We went to Puttshack a couple of weekends ago with some friends. We were a group of six and made the reservation online for a Friday night around 8.30 pm (reservation is 100% recommended, if not, waiting time can take up to a couple of hours depending on how packed the place is). We checked in for the Emerald area (which is 9 holes game). Before going upstairs we decided to get some drinks because we didn't see any bar upstairs in that specific area of playing. We spent 15 min trying to order a drink at the bar, the bartender was not friendly and her vibe was not friendly at all. After a while, we were finally able to place an order but she was not nice, plus she took forever to get us one basic cocktail, two draft beers, and a bottle of wine. We finally went upstairs to start our game and there was a line, so we waited like 10 min (it moved quickly after all). The game took like 45 min for our group of 6 and each hole has a different activity so it's great for a group plan! The space for the 9 holes game is pretty small though, we thought it was all the second floor but no, it is just 1/3 of the second floor. Before leaving, we got a table to order some food and that was great! The food was delicious. Service was ok but the food was great! We got Jackfruit Baos and some salads. Came here last month for a friend's farewell get-together before she left Miami. Right as I was going up the escalator, I noticed a sign that said there were no kids allowed past a certain time (7 or 8pm I think) which I think is great, as the place is geared toward adults. That won some brownie points for me. Place is really nice looking, has indoor and outdoor seating available for table service, and there are 3 bars - main bar as soon as you walk in, one bar for the course on the first floor and one bar for the course on the second floor. I pulled up early and posted up at the main bar waiting for my group to arrive, was taken care of by Clarissa who was pretty cool and very attentive. Others not so much, lots of gossip and it's tacky to do in front of guests. I didn't try the food here but will look to do so next time and see how it goes. Once my group got there we were sorted to the first floor course but it was crowded, so we asked to go upstairs instead since it was 10 of us. I'd recommend no more than 8 people in your party, though. Luckily, we chose to hang out at a good time because once we got to the 3rd hole, it got really packed upstairs too. The course play is tech powered, which smoothes game play nicely, and you're allowed to order drinks as you play, which is cool. Though I will say it can slow up the game and I can see it getting messy/sloppy quick (some people just can't handle it tbh). I do agree with other Yelpers that the place could use more organization and adequate number of staff to cover the spread. For example, course bars should have at least 2 people behind the bar, two people waiting tables, and a floater jumping in where they're needed at the given moment. Main Bar should have double since there'd be people working the outside. Ventilation is a must outside as well, and maybe some heat lamps for the really cold days. Overall I'd come back to give it another go, hopefully it holds out and continues to improve! read more

I've been to Puttshack's around the country and this one is absolutely terrible. It starts with the miserable hostess who does not want to help anyone and looks as if she wishes she were somewhere else. No one at coat check- just because it's a sweltering mess outside doesn't mean I don't have some bags I don't want to carry around during play but of course I had to. Only 2 of 3 courses were open and one had 20 people in line (this was a weekday night). It took the girl over 20 minutes to explain to a group how to play. If you are going to have a corporate group come in, they should be taken to a room and taught there, not while people are waiting. In fact, there should be a video like waiting in line at Disney that explains it. If you have let's say a 4:30 start time they will allow people with 4-5pm start times also. Their timing system is so bad. We had people in front of us that weren't due for 15 more minutes being allowed on causing overcrowding and delays. The course is painfully slow to play the 9 holes. So much so it is more of a chore than entertainment. If you want to have some fun, this is not the place... if you do go and you have kids be ready to entertain them in between holes 10-20 minutes or longer. Oh and the crowd control was so bad this night you couldn't even walk between holes- because they are very cramped and there were way too many people allowed to play at once. Best advice if you are going to try this is figure out when no one else will be there. Then your $18 or so to play 9 holes will last you about 15 minutes. FORE! read more

