And when I first joined they were willing to work with me on a dental plan that works for me. Now it is aggressive treatment and pressure sells that requires X-rays every 6 months and deep cleanings. I understand she is working on joining another practice. I would keep a lookout and try to sign on to wherever she lands. I've been a patient of Dr. Kern for over 20 years. She has done routine cleanings, x-rays, light restorative work for chipped teeth and made molds and maintained nighttime mouthguards for me. Dr. Kern takes incredible pride in her work, is motivated to employ the most useful and modern technology in her work, and will explain in detail why she is making the dental recommendations she offers for your situation. Which means you always see the same people and they get to know your mouth Dr Kern is extremely thorough and discusses multiple options with you. She helps you prioritize dental issues and the office is willing to work out a plan to maximize insurance coverage. The office is up on all the latest dental technologies- for instance sealants on kids teeth to help prevent cavities My only negative is the time. The office can be slow. A cleaning typically takes 1-1/2 hours. Always add a half hour into your schedule over your scheduled appointment time. As long as you realize that you will be here a long time and plan accordingly, you will be fine.

I visited last week for a second opinion on veneers. The whole process was smooth and extremely…read moreprofessional. Their online Covid 19 protocol put me at ease to visit the office. I spent 30 seconds in the check-in area to wear new gloves, new mask, have my temperature checked, then 1-2 minutes with the dental assistant getting me ready to be seen, 10-15 minutes with the doctor, and 30 seconds to get me out of the building from the backdoor to separate me from incoming patients. It was one of the best visits to a dentist, no time wasted waiting in the waiting room (by the way, there was no one waiting in the waiting room either). I was seen by doctor Alaa Alwazzan, who seemed prepared and aware of my case and medical history. He gave me an opinion that I didn't except because usually doctor's never say no to cosmetic procedures, so I appreciated his opinion. He recommended Invisalign treatment if I insisted to close small spaces between my front teeth. Two things that can be improved. 1. They don't accept insurances, however, they can bill your insurance but You will have to cover the remaining amount that your insurance wouldn't pay. 2. There are too many forms to fill out, some online and some on paper, maybe because I am a new patient. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, honesty and I think they deserve 5/5.
