I think I had to wait maybe 5 minutes. Nothing major at all. His bedside manor is great. He's easy to talk to. He listens to me and truly seems to care about my concerns. He explained things to me in a way that was very easy to understand during my consultation. Today, during my epidural, he was great at keeping me calm and talked me through each step of the way. When the procedure was over, I was shocked at how quickly and flawless the entire procedure was. I actually said, "That's it?" Dr. Lee and his team were fantastic! Thank you! Prior to meeting with Dr. Lee, I met with Dr. Koutsoumbelis. I left one orthopedic group on LI to switch to Dr. K who was highly recommended to me by a top PT on Long Island. Dr. K added me to his Friday schedule within an hour of hearing about my case. Since I was a last minute addition to his schedule, I wasn't sure what to expect. Not once did I feel rushed during our appointment. He has a great bedside manor. He had me laughing during one of the most stressful days of my life. He was truly optimistic and therefore I felt optimistic. He connected with me (he skis and I snowboard) and even took time to tell me about mountains I should check out when I'm in Colorado this April. It's rare to be able to connect with a doctor. They usually want you in and out of their office ASAP. That wasn't my experience with Dr. K and Dr. Lee for that matter. He's progressive and smart. He instantly put me on a very helpful regimen. I left Dr. K's office feeling hopeful and motivated to get started. Overall, I am very pleased with both Dr. Lee and Dr. K. There are two television for your entertainment, both have closed caption. This is a doctor's office so patients is a valuable quality. Your name is called, you are escorted to the offices in the back. Once you're done you will go to the front checkout and you're given other information pertaining to your visit or appointment. If you need forms filled, submit them before you leave and ask for them to be emailed and check your spam folder if you don't receive the request documents. (LOOK FOR SIGNS ON EXIT from the examine room). I find that early appointments, before 10 a.m is better. Even though there is a huge parking lot. There's a physical therapy office around the corner to your left as you walk in and there's 2 other offices that you will pass when driving in. I still have to use a cane to get around when my back hurts depending on the pain. I have literally been in some sort of pain everyday for going on four years now. Every single time I am in pain and every single time had been in pain since that day I think about how I was treated at that biased appointment. After researching I learned that I am not the only person that has been mistreated by this doctor.

I don't know how this woman is allowed to continue her practice with actions like this...I didn't go into that office expecting to be treated like a vagrant, no one visiting any MD in any capacity should ever have to walk away feeling the way I felt.
