It's nuts, booth after booth of insanely "safe" fireworks for sale. They even have a field where you can launch your fireworks right there in the event you can't take them home. A few words of warning. Everyone is there to have fun, relax and have patience with the traffic and crowds. Be aware of your surroundings. If you have a child that is on the spectrum, maybe not a good idea. This is the definition of sensory overload. If you have visitors from a well regulated European country, take them! If you have visitors from California where everything is illegal, take them!

The views are nice, the overall vibe is lively without feeling overwhelming, and there is enough going on that you do not need deep racing knowledge to enjoy yourself. That part matters, because some places can make you feel like you missed orientation. This did not. It felt accessible, upbeat, and like a genuinely unique local experience instead of another event venue dressed up as one. I will say that the parking lot is rather small and it can be very challenging to find any parking during the summer. When I arrived on this particular day, there was literally a line out to the road with vehicles trying to find parking. It can get pretty cut throat, too. The park itself is generously sized, in the splash pad has a lot of unique features that my kids really enjoyed. My favorite part is that they had features for small children as well as larger children. Usually when I go to other splash pads it smells funky or like chlorine. But this location smelled fresh and seemed to have been upkept recently. Western Washington is a notorious area for high amounts of trafficking, so I always have to keep an eye out wherever we go. But thankfully, this area seemed pretty safe so we will definitely be back next summer for more playtime.

Activities that this park is mostly geared towards is sports as there is several spots for baseball, football and other ball games. Nice walking paths here that take you to a community center nearby and a forested area with several different trails meandering through the trees. Some of these paths link ip to the BPA Trail, a walking and bicycling path.