Took the kiddos out on Saturday for some Tia tee-time! The place was hard to find - apparently the city center had an issue with allowing signage we learned later. Anyhoo, we registered at the front and when we got upstairs it was a bit of a wait to get to the first section. I would recommend coming another day since this is probably their busiest day. I really loved the look of this place - reminded me of Dave and Busters but classier. The outdoor lounge area was a nice touch too. And you can take your fur baby too! Our waitress saved the day with my flatbread order - I had ordered it at the bar while the kiddos were playing but the bartender forgot to get it - not sure what happened - she went looking for it - we were starving by then. Don't have the photos of the food - sorry but I was pleasantly surprised by the Nutella s'mores flatbread! Looking forward to coming back with friends on a week night perhaps. Awful service, awful experience. We came here to celebrate a birthday and one of the machines on our course malfunctioned and we had to wait for over 30 minutes to be fixed. No apology, no free game for next time, nothing. Then because of this, we were late to our table reservation and the server didn't want to seat us because they close the kitchen at 10 pm. it was 8 pm. We can order and eat and be gone before even 9:30. She then told us we couldn't order directly at the bar and had to close our tabs to order with her and that our group of 16 could only be on two tabs (so she can get the most gratuity possible). After that many of us didn't even want to order with her. Why would we when we were being treated as if we were a nuisance? Then the remaining party was escorted out at 9:30 as if they had done something wrong. We were celebrating a BIRTHDAY. This is not how you do business, Puttshack. I was so excited for this location to be open, now we're never going back. Don't waste your money. read more

This place is awesome and I can't wait until the location in Dania is finished. The whole experience was incredible. The ball is electronically tagged to you and you don't have to worry about it. I had a beer and it was reasonably priced. We played eigthteen holes and all of them were fun. There were a couple of really hard ones and of course, a couple of easier ones. The two courses were challenging and we all had a great time. There was one hole where the score wasn't being recorded and we let a staff member know. She informed us that we have to wait at least thirty seconds between each putt or the system doesn't always record the score correctly. This location is a little further away than a typical night out and thus, I probably will only come back maybe once or twice. However, once the Dania location is built, I can see my wife, kids and I playing a few rounds of putt putt fairly often. It is expensive and I hope that they will eventually offer coupons or some sort of VIP Rewards program. I highly recommend this for a family (or date) night out. read more

I went with a few friends for my 47th birthday just this evening. I had never been to this area in Brickell so I thought it would be fun to try out and get to experience this awesome mini golf facility. I booked and registered all of my party in advance online which was super easy to do. I booked a game for 5:30 and a table for 6:15. The plan was to play and then eat right after. When we arrived at 5:15 we went to a front desk that looked like a check in. They had machines you could register at but we were preregistered. I stood at the check in area while 3 employees talked amongst each other trying to resolve some kind of situation so I was patient and waited. A few minutes later they finished and all three left without saying a word to me or anyone else that was waiting. Finally another lady ran over and asked if we needed help. Again, this is our first time here so we were a little lost. I showed her my reservation and so she looked us up then sent us upstairs to the Ruby course. We got there but my name was not on the "list" for quite a while. Finally it was our turn to go. We got our clubs and our balls and then we were told we could do the course in any order we liked which threw me off. We decided to simply do them in order to keep it simple but of course, others were not doing that so we had people "cutting" in front of us at different holes. We weren't in a hurry so we let it go especially since there seemed to be no order kept in this place. We finished our golf at exactly 6:15, just in time for our table reservation. We went to the tables and told them we had a reservation and we were sent back downstairs to check in, again. We followed the hostess back up the stairs and to the very table we were just standing in front of. This was getting chaotic. We took our seat and waited on the wait staff to take our orders. This took quite a while but again, we weren't in a hurry so no biggie. We ordered our food and drinks (water) and I ordered a draft beer. My beer sat on the bar counter for quite a while before the waiter brought it over. Our food came out about 15 minutes later (not bad for Miami service) but my wife's order was wrong. They redid her order and came back with it but it was still wrong. So they brought all her ingredients for her power bowl on the side including the chicken and she put it together herself. I'm not a complainer, we thanked the waiter for his efforts and enjoyed the rest of the night. Be aware that they do not split tickets by item if you're in a group. They can only split by dollar amount. The good part is the food was delicious. I had the Pitmaster flatbread, Miami tailpipes and the empeñadas. We also had the hummus and the power bowl with chicken. All the food was good if you like this type of food. The miniature golf was a fun course but I do think it's a bit expensive for only 9 holes. All other miniature golf is 18 holes for half the price. We may go back, but it will be a while. Hopefully it's more enjoyable for others. read more

