and the showers are coin-operated at the cost of 25c per minute. Shampoo and body wash were provided which is nice. All in all this was a nice introductory experience for us. If we were to come back to camp at this park we will opt for site #3 which is nicely tucked into the shaded corner and is fairly close to the bathrooms.

Trails and even a swimming pool that's open on the weekends. The park is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and a great atmosphere. The hike though the redwoods (Redwood Trail and Richie Canyon) is well shaded and requires that you traverse a bubbling, active creek with wet stones to do the entire loop. The creek was still active in early summer, with small waterfalls and slippery stones in the creek bed. Fine for a regular hiker with great balance (and water shoes), but difficult for those with physical limitations or who can't afford a fall on slippery surfaces. It's a beautiful setting here, but with so much poison oak right off the path, and past experience with the rough side of poison oak, we opted to tread carefully. Come early in the day for a cooler hike, and try to stick to the trail so that you don't accidentally rub up on potential dangers, and leave this park with more than you'd intended.

Yes please, I shouldn't write this review because the park will start being sold out! LOL So, I will be bringing my 2nd home here from now on while visiting the area! We wine tasted Friday and Saturday going out to dinner 2 of our 3 nights. We didn't spend a lot of time outside the RV with all those things to do. You do have to pay attention to not miss entrance but I read that it was at the fair grounds and my maps took me right to the entrance. It is a very small park of about 40 pads almost all pull throughs with full hook ups. Huge sites for all rigs. The sites all come with a picnic table, a small section of grass, and a very level cement pad. All utilities worked perfect for us. There is a trash and recycle can dumped daily at every other site! The office check in was fine for us. I however wasn't comparing the check in at a fairgrounds RV Park to a Michelin Star Restaurant or an award winning winery! LOL There was a Wifi code that I didn't get written down but I have my own Wifi so no biggie for me. I didn't need to use the park bathroom or shower on site as my travel trailer have those amenities. So I can't rate that for you. The biggest nuisance was the PGE yard being behind RV Park and they are starting and backing trucks with bells in around 5:30AM on weekdays.

I did love the playground for our littles--we got lucky and got camp spots right next to one. River access was easy. Does get packed due to the fact they allow day users to access as well. We checked in on Sunday and stayed until Thursday. Give or take 3 whole days/night of the bathroom not being cleaned. Showers had clumps of hair, razors left on the floor--just gross honestly. I brought it to the attention of the maintenance guy to kindly ask when they would be cleaning next, to be answered with," I'm not sure, you can drive to the other bathrooms." Brought it to the attention to the guy in charge at the front, where I was then rudely spoken over as he answered the phone mid conversation, to then continue with their regular lady has Covid and he's had complaints about this maintenance guy a few times now. He did ask to give us free ice but I declined and said I just wanted clean bathrooms. Then to top it off, as any camp night slows down around a fire, laughs are had and stories are told, a worker comes over to tell us to be quit and accuses us of being on drugs(acid) to be exact. SMH. What a completely ignorant moron. Yes we were laughing and being a little loud, but no excuse for a worker to speak to any guest this way. Owners apologized but like I said for what we paid, the distance some of us drove and how we were treated--would not waste my money again.

There's just something special about coming back to the same place year after year and making new memories. The campground is nestled among the oak woodlands above Spring Lake, and I love that you get that feeling of being away camping while still being right in Santa Rosa. Most of the campsites are spacious and they each have a picnic table, fire pit and lockable storage. There are restrooms, showers, potable water and an RV dump station available. One of the biggest reasons we keep coming back is how much there is to do. You can walk, hike or bike the beautiful trails around the park, fish in the lake, launch a kayak or paddleboard, or enjoy the swimming lagoon and its floating water playground, which is my stepson's favorite thing to do while camping. There's even the Environmental Discovery Center, which is such a fun educational experience for kids. I also love the convenience of being close to everything. If you forget something while camping, need groceries, or want to grab a meal, you're just a short drive from Santa Rosa. At the same time, once you're at the campground, it feels like you've escaped the everyday hustle. The campground also offers sleeping cabins, including an ADA-accessible cabin, which is a great option for people who want to enjoy the camping experience without sleeping in a tent. After five years of making this an annual tradition, Spring Lake has become more than just a campground for us--it's a place filled with memories. From sitting around the campfire and enjoying time together to exploring the lake and trails during the day, it's an easy place to fall in love with. If you're looking for a convenient, family-friendly campground with nature, recreation and plenty to do, I highly recommend Spring Lake Regional Park!

We stayed at Pleasure Cove Campground and had a pretty good experience overall…read more One of the biggest advantages was availability. We were able to book our campsite only two weeks in advance while many other campgrounds in the area were already fully booked. The price was reasonable, especially considering that bathrooms and hot showers were included. We chose a campsite close to the shower building, although the campground map on the website doesn't provide much information about the surrounding areas of each site. Upon arrival, the access code had already been texted to us, making check-in quick and hassle-free. Our campsite had several trees that provided plenty of shade, and there were BBQ grills available for use, although campfires were not permitted during our stay. The campsite was also conveniently located near the lake access area for water activities. The water gets noticeably cleaner as you move into deeper areas. There is also a small convenience store located at the far end of the campground for basic supplies. The biggest drawbacks were the shower and restroom facilities. The shower stalls felt somewhat run-down, with low water pressure and water temperatures that were excessively hot. After dark, there were a lot of bugs and spiders around the facilities. The bathroom lights were not working during our stay, so we were thankful to have a powerful flashlight with us. Another challenge was the local wildlife. There were quite a few skunks roaming the campground, and they seemed very interested in digging through trash and food storage areas. We ended up storing our food and snacks inside the tent every night and whenever we left the campsite for water activities. Cell phone service was also a major issue. We have T-Mobile, and despite showing 1 bar of 5G, 2 bars of LTE, or even satellite connectivity, data service was essentially unusable. Apps like Facebook, Instagram, and even basic web pages would often fail to load. If you need reliable connectivity for work or communication, be prepared for limited service. Overall, it was a positive experience. It's a campground, not a luxury resort, and it provided the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. Having running water, hot showers, lake access, and decent campsite amenities made it a worthwhile trip. We would consider staying here again. Pros: Easy booking, reasonable price, shade trees, lake access, convenience store, and included showers and bathrooms. Cons: Run-down showers, poor lighting in restrooms, bugs and spiders at night, persistent skunks around campsites, and very limited cell service.
