She duplicated a Jane Fonda do from a photo perfectly. Sadly, it didn't make my 84 year old wrinkled wrinkles face look like Ms. Fonda's. I goofed asking her to make it shorter thinking to prolong the time between trims to save money. After a night's sleep on it, I couldn't duplicate the fabulous style. Next time I'll go with her first instinct also known as experience and expertise. She does a great job and is very enthusiastic and bubbly to boot. Noticing her glamorous long lovely do and red lipstick added to my trust even with my days to attempt glamour long past. The cost @ below $40 is probably pretty reasonable these days too. I recommend Teresa and Q Salon. Topping off that nurturing by going across the plaza for a Xinia's pastry is my idea of a big day now.

My biggest issue continues to be the OWNER repeatedly canceling my appointments. This has happened more than once, and it is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Customers arrange their schedules around appointments, and our time should be respected too. What makes this especially disappointing is that the cancellations are coming from the owner herself. As the owner of a business, I would expect you to set the example when it comes to reliability, communication, and customer service. If a customer repeatedly canceled appointments, I'm sure it would be considered unacceptable and they could potentially be charged a cancellation fee. So why should customers be expected to simply accept repeated cancellations from the business? I have tried to be patient, but there is only so much inconvenience a customer should have to tolerate. I am leaving this review because this was genuinely my experience, and other customers deserve to know what they may encounter when booking here.

I've been getting my hair done with Adriana for almost a year now. I first heard about her through…read moremy cousin. Now all the women in my family get their hair done by her. She's amazing! Whether you're looking to get a new hair cut, color or even scalp treatments, she'll hook you up. Before seeing Adriana, I never invested in hair cuts, color or products because I always felt it was too expensive. BUT I soon realized that you end up saving much more money. I was able to wear my haircut for six months because my hair grew out so beautifully after she cut it. I didn't need to go back for a trim because my hair grew out so nicely without becoming heavy. The same goes with color! I see Adriana every 8 weeks or so for toning because I have colored hair with highlights. My hair never turns brassy or fades. I've also started using the hair products that she recommends. I always used to use dove or Pantene, but it was so damaging. Ive invested in good quality products that she recommends and it has lasted nearly a year because you don't need to use much product and you don't need to wash your hair everyday. Investing in your hair can be pricy but Adriana's prices are VERY reasonable considering the amazing quality, consistency and longevity. In addition to regular hair cuts and colors, I've included scalp treatments. These have really changed my life and I'm so glad Adriana introduced them to me. I suffer from a dry scalp and dandruff. Especially during the colder months. Thankfully these scalp treatments offer me so much relief. She'll brush out all the dry skin and buildup in your hair and leave you with a healthy scalp. I've developed such a great relationship with Adriana. She's not just my hair stylist but a great friend. She is so knowledgeable and is constantly working to perfect her craft. I give her full control and liberty to do whatever with my hair because she truly knows what's best for me based on my lifestyle, face/head shape and hair type. She really takes her time with all the work she does. I end up spending hours with her because she is always so meticulous and careful with her work. You won't be getting a 10 minute hair cut here! She asks you questions, gets to know you and tries to produce something that is individualized for you. She's also great to talk to but also cool with just being quiet and letting you relax. I've tried venturing out to other hair dressers/salonists, but their haircuts just don't hit the same as Amy's. She's so kind, meticulous, cares about the type of style/haircut you want/how you want it to grow out, knows the importance of each individual's hair texture and how the haircut will look, etc. You know how some hair dresser's haircuts can be a hit or miss depending on the day ... well Amy's haircuts ALWAYS make me feel fabulous after.
