Great concept and idea but lacking organization! Don't know what is the point of making a reservation for a specific time if they do not follow it. Basically Doesn't matter what time you show up, you just check into a computer screen and wait a long line anyways to play! Our reservation was at 8:30 & we ended up playing close to a whole hour later. What sucks is, If there are large groups ahead of you you basically have to wait your turn and wait till everyone in the group goes, the time adds up. Good thing is you can order drinks straight from line while you're having to wait. Except the bar is soooo backed up because of this. Only 2 bartenders serving the entire restraunt plus everyone ordering drinks in line. We ended up eating and sitting at a table and got our food before even getting our drinks. Let me put it this way.....we even finished eatinggg and all befofe we got our drinks. Not to mention we decided to order a round of shots for the table at the end before leaving to go play and stand in line. And our waiter had to go himself to make us our shots himself bc he was so embarrassed at this point how long the bar was taking to get these shots to us! It was pretty disappointing , then one shot was short. Not the best experience service wise, they defiantly need more help and more hires and to get a better system going to be more organized bc it is a shame that the actual course once we finally got on it and got to play was fun and great but the experience and lack of service itself is what would make me not want to come back. read more

Hello Yelpers!! Puttshack Miami is a cool concept and it was a great night mostly because of the company I was with. This place is very nice and they had a nice bar and even have food service and plenty of waiters walking around taking drink orders. However, want to be clear we did not eat or order drinks. The first thing I highly recommend is that you must make a reservation for the time you're wanting to play. I do not recommend showing up and taking a chance. It is very busy inside and the first thing they ask you is "what time is your reservation". Here is the reason I brought it down from what would have been a 4 star experience to a 3. Puttshack allows way too many reservations at the same playing time. What happens is that you're standing in a huge line just to get from hole to hole. They tell you at the beginning "oh you can start at any hole just not the 9th hole because it keeps your ball". However, there's really no way to accomplish that and then try to go back to a previous hole when everyone is trying to be respectful and following the natural flow. Just make sure you come with patience. It took us an hour to get through 9 holes and overall had a nice time. If you're visiting and want something to do indoors then check them out. read more