Swanky mini golfing like never before. The 9 hole course was really fun and creative. Dress code - pretty much anything goes. Some people are dressed very casual and others in heels and club attire. I personally would opt for something sort of in the middle. A little dressed up, but comfortable. You're not doing a ton of walking since the 9 holes are sort of all jammed together, but you will be standing most of the night. Even with your reservation (we had an 8:50 reservation and didn't actually make it onto the course until about 9:30ish) you'll be waiting in line. Not a big deal to me as I used the time to go back and forth to the bar and socialize with my friends. We didn't try the food, but there seemed to be a pretty good menu. Drinks were OKAY. Just okay. Atmosphere - super interesting. Very hip. There was a DJ on the first floor which adds to the vibe. Music was REALLY loud. I sound like a Karen and trust me I'm not. I'm the type to blow out my speakers I like my music so loud, but this was a little too much. I could barely hear my friends. It's literally on the same decibel as it is in a night club. PARKING - okay, now I'll be a Karen. MY PERSONAL OPINION: I H-A-T-E parking in Brickell. There are the parking garages at Brickell city centre which is what you'll want to opt for choosing. Look for the security desk in the shopping area for a validated parking slip. I believe it only gives you half off, but that's better than nothing. Price - I think I paid $19 and I was with a group of 9. My friend booked the slot, so I'm not sure if that altered the price. Definitely worth it. I'd also like to mention if you're going here on a first date, I'd warn you that's probably not the best option. To reiterate, it's so loud and there's a lot of time where you're just standing around in line waiting to get on the course. read more

New put put spot in Brickell. It's nice to have something like this in Brickell because there aren't many activity type places here. I love put put and was very excited when I found out this was coming to town. There is a good amount of seating outside and at the bar areas. The inside is clean and has fun written all over it. We arrived pretty early incase there was a crowd on a weekday. The kiosk station was simple and easy to understand and they had someone there to assist if you needed any help. The put put - there was a party of 7 in front of us (2) , we waited for them but then skipped a hole . Total time to get through the 9 hole course was about 15 min. I noticed when we left it had become more crowded and there were several large parties waiting to play. It just seemed like the play area is too packed and the price seems high for what you get. All in all was a fun time and will give it another try but would be better if there was more space in the play area and or it was more than 9 holes. There is a course downstairs that looked like no one was playing ,would be better if they made the course 18 holes and you finish there. That way it would take longer than 15 min and you don't feel ripped off. The bar food was descent , server was attentive. read more

The mini golf is only nine holes all electronic with state of the art scoring but still tones of fun and a little challenging depending g on the course you sign up for. Lots of laughs and fun. You can order drinks and keep them with you while you play. They have a huge two stories. Bars and tables on both top and bottom. Great lively music playing keeping the vibes upbeat. They have a room for private parties and a live Dj makes that music throughout the place. We also had some appetizers and some dessert before we hit the road. Both were amazing. The meatball flatbread was very good. Chunks of meatballs loaded with cheese and basil on a thin soft crusted pizza bread. Our drinks were called the smokin painkiller. Comes in a wooden box chest as you open the box the smoke exits while the drink is revealed leaving g that Smokey taste. Mad with DonQ rum and Pussers British rum with fresh lime,pineapple and orange juice. Also had the espresso creme brûlée and beignets and also sticky toffee banana cake. Both were amazing. What an amazing place to spend with your special date, or a family night out w/ a beer or cocktail while in Miami on vacay was the perfect spot to enjoy miniature golf while having a great time with family. The vibes were great. Good music was playing. It was Thursday night made reservations for party of 4 at 7pm to 9pm and the traffic & parking suck!! So plan plenty of time to park and get there ready to wait & play. I have to say it was pretty crowded and we did have reservations but keep in mind it's impossible to go bye the time frame purchased. You just stand and wait your turn and it seems to move slow and steady. There are employees there assisting if needed. It is so crowded, its fun and something pretty cool we will remember about Miami. Prices for drinks were good and didn't feel over priced. It's something you should try it's worth it. read more

