Terrible we made a appointment with them for 4:30 they called us around 2 to remind us of our appointment and said you can come between 4:30 to 5. We got there at 5 door was locked rude man ran outside And told us we never had an appointment. Recommend not to go here and it said it closes at 6:30 on the door. I've been bringing my maltese here for almost a year. I like this one the best because they do tidy up my pup a lot, the other place I went to like a block or two away from here wasn't that good. Here, they did a good job cutting his nails, cleaning his ears, trimming the hair on his paws, and the cut is always perfect with the length I asked for. My James looks happy whenever I come pick him up and he smells good too! Like baby powder. I was able to do walk in for the first couple of times, but they require booking appointment now since they're getting busy. Will definitely call next time for another cut! read more

First time bringing my dog to Q Cute and they did an amazing job. Friendly and attentive.

FIRST!!! Ok, now that i've got that out of my system, I can proceed with my review. The groomer is really sweet and knowledgeable. She told me that dogs love her based on her positive energy, which must be true since my dog loves her. She also saved me a trip to the vet when my dog had a persistent red eye. I trust her judgment if I need advice on his health, the right shampoo or the best chew toy for him. However, -1 star because she never cuts my dog's hair the way I request it. My dog is a Shih Tzu and they have notoriously fine hair. During the summer, I go to the groomer's so that my baby can be shaved naked but she never does it right. She leaves like an inch of hair on him. I want to see his spotty skin down to the core, but she leaves a layer of hair on him. I can't complain because for $44 she cuts, washes, clips his nails, and cleans his ears. I can make an appointment instantly because it doesn't seem like she has a large client base. I will put NONE IF I CAN!! HORRIBLE!! i have a schnauzer so he needs a special type of haircut for his breed... so I asked the guy to do 3 simple things: 1) to be sure to clean his ears and the hair inside the ears 2) cut his nails 3) shave his hair under the arm pit and body but keep the schnauzer look when i came to pick him up in about an hour.. this is what i got: 1) ears were clean and hairs removed - good 2) nails were NOT cut - WTF? 3) under arm and body hairs were still at the same length.... -fine, i can deal with BUT what i then discovered was they over shaved off all the hair and INTO the SKIN at the edge of he ears where his ears and the head meets, so he was shaved on his skin.... again he's a schnauzer so he's a breed that needs to have his ears cropped and they shaved him on his edge where the ears were cut... so it gave him a rash and he couldn't stop scratching it.. few days and it finally heal then i reazlied today, that spot healed and it's now bald!! it's like a penny size on his hears that's BALD!!!!! I've been to other groomers and they've done great job doin what i ask, sometimes there might be a slight cut, but Q-Cute just shaved it all off -bleed - and BALD!!! wtf!?!?!?!?!? This place is very affordable and very quick. We have been coming here for the last 5 years, and I have nothing negative to report. The female groomer seems to always be very pleasant. My dog has very sensitive skin due to allergies and they take very special care in grooming her. They usually do a basic puppy cut and she is a shih tzu. read more

I've been coming here since 2009, when I first picked up my dog (cockapoo). Honestly, one of the reasons I came here was because it was so close to my house..but i'm glad I did! Mandy is super nice and according to her bio on the website, she has won awards back in HK for dog pageants. Don't know if that's any true, but still doesn't change the fact that she is friendly and know what she's talking about. The place also sells pet supplies, although the items are kinda cheap. I bought a toy for my dog here a while back and saw that the color was coming off from my dog chewing it. Not really a big deal, just spelled cheap quality to me. The past 2 times I went, the nails were not trimmed. Not sure if this was an oversight on their end or considered an additional service now. I'll continue going back! read more

I've been bringing my maltesexshihtzu mix here for about three years now. I tried other places too, but I always come back to this one. My dog, Happy, always comes back smelling really nice for the whole week after the grooming. They do a really good job and they are really thorough in their cleaning. They clean the inside of the ears really well; some places do a bad job cleaning inside the ears. I'm not really a picky person when it comes to my dog's haircuts, as long as he looks neat I'm okay with it. And they do exactly that. Ask for the lady groomer. I'm not sure of what her name is. Absolutely love this place! They're so sweet and kind to my dog! We've been taking her here for about a year now. She knows exactly how I want her to be cut. I love coming here because they do a good job and it's fairly cheap! It's about 40-45 to cut my small yorkie. My previous place charged me 60 before tips. This place is cash only. They also sell other dog accessories from beds, to clothing to food. The groomer always puts a bow on my dog when she's done. I don't like it because it hurts her when I try to take it off. So if you don't want it, make sure you tell them in advance. read more

