10/25/2017 Untrue Yelp Review In regards to Toni C's. review. Many times we have set up appointments only to have our crew show up and her not be there. We agreed on a price for landscape clean ups, never for tree care. Tree care is completely separate pricing. This is why Mike does free estimates and meets with clients. If we don't have an agreement on a price, we certainly won't touch your trees. No shows cost our crew time and money. In regards to the invoicing, if an invoice goes unpaid we do continue sending them out. Unfortunately sometimes they are not paid in a timely manner. In regards to the lime tree, we were not contracted to care for this tree and unfortunately it was lack of care and improper irrigation which is out of our hands. We do apologize for upsetting this client and as we have gotten busier we have hired on a full time office person to handle our calls so that waiting is minimized and our clients are taken care of quickly and efficiently. My wife and I have used PV Trimmers on an annual basis since 2002, at both of the homes we've used in the Valley. At our first home we had them take down a very large cottonwood tree that was planted decades before we bought the place, and whose roots had begun to disturb the house's foundation. This seemed to us like a touchy project, as any mistake could lead to a very large limb entering through the tile roof! Needless to say, a professional job. At our second home, Mike Thompson and his crew have managed the cleaning of our 3 very tall palms, two ghost eucalyptus trees (@ about 70' tall), 3 full size olive trees, a tall elm, and a 20' pepper tree, keeping each neat and tidy - and safe! Wow! I NEVER post reviews. When a job is well done I believe that is what I paid for and expected. However, this company was above and beyond ANY expectations! I never believed I could love my yard. Once PV Trimmers showed up and did their magic, I could not believe it was my house as I pulled up. In addition to the great results, the entire experience was professional and positive. From scheduling the job to completion, I was more than satisfied. I NEVER do reviews. I could not allow myself to chalk this experience up to "a job well done"! It was so much more! PV Trimmers was highly recommended..... A few of my neighbors promised I would be more than happy......I had to write this review as soon as I came home and some the work PV Trimmers had done. They really care about the trees, bushes, grass and all the things I took for granted in my yard. In addition to making my house look amazing, the owners took time educating me on some things I can do to help keep my living yard happy and healthy. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. We have used PV Trimmers for the last 18 years. The work has always been outstanding. if we ever had a problem they came out to take care of it immediately. With the amount of trees on my property they have to come out at two different times. I was placed first on the schedule for that day and they were at my home by 6:15 am.They trimmed three palm trees and other trees in my backyard. In the front of my house I have two large trees they take care of. After the work is completed and they have cleaned up the area. You would never know they were out. I recently helped a friend move from the Pacific Northwest to Phoenix. The house he was moving into had a yard in disarray. He can trim/remove trees in difficult locations, always having safety as the main focus. Communication has never been a problem. Mike and crew have been trimming our trees for years. They trim our palm trees as well as our deciduous trees. They also do trimming of shrubs and clean-up work for us in early Spring.
