I went to the Pittsburgh location and was excited to find out that Philly had one too! This interactive, digital golf is awesome! Each hole is a different adventure! The bar and restaurant area has plenty of space even on busy days. The food was pretty good, and the drinks were very creative! The service was pretty slow, even when not busy and I had to ask the waitress a few times for certain orders. This location also seemed more expensive for less of an experience compared to the Pittsburgh location.

Fun mini golf spot with a big bar area for food and drink. It can get pretty busy in here especially on weekends. Food menu had mostly pub fare and easy bites, and the drink menu has some nice big mixed drinks. Cocktails are all big and appear fancy. Mini golf signup is easy, there is a desk or you can go to the kiosks on the wall. The score is tracked through a chip in your golf ball though this may pose some issues with picking it up properly. Pretty interesting design on some of the courses, it was pretty fun. Not all of them are super intuitive though, but aiming for the green spots proves valuable for your score. There are multiple different courses (sapphire, amber, ruby, etc) so it's a different experience on which you are assigned to. Overall a pretty fun spot. Thanks

I went to PuttShack on 4/19/25 and it was fun! The food was great, the games were amazing, and everything was aesthetically pleasing! I was with a group of 6 people and the games went super fast. We were all able to get our balls and clubs and begin playing right away. It's really cool, because you can keep track of how you're doing with the screen at each station and see how others are doing as well. However the games do go by super fast and my brother's ball got lost and stuck in one of the holes so he couldn't play for the rest of the time, so that wasn't really nice. Overall, it was fun, but I wish they had more stations and that the balls didn't get stuck. It was also pretty crowded for some stations.

I took my 15 year old son here and it was super fun! It's good to make a reservation. We got there early and we were able to start putting right away. There are 4 different 9 hole areas. We were on Ruby. The best part is it tracks your score the whole time. It went by super fast so I would suggest buying 18 holes. After we sat at a nice booth and Cokes and appetizer. We got the potstickers and the humus with pita. We enjoyed both a lot. Definitely would return here again.

Came here for a fun mini golf outing with my cousins. The courses are small, 9 holes but there are multiple ones so you can go to others. It was a bit crowded but everyone gets a personalized golf ball so you can skip holes and go back to others if there's a wait. You can easily finish a course in 30 minutes which is bit too fast in my book. One of my cousins attempted her last hole for a course but it didn't count and since it was the last hole, she didn't get her ball back to re try. We had some similar issues where the hit didn't process and we had to start over on that hole. We also got drinks there but mine was not great. I got a pornstar martini but it had a spicy aftertaste. It might be cause my sister ordered a spicy margarita and maybe it was made in the same shaker? We didn't have any food here so can't speak to that. Probably won't come back here since we completely 2 courses while we there but nice to check out once.

We booked a reservation and upon arrival we were advised to check in at a kiosk. The kiosk advised to go to the ruby area, so we asked the hostess, who pointed us in the right direction. However, once we got there, it wasn't clear what to do next. There was a contraption with screen which said balls were there, but staff access only. After standing around for a while, we flagged down a waiter who stated he would find someone to help us. Another 5 mins and help arrived. I don't know if they were understaffed, but it seems like an attendant should be in each area to explain the process. Or it would have been nice for the hosts to have made sure someone met us there to give us balls, as you cannot get them on your own. Overall we had a fun enough time, but the process needs a little improvement. We didn't eat there, so I can't speak to the food. I would probably return, but I'm not in a rush.

We had a nice time but the putting experience was a little underwhelming. It was my birthday but I didn't get the free game & none of the staff cared enough to explore why. 2 people- $35, a bit pricey for the short time we were on the green. Unless you're a really bad putter (or in a large group) the 9-holes goes by pretty quickly. Our game included a couple hiccups & restarts because the ball wasn't registering w/ the computerized scoring- interrupting momentum to switch balls & causing the loss of some good shots. The courses we didn't get to try looked similar to what we already played, but no complaints on the overall design. The holes didn't present much of a challenge, but thanks to the themes still held our interest. I can see how on the right night w/ some drinks this could be a lot of fun- it just wasn't the best inaugural run.

Game-ified mini golf? Count me in. Came here on a recommendation while visiting folks in Philly who have kids, and this is a stellar spot for big groups, adults or kids! The system registering for a game and then going to a different course and playing at your speed is really neat. The layout makes it really seamless to play a 9 or 18 hole, and during my entire 18, didn't feel like we were waiting or holding anyone up. The game it self has so many more interactive fun tools, and i love that the ball and score are all electronically tied. It removes cheating / errors, and helps with flow! I love how each 9 had a little differences so it really is a unique experience. The food was pretty good! After we were done with our 18, we got some food an more drinks. The bartenders are great and super smooth in keeping up with large crowds and large orders. The buffalo dip was a crowd pleaser but would want to come back to try more tasty bites!

A fun spot for a night out! Makes a fun date night activity that is different than meeting at a bar or going to dinner! It is fun, interactive and even when you had to wait for a hole it wasn't bad. The mini golf is fun and they are more like little games than regular mini golf which I liked. The best part is that you don't need to keep score since it is all electronic! The staff is super friendly and I didn't think it was overly expensive!