DO NOT COME HERE WITH A LARGE GROUP OF FRIENDS. A large group of friends and I came here for my birthday and we were treated terribly. We were escorted out by the end of the night. And to think we are a group of 30 year olds and over. None of us will be returning. We ended up being escorted out by 4 security guards for no reason at all. It was very rude from the time our mini golf was over. First of all one of the holes was broken for a while so we waited for it to be fixed. Which caused us to be late for our table reservations. Once we got to the tables it got very awkward. The waiter did not want to seat us because it was 8pm and they close the top bar at 10pm. After haggling with her for a bit she finally agreed to seat us. We were two tables of 8 and were told our guests who were getting drinks at the bar cannot do that and have to order with our waiter. Everything came off so rude that none of my guests even wanted to give the waiter service. Then We began getting dirty looks from the waiters. At around 9:30 we were then told that we had to leave and 4 security guards were now at our table. The waiter never came to our table to see if we wanted anything else or if we were done ordering. I asked why are we being told to leave and the response was that we did not reserve the table for the whole day. It was so rude. I have never in my life been treated this way. We were literally followed out of puttshack by security guards. Everyone there seemed like they did not want to work there. Very cool and different way to enjoy playing putt putt. They have 3 different courses (Emerald, Ruby & Sapphire) to play, all different. Make sure to pay attention to their scoring, it's not just how few putts you take to make a shot. Great for date night or a family night out. While we waited, we tried to order a drink, but the bartender wasn't anywhere to be found. The place is great for indoor putt putt, however at 8pm no one under 21 is allow because it turn into an adult bar putt putt. The staff is okay not very friendly but they more about adult entertainment. We had two teenager who said the food, tea was awful. When I hear mini-golf I think of a cheesy, cheap, run down place, but this place is the exact opposite! Sapphire course is the most unique and biggest, but Ruby and Emerald have smaller holes and greater chances of a hole-in-one! Drinks: you CANNOT miss the PornStar Martini. Seriously if you've never tried it, you're missing out! It's sweet, refreshing, and comes with an epic smoke show presentation! If you want something more exotic, it's the Spiced Pineapple Mezcal Margarita! It is smokey, spicy, tangy, and it comes with a Jalapeño Hellfire Popsicle! Food: The food is phenomenal, fresh, and surprisingly elevated in taste and complexity! We had the Korean BBQ Bao Buns: perfectly balanced first bites. Juicy meat, crisp veggies, and a killer dipping sauce! Pepperoni Buzz Flatbread: not your ordinary, boring flatbread. Caramelized hot honey and honeycomb added a layer of depth by amplifying the texture of the pepperoni to contrast the softness of the flatbread. A hint of sweet, a hint of spicy, and over all an absolute success. Dessert: The French Quarter Crème Brûlée is what you've been wishing your espresso martini could do for you. Coffee flavor that isn't over powering, with sweet cream under a crunchy layer of caramelized sugar. Big enough for 2 or 3 people, good enough you won't have any left overs. Had a reservation. Showed up an hour early to grab a bite ahead of time. Informed the staff we had a reservation so we were "pre-checked" in. Once we were ready to play we were put in line to wait along with all the other walk-in guests. Terrible experience. Informed the manager who simply said "so sorry", and did nothing to change the situation or accommodate us in any way. What's the point of making a reservation? To make matters worse we were here an hour early! Very disappointing. Additionally, the playing experience was awful. The course is very tightly packed and extremely overcrowded. Have to wait for multiple parties to go before playing a hole. Constantly bumping into people isn't what miniature golf should be like. read more