We loved this experience. Mini-golf with a twist. There are basically three " courses " sapphire, ruby and emerald. You can play one each time so make sure you know what you choose. It was really fun and engaging , music is great , lighting is very cool. Simply the vibes are amazing. If you are coming during peak hours or Sundays expect a wait , the place can get crowded but i found that it was worth it. We will come back to try different courses and have dinner. Later) Place is LOUD. unable to have a regular conversation anywhere. Here's the worst part. They give you the tab to pay they added their own tip. We were a group of 6 and table says "a tip of 18% will be added on groups of 8 or more." A 38% was added on my tab. A thirty eight. Holes are short, creative in color but the technology behind it delays the check in process as well as the game if the balls get lost or do not count strokes. Need improvement. My friends and I went to Puttshack opening week and it was crazy. I don't think they imagined the number of people to be there. We had reservations and waited over an hour to play. There are 3/4 different types of "fields" to play. Since it was a Saturday it was definitely busy. Playing a game took much longer than usual. Bad, Bad, Bad..... I don't even know where to begin. First, the place is so hard to find. Once you do find it, they are so shortstaffed that no one is able to help you. Trying to get someone's attention is near to impossible. The place, Also seems very disorganized, and a little bit dirty. There was this nice older man that we think was the manager. He was willing to talk and help us with whatever we needed. He did seem like he was having a hard time helping us. Finally a young lady came and helped us with what we needed. Unfortunately, most of the information that he was giving us was wrong. But he was still very nice. Just seemed a little out of it and confused. Sorry we did not get his name. Most of the interactions that we had with the staff were negative. They seemed very much bothered or short that they couldn't help us. Once we finally were able to play, we had multiple issues throughout our game. We tried to get someone to come and help us multiple times , but as I mentioned, they were too shortstaffed to help us. The golf course were littered with empty glasses were kind of dirty overall. Also, one of the golf holes leaves you right by the kitchen and we saw the staff arguing with each other, which made us very uncomfortable and helped us decide not to eat here. Once we got past playing, we decided to stay to have a drink at the bar. After being ignored for almost 15 minutes by the three female bartenders that were busy in a deep conversation and trying to hide from us. We decided to leave. We did see the older gentleman before we left, and again he seemed as if he could not tell that we had a bad experience. He did thank us for coming. Overall, the place has a ton of potential. We came to minigolf and it was different, it's only 9 holes will take about 30minutes but lots of fun. Just be patient when mini golfing because you will be waiting for the people ahead of you, just get some drinks and enjoy the music and environment. I have been waiting all month for this place to open and made a reservation as soon as I could! I've been to several different mini golf courses so I didn't have the highest of expectations coming here (I was more interested to see what a tech-infused course was). Nonetheless, we had THE MOST incredible time! We started at the Sapphire course downstairs, but glad we went upstairs to do the Ruby course! It was definitely a bit more challenging/interactive (with one hole resembling beer pong, others with moving pieces). There are also bonus point opportunities at each hole which is really cool! At the end, Dennis was kind enough to get us our third (tie breaker) round on the Emerald course! (THANKS DENNIS!!!) To top it off, Chef Rob really put the cherry on top of our experience! We ended the night with the mooooosttt delicious food! The Bao Buns are to die for (and that sauce is AMAZING). The Pepperoni Buzz Flatbread (not pictured) is probably one of the best I've ever had - 10/10!! Lastly, the dessert... I love mini golf, so when I heard they were opening a fancy, new mini golf place in Brickell, I had to check it out. I went with my dad and my bf on opening day, and it was fantastic! We started off on the sapphire course downstairs, and it was so much fun. Each hole was very unique, with bonus points for special trick shots. It was at first confusing but eventually you get used to it and understand what to do. Do not host your party here! The food you paid for must be eaten on premises. I threw a $1400 corporate event happy hour. Food was included. Half way through the event, I needed to leave for the airport and asked for a to-go box. I was informed by my waiter, the manager, and the MOD/GM that letting people leave with the food they paid for is against their policy. They would have to make me a to go order (in addition to the food already ordered and plated -- charging me for it). They cited food borne illness. The food was on the table, and people were still eating it. My leaving with it and eating it on the way to the airport is the same as someone eating there. Moreover, I left after 90 min. This is no longer than a long dinner and asking for a to go bag. Net net, we threw out tons of food, locals couldn't take it home. I didn't get dinner I paid for. Why are we wasting food like this when people are on the streets and starving? I would have been fine at least donating it. I do these events often at multiple venues and have NEVER had this happen. In fact, most organizations will literally box the food for you without asking. This includes their darts brethren at flight club boxed my food not 6 weeks ago. Nutty. read more

They force everyone to one of three courses so one course is packed while others are empty. We got the sodas from a manager after completing game. He says I'll meet you in a few minutes with a refund. After finishing second game and not seeing manager, I spoke to Director of Operations. He finally got manager to give refund an hour later. We went to Puttshack a couple of weekends ago with some friends. We were a group of six and made the reservation online for a Friday night around 8.30 pm (reservation is 100% recommended, if not, waiting time can take up to a couple of hours depending on how packed the place is). We checked in for the Emerald area (which is 9 holes game). Before going upstairs we decided to get some drinks because we didn't see any bar upstairs in that specific area of playing. We spent 15 min trying to order a drink at the bar, the bartender was not friendly and her vibe was not friendly at all. After a while, we were finally able to place an order but she was not nice, plus she took forever to get us one basic cocktail, two draft beers, and a bottle of wine. We finally went upstairs to start our game and there was a line, so we waited like 10 min (it moved quickly after all). The game took like 45 min for our group of 6 and each hole has a different activity so it's great for a group plan! The space for the 9 holes game is pretty small though, we thought it was all the second floor but no, it is just 1/3 of the second floor. Before leaving, we got a table to order some food and that was great! The food was delicious. Service was ok but the food was great! We got Jackfruit Baos and some salads.