I came here on Labor Day and the bar was not busy at all. But bae and I sat at the bar and I set my timer. It took them over 5 mins before we were acknowledged. We were actually getting ready to leave but what saved them is the tennis match was on. Now once we got service the food and drinks were great! But it was the ignoring us at first that left a bad taste in my mouth. The Brussel sprouts were so good and came with peppers which gave it a good kick. The shrimp skewers were good but had gotten cold when they brought them out and they serve it over cornbread. The margaritas were good not too sweet. I would go back to give it another try and to play putt putt golf because the vibe seemed fun.

Putt Shack has long been on my list of newer establishments to check out. The west side of Chestnut Street is a bit devoid of "activity" places in the wake of the pandemic so a new mini-putt location is a beautiful sight. ENVIRONMENT I'll admit I was surprised at the sophistication of the mini-put setup. Upon entering, you are advised to veer to one of several mini-putt course environments(each with different games). The balls have sensors which keep track of your scores and you are guided around your course via screens that showcase your reservation. The overall design was quite sleek. FOOD I'll admit the food service started off a bit shaky. I was sitting for 10+ minutes before my server arrived. However, the delay was acknowledged and the service I received afterwards was prompt. The food was tasty and "elevated" for the expectations of mini=putt cuisine. There wasn't a single dish that was a disappointment and the brussel sprouts were a standout! Overalll, this is the perfect place to consider for a first date, corporate get together(there was one happening during my visit) or a relaxed night out with friends. The min-putt course and food were far above average. Happy swings!

Came here as a pit stop after seeing STOMP at the Miller Theater (see my review!) and going to dinner at Sura Indian Bistro (see my review!). My kid and I had an ok time people watching and having some drinks at the bar. Puttshack is an over-the-top mini golf place combined with a bar food type restaurant. The music blares and the couple hundred people we saw on a Saturday afternoon seemed to be having a good time. The mini golf courses (three of them named after colors) were in well kept shape and there were lots of tricks on each hole to get the best score. I'd say that if you've been to electronic bowling with the screens showing the scores of everyone in your party would be the best analogy to how they show scores here for everyone. It's very high tech and looked like fun. Apparently, you can register for times to start online. If you were a walk-in, then the wait could be hours. Based on what I saw on the screens for party tee times they were in 10-minute intervals for at least two hours. There are putters in boxes along the courses and somehow the balls come out of different places to start. My kid and I did not have time to play and probably couldn't due to the very crowded facility. There were all ages here. Families, college friends, workplace comrades, etc. But I did read that after 7pm it's adults only. We sat at the bar rather quickly and were met quickly and very friendly. My kid had a Porn Star Martini and I had a mixed drink off menu. Both were excellent. It took a while before being asked if we wanted any more and I did. The bartender made a recommendation for a different soda and I agreed. This is where we got overlooked. Instead of immediately making our drinks, she took other orders at the register and made theirs. Then she made some more. And again. Then she saw me looking and waiting and pointed out to her other bartender that we were waiting and did offer a "yelled" apology towards us. But, after a few more minutes, we would not have enough time to make our dinner reservation, so we had to leave without the third drink. I don't know if it was ever made. It was just too long to wait and yes, they were busy, but drinks should come out in the order they were requested. $38 not including tip for a cocktail and mixed drink. Server was very friendly but got caught up in the mass of other people ordering and took too long for us. Maybe we'd be back for the mini-golf and some food. Not sure of those prices.

Three reasons for a 3 out of 5 1) they had one of two check in machines to start your putt golf experience down and we had a long wait. Then we had some tech issues with the balls being read on the putting greens. 2) My sister spent nearly 20 minutes at the bar to get drinks, then another 15 to get waters. We held up other players due to the delays. I was surprised they didn't offer walking around wait beverage service. That would be a money-maker in a place like this. 3) We had a dinner table res which we were not a bit late for, no worries, they did seat us right away. However, while our starting shareables came right out we waited nearly an hour for 1 dish to come out and we were wrapped in conversation so didn't think much but when we did inquire it was another 20-30 minutes before it finally came out.... funny we added another shareable not being sure our actual dish would come out. So long waits and lost food is my reason. However, as for our play experience, we had a blast and loved the cleverness and creativity of the putting greens. Wish however they had the trivia questions at more putts. The 2 we saw helped drive conversation and get us into a happy mood. Hence, room for improvement. Will be back because it was a fun experience but we might not say to eat or drink.

I intentionally booked an off-hour since I didn't want my big group to get in anyone's way, and opening time on a Saturday worked perfectly. We were seated at a long table in the back that felt as close to a private room as we could get. Appreciated our server being patient with some late guests and checking in on us regularly. I loved the spicy chicken sandwich as much as the first time I had it, and also tried the lamb kheema cheesesteak (delicious) and the masala nachos (HUGE portion). Super reasonable prices for food and drinks here, and still some of the best Asian fusion food I've had with really authentic flavors transformed into classic bar-food dishes. We went to mini golf afterwards and did all 18 holes; I was afraid so much mini golf could get tiring or boring, but we had a blast throughout and played for a good 3+ hours. Some of the upstairs holes were deceptively difficult, but we didn't take it too seriously and honestly it made it funnier. Again, coming at a less-crowded time was a good call as I can imagine a big group being more cumbersome to other guests at a busy time. The place did pick up in the evening right as we were finishing up. Overall, Libertee Grounds is a great place for a meal, drinks, and activity whether it's for a date, friend hangout, or a larger event (I know they do event bookings for particularly large groups).