Amazing service. Just brought my one year old Maltese mix to this groomer and they did a fantastic job! My pup had crazy amount of knots everywhere and they took care of all that. Worth the 1.5 hour commute on the train to get there. Will definitely be going back soon to groom my other puppy. This place is beyond horrible, my father in law brought our 1 year old morkie here to get groomed (now i will admit our dog gets scared easily and gets a little aggressive but nothing that cant be handled). They told us to come back in 2 hours and he would be ready to go, my father in law got there 15 minutes early and when he walked in he witnessed one of the groomers slam our dog really hard onto the table, at that moment my father in law yelled and told them to give us the dog back and the owner asked for $20 for the dogs grooming in which they didnt even finish! They left his face untouched and his hair was very uneven! Once we heard the news we called the place to speak to the manager and the person who answered refused to give us his name or let us speak to the manager. He knew what had just happened and what they were doing to our puppy and refused to even let us speak to anyone. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! We come here more than 1and half years, never happen this bad thin before! The haircut not that beautiful, but I think my Riceball she's beautiful dog, so we don't need them how good skills, and they have a good price! I brought my dog Riceball to the Q-cute on this Wednesday for haircut, I normally don't check anything, cause I believe they, especially the old lady Mandy, she look nice. After we back, I play with Riceball, and I see they didn't cut the nail, but I think that's not a big problem, so I didn't call! And Riceball started licking her paws, I simply thought it was a bad habit she just developed and didn't think if there's something wrong. Two days later my sister brought Riceball to my workplace and show me the blood on four of her paws, all paws skin were broken! That's when I realized why she started licking her paws! Other than the haircut she got from the pet shop there was no other chance for her to get hurt in the past few days. The pet shop offered nothing by way of apology when I called them to complain the poor skill. Instead they were accused of my dog have skin disease. The fact is we just visited the doctor before we made to the pet shop! I'm very angry, and I cut the line. After almost 20 mins, they call back, I don't wanna listen anymore for that shit! Then they leave a message to me. Let me bring my Riceball to see the doctor, to see what happen about paws. Let me bring back receipt to them, will pay me back. But they still didn't say sorry for Riceball, and I didn't feel any apology! I know money can buy most thing from the world, but not this! I need a respect and apology! Came here for a couple time, the price was decent and service was ok but the last two times my dog fleas!! I called them and told them the situation. They refused and blamed my dog got it from somewhere else, there's no decency and they do not have any responsibilities for their actions. I do not recommend coming here especially most of the reviews claim they injuried other dogs. read more

I have been bringing my small Malti-Po here for years and they do a very good job. My little guy is hyper because of a previous episode at a other groomer-boarding facility. I called the same day for an appointment and they were able to fit him in. He was washed, fluffed and puffed so well. He came home as eager and excited as ever. Their prices are competitive and even lower other groomers. I am someone considers my pet as a member of my family and I am concerned when I have him groomed. Decided to bring my dog here after my friend's recommendation & since it was close by... my biggest regret. My dog was not himself after coming here. It was his first time at the groomers ever. He is ALWAYS excited to see me & pees a little every time since I don't see him often, but when I picked him up he didn't even bark. He didn't lick me or try to smell me. He just sat in my arms. He usually barks at everyone he sees, but not a peep from him the entire car ride home; even when we were pulled over by cops. My dog did not make a peep, instead he just played there on my lap. When we got home, we noticed he was acting strange. He was limping. My dog is not trained and it's impossible to cut his hair at home, I was so surprised they were able to cut his hair & nails. He would fight me when I try to do it. I know for sure he was not limping when we brought him in. I really hope they did not abuse him in there or tie him up by his leg to cut him. But never again will I bring my puppy there. My energetic pup came back quiet and limping. There were also cuts all over him, but little cuts here and there happen. I really like this place. Mandy is my dogs groomer and she is so friendly. Lola (my pup) seems to like her. I have been coming here for 7 years. I recently moved out of the neighborhood and Mandy always makes sure to book my fur baby early. I wait for her in the waiting area. Just about an hour and Lola comes out fresh cut and clean. This was the first grooming place I've brought my dog to. At first, I loved the service and I always fell in love with the outcome. However, after the third or fourth time bringing my dog, I've noticed that he's been coming home with cuts on his face and on his armpit. I also noticed that he's been bringing home fleas from this place. Every time I bring him to this place, he always made an attempt to run away. After bringing him home from the groomers, he would always be afraid. He would hide under the bed for days. After the fifth time bringing him, I noticed a bald spot near his legs. I did tons of research and even brought him to the vet. The vet told me he must've been burnt or someone must've shaved him. He never had that bald spot before we went to the groomers. I also had a few friends who warned me about this place. I was stupid to ignore what they said. Definitely not coming back next time. You are warned!! They don't tell you anything about your dog.
